Hey guys, i am heading to bali end of june for like 20 days, flying solo. I read tons about bali that it has mostly aussies and 20 % everything else.

After extensive reading about bali, the party areas i opted for kuta nice hotel very close to all the clubs by the beach, i know some nice clubs in seminyak too, bass as a solo traveler i can t see myself chilling in a place like ku de ta.

Well the plan is go to potato head and coocoon during the day, do some day game, and at night head to few small bars and come back for sky garden later on, chill on their roof floor try to locate some girls then go down take a bottle and table and fish for the rest of the night in sky dome floor.

I know a lot will say kuta is trash and overwhelming, but i want to hear positive things and helpful tips or stuff that i missed if i missed anything because i already paid for the hotel. Thanks a lot

Thank you Saladin, i read all your thread before, very interesting, so where we you hanging out in sky garden the most? i saw pictures and lay out but i still can t figure out this damn club, it s one of those you can t have an good view club with a stage for bogans higher then vip tables. I am not really worried about bogans, i know your report is very well detailed, but is there anything else u remember from sky garden or other stuff u found out at the end of your vacation wish you discover earlier?

Worldtraveller year i heared it s cheap similar prices like thailand if you drink a lot, i don t have a budget. Lol young drunk girls are always a good thing though.

Jake it's cheaper than Thailand. If you cleaned up on Phi Phi u will do well in Bali...I'm assuming ur young and good looking

Time to avoid Bali is October/November..it is full of Australians on end of season football trips AFL and NRL (not soccer)...big groups of big blokes

Its a multi floor club.

There's a bunch of different rooms.

My favorite is the top floor where there's a lot of open air areas with good views, and slightly quieter music. This is where I did the best since I could talk more. I didn't really like the dance floors that much, although they are a good spot to do some warm up approaches or vibe to the music. If your dance floor game is stronger those spots are for you.

Good timing then. It's Ramadan so all the party girls from Jakarta will be flying into Bali as all the clubs shut down in Jakarta while in Bali it's more laid back and effectively business as usual. Should be enough Jaks chicks hitting up Kuta as well as Seminyak, tho I am not sure on the quality. But I am sure you will pick up enough hotties during the daytime if you are checking out potato head and Cocoon.

Also. while you're there in Seminyak during the day then W hotel may also be a shout and would check out La Plancha and a few of the other beach bars along the walk going north past Cocoon.

Found the bogans a monumental pain in the ass any time I ventured into the Kuta area, so never spent that much time there. They just wreck it on a night out harassing the chicks to the point that all the decent looking ones are scared off and they also proper try to cut your grass as well. I even had guys still trying to cut in on me while I was making out with a chick. So good luck with that. But I suspect you know and are prepared for this already.

I would add tho that I am a mid 30s not particularly good looking, average height, pasty and not jacked up. The whole beach singlet and flipflop scene really is not me. However, from your Phi Phi report you seem to be a lot more suited to that environment: tall, physically attractive to the girls and physically intimidating to the guys. So you will likely get less hassle and attract more chicks there. So I am interested to see how it goes, you will likely have a lot better a time there than I did I suspect.

I wouldn't rule out nightgame in Seminyak entirely. Chances are you will pick up some real hot Indo chicks during the day in Seminyak and they may want to bring you out in Seminyak later anyway, shouldn't be too far in a cab either way.

For early evening pre-sky garden try Hu'u Bar, Favela (and red carpet bar across the road) are good as well as potato head et al. I have a datasheet (see signature below) tho assuming you've seen it already and I have little in the way of intel on Kuta unfortunately. Luckily there are some other guys on the board here who have good intel on Kuta, ie Saladin for one has a very solid recent report.

My DS likely also needs an update, I'll contact some of my girls there and see if they recommend anywhere else. Will also see if they have any info on Kuta, tho few of them ever venture down there so unlikely to know.

Mirror had the hottest girls when I went in February . Jumanji was ok on a Wednesday if you don't mind being bumped by waiters every 2 seconds. Mint was dead on a Saturday when I went and as someone else said is pretty small and more like a bar set up. Red carpet and favela were both ok earlier on on the evening.

