Fat People Hate on Reddit

Just discovered a gem on Reddit (didn't see this previously posted). Esteemed RVF members, check out the Fat People Hate subreddit:
http://www.reddit.com/r/fatpeoplehate/

It just pierced the top 500 subreddits. Just looking at a few posts, already cracking up:

"Target Shitlording". Also listed as "Bonus Fat Privilege" because apparently manatee comes cheaper than 'Dark Heather' [Image: lol.gif]

"Other names for fat acceptance"

She's DTF! Any takers? Tuth, maybe you can point the IRT in this direction now that you guys have a working relationship.

Seems like a good repository for some laughs.

I hate the bullshit surrounding Fat Acceptance. And the idea that Big is Beautiful and the rest of the shit that fat women come up with.

Yet at the same time. I don't get annoyed at fat people. It is like getting annoyed at retards or ugly people. They are invisible to me.

But society definitely does have a problem with fat people. Our gyms are the churches of our secular age and a fat person today is the equivalent of an 18th century Jesuit walking round a Catholic neighborhood.

If fat people annoy you - it means your SMV is low enough that you are tempted to go fatty fucking from time to time.

That is what should worry you.

Fat people annoy me because they require extra health care (driving up its cost and putting more people on medical welfare/leave), take up half my seat on planes, and make me want to gouge my eyes out, male or female. There are many more reasons but an exhaustive list would drive Roosh's hosting costs into the stratosphere.

Retards and ugly people didn't do anything to be in their predicament. Well, some ugly people did, but I'm assuming you meant born-ugly. Hell, I have a lot more respect for an ugly girl who keeps her body banging and does solid makeup work than I do for a naturally-beautiful girl who lets herself go. I'll give that ugly girl my time of day way before a hambeast. And to suggest that mental retardation has some parallel with self-induced obesity...

I'm not 100% sure, but doesn't Denmark have an extremely comprehensive socialist health care/welfare system? You realize your taxes are being poured into maintaining the clogged arteries and lazy lifestyles of these lard-assed yetis. Then again, you have only a 11.4% obesity rate. In the United States, it's a scale-crushing 33.9%. Maybe you're not fully appreciating the sheer magnitude (heh) of the problem in the US. 66.9% of the US is overweight or obese. That's two fucking thirds. Obesity is the largest health care problem facing my country today. It's worth getting annoyed over.

(Source for stats: http://obesity.procon.org/view.resource....ID=004371. The numbers are higher now but I can't be bothered to look for more recent shit for Denmark.)

The older you get - the more chance of getting cancer, Alzheimers and requiring full time care.

Old people (aka healthy people) ironically are more expensive to society than fat people.

Fat people require all that care more often and earlier and for a longer proportion of their lives than healthy people, Mortician.

There was a study recently showing that the life-span for the obese was actually LONGER than for fit people. The reason for it was shocking to me.

The obese are in the constant care of a doctor from a much earlier age. They need regular intensive screenings for all sorts of health conditions they contract at early ages. Because of this frequency of seeing doctors throughout their life, any life-threatening illness can more easily be detected.

So while a healthy person may begin to develop something like cancer and it may go undetected, a fat person constantly being tested for all sorts of things will get their cancer detected quicker, and be able to start treatment quicker.

So no, fat people aren't cheap to society, they are a huge drain, we are keeping them alive only through herculean efforts of pharma companies to combat their disgusting lifestyles.

wow - that is an interesting way of looking at things.

If you are always a little bit ill - it means you get an early heads up on when you are REALLY ill? It is pretty messed up. lol

Thanks for the info - that is a really odd fact to ponder! :-)

Everyone gets old. Unavoidable fact of life.

Not everyone has to be fat.

In short, don't make non-sequiturs.

I am pretty retarded sometimes.

I post too quickly.

This Fat People Hate site is amazing. I've only read one thread and I've found several new words for fat people. "Hamplanet" is a new must-use.

They should have mandatory fitness tests for any 'security' job - police, TSA, even mall cops. If someones incapable of running 20 yards they're not going to be much use in a real emergency are they?

Plus it would reduce healthcare costs for the employer. Plus better for society. etc etc. Lots of positives.

The problem here is that the bar just gets lowered more and more to accommodate certain types of people. It's not misogynist to say that women simply can't lift or physically perform at the same level. When certain people throw tantrums loud enough they just loosen physical and professional standards to allow those people in. It's not about merit at all you see the same thing across the board whether it be civil service, education, and now more and more in the private sector.

Female firefighters and police are a joke in the field. There is a need for both but only in limited specialized roles. I sure as hell would not want a woman protecting my ass. Aside from Gaddafi who was probably having group orgies with all his female bodyguards you don't see people in risky positions using female bodyguards either. Why does the U.S. employ female secret service agents to guard supposedly important people? It's nonsense. I don't care what kind of ninja academy alphabet agency credentials she has. Get me a well trained dude with field experience any day of the week.

That's just the thing, they aren't really there for the well being of society.

They are there to fulfill certain quotas so the government and or misc institution (universities) won't get into trouble from certain activist groups.

Oh, no - I meant if more jobs had minimum fitness requirements THAT would be better for society.

I agree with the ridiculousness of females in lots of these roles, though. 95% of the time a well built, fit, man would be better for any job thats even tangentially related to security.
