Help me pick: Taipei or Beijing

I need some help.

Me: 40, white, American. Not Tom Cruise but not ugly either.

Gaming skill: Pretty good. I do well with Asian women. I just be myself without trying to be something I'm not and they seem to like me.

I'm looking to spend a week or two in either Taipei or Beijing, but am having trouble deciding which.

My goal is basically to have fun and bang some non-Pros and drive around on a scooter, which is something I really enjoy doing.

I'm an on-line game guy. Never been good in clubs, especially at age 40.

I know the Philippines is the easiest for women, but I've never really found Filipinas to be very attractive. And I like the wild bush and most Filipinas shave down there.

My big requirement is reliable high speed internet since I work on-line.

So which would you chose: Beijing or Taipei?

But I hear the VPNs are pretty good at getting around that.

Gmail blocking is a big scare for me. If I lose Gmail, I'm toast.

Mainland girls would probably be a lot more open to dating an older guy, but then you'd have consider the god-awful pollution in Beijing.

Is it realistic to expect a 22 year-old semi attractive Chinese girl for a 40 year old white guy? In the Philippines and Vietnam I could do it (non Pros, too), but I have no mainland China experience.

Yea. I have friends in their late 30's that date early 20's girls here. I've also seen older white businessmen on dates with young Chinese women on occasion, obviously they have something going for them. But it's definitely not unattainable.

I'd probably lie about my age though.

Pollution is hit and miss, Beijing is terrible 33% of the time, bareable 33% of the time and has blue skies 33% of the time. The closer you are to summer and its pollution killing thunderstorms the better chance you have. Never been to Taipei but Beijing is good for online, saying that I'm in my 20's so not sure how it would translate. You need to target the right sites; OKCupid is good for english speakers and Badoo is worth having a look on too. The big chinese apps; Momo and Wechat are based on location and you will need to have some of the language to succeed on them but you could always get lucky. Another option is the dating section on the Beijinger, which has a terrible reputation in Beijing but I killed using it. Tons of girls read it (as the site is popular but the dating section is weird), mostly for a laugh and it is full of the biggest male creeps in the city. Set up the most normal ad you can, just mention meeting new people, being new to the city (hence unaware of the sites reputation), going for a drink and a few hobbies you enjoy, with good presentable photos which clearly show you are normal and not creepy and do not mention any funny business. You will stand out a mile for all the right reasons. There are of course other options but I would set up profiles on OKC, Badoo and thebeijiner right now, to get a flavour of what it's like.

Do you speak Mandarin?

There's a reason there's never been a thread here that starts out with, "In only 6 months, I fucked 100 girls in China/Taiwan."

East Asia is not the Philippines. [Image: wink.gif]

Thanks, these girls you met on-line, were they usually DTF on the 1st or 2nd date?

And if you did bang them, was there a ton of drama afterwards?

1st is tough but then again I never pushed it, I was living there so time was never an issue for me and I had no problem meeting lots and pipelining. 2nd should be good in most cases, by the 3rd if I hadn't initiated for whatever reason they would actually be asking to go back and check out mine.

I never had a huge ammount of drama. The only way they will get properly pissed is if they think you are building towards marraige and you dump her on her ass or cause her to majorly lose face by banging her friend or something. There are subtle ways to convey that you are not marraige material without blurting it out. Mention you only come on business and are looking to meet interesting people or whatever works for your particular shtick. Keep a cool aura at all times and if they do come out in a temper it will eventually boil over. Don't meet their emotional level if they get pissed, it will only make them worse. Of course there are ultra crazies out there but you should be able to spot them easily and weed them out before you meet them in person.

I believe meeting and banging girls is way easier in Beijing, both online and offline. But the pollution is absolutely terrible.. You should really consider that. If you are staying short time, then choose Beijing. Not sure about riding a scooter though, I don't even think it is allowed as a non Chinese. Internet will be fine if you choose the right VPN (probably pay for a good VPN)

Every time I go to Beijing and step outside the airport for the first time, my lungs will burn for a good hour. It's painful to know they're being ruined just as I walk around. This was mentioned in a different thread but get the app Tantan, which is the Chinese knockoff of Tinder. Tinder is used mostly by expats and white Western girls studying abroad.

This was used a lot when I was young and really into the underground scene. I would invite girls to come back to listen to Fugazi records.
This is the first time in recorded history that Fugazi was used to remove panties.

I attached a photo of Beijing taken today, which is pretty typical. The pollution there is bad but it depends on the day and time of year. To say your lungs burn every time you step off the plane is a bit of an embelishment. I lived there for years and never had a burning sensation in my lungs.

Nah dude, I'm there for a few weeks each summer and the rest of the year lets my lungs recover. I work out and don't smoke so it actually does. I was there at a pretty gnarly time last year; attached a photo as well for reference.

Of course, it gets much worse than the pic you have attached, even in the summer but I find it hard to beleive you have never been to Beijing when it wasn't polluted? How often do you travel there?

About once a year. I have seen blue skies, let's be clear. But I still have to acclimate to it every time I go.