I ended up in sky garden a couple times and whilst I picked up there I have to say it is an absolute shit hole full of indo pros, the worst kind of Australian girls and a smattering of weak japs and Euros, personally my idea of hell.

I was there mid February so this information may well be seasonal, it was a quiet period with sky garden being the only option Sunday to Tuesday.

Potato, kudeta etc are really not evening pick up spots at all unless they have an event party on.

Hopefully ramadan will cause an influx of jkt party girls for you.

Yeah Feb would still have been in rainy season so would have been quiet everywhere. But still, I would have thought it would have been busier.

Mynt been kinda getting worse each time I was there, but I still found there was decent talent tho and the chicks were quite receptive. Tho there's a few hookers who operate in the area too. But yes it's quite small and the bar in the centre takes up a fair bit of the limited room available in the club. Worth sticking your head into regardless as you can size it up fairly quickly

Agreed Potato and KDT aren't that great for picking up, but if you focus hanging around the bar areas you will get chatting with a fair few folk and there will certainly be options. But still cool place to go chill during the day and early evening. Cocoon would be best for actually picking up I'd say, especially if the event 'Splash' is on (Sundays).

Irish you are the expert, i really chose ramadan exactly for that, i thought there would be more locals girls from jakarta. I read your report it was great. I m not in flip flops or tink tops either in clubs, i always dress smart well in phi phi may be the flip flops is a must.

As for those bogans well i learned how to deal with them in patong, if you check the dance floor in seduction patong, well dressed girls facing bunch of tink tops guys pulling silly moves on the dance floor, these idiots would strike out so much they don t care about getting rejected 100 times a night. I ll try to establish a good relation with the manager/ bouncers take a nice table, find a girl i like and take her back to my table for privacy. I have a feeling kuta will be like patong instead of russians, more euro and scandinavian chicks, who knows russia s economy is back on track might even find some over there.

From what i heared ku de ta is dead now , Potato head is the happening place, my friends from singapore told me they absolutely loved it, and they did get some action even though they weren't particularly looking, and the pictures from coocoon parties they had were insane, i ve been to ibiza 5 times and haven t seen this much girls in one small pool, ratios are all in our favor.

192 i am sure all SEA is seasonal, even in a same country areas are seasonal... Most euro chicks will go on vacation after uni or take a vacation during a hot month of summer and head to a beach destination like bali, they tend to pick july because it would a bit cheaper for tickets/ accomodation then august.

Barely any Europeans visit Bali in comparison to Thailand. I remember reading statistics for the nationalities entering Bali in 2014 and obviously Australia was top (but only at 25% surprisingly), China made up around 20%, Malaysia around 10%, other Asian countries like Singapore, Taiwan, Japan and Korea were up there, with a few from the US and UK as well. I think Russia had the highest percentage of visitors from Europe actually so they're everywhere those Russians!

I thought about going to Bali but the night life seems a bit hit and miss to me. Judging by reports from friends, it's easy to get laid but the quality isn't great, and there aren't many venues that you can rely on to be busy. Plus, clubs don't get going until around mid-night so being up until the early hours of the morning every night will start to take its toll sooner or later. The current relationship between Australia and Indonesia, and the threat of terrorism doesn't help matters.

Adrenaline, out of curiosity i read those reports to and i was shocked also of the only 25% of australians , i thought it s a lot more, if you count total of european countries + american + russians + russian you are around 20.2 %. I find that very logical due to proximity of australia, in the month of july americans + europeans are around 26% equal to the aussies in 2014. In clubs i think those percentages are higher, that s why it s a shock to only find 25% australians in those statistics. Btw most cities in thailand have this couples of clubs usually that attracts most of the tourists, like seduction in patong, green mango in koh samui, bangkok has a couple catering tourists but levels mostly, so i guess skygarden would be that for kuta.

Adrelanine, i was in the same position and really worried about reports before i booked, but i am running out of new beach destinations and i wanted to check it out first hand and see how it goes. I dont expects hungarian or eastern european stunners in bali but honestly i think there will be a lot of 7 s and 8 s and couple of scandinavian 9 s as the icing on the cake. But i think you should reconsider going and trying it for yourself, our experiences in one place are never the same.
