A waste of money?? Be sensible and put your money in a savings account??
OR
...A great accessory to pull girls. Ball out if you can. Any examples from those who would vote in this regard? Have you gotten girls as a result of your ride?

If you got it like then then get what you want. Don't get the whip based on how many broads you think you may or may not pull. A true playa can pull a broad with a bus pass. I've been a contractor working overseas for the past 9 years so i have a little money but everywhere I go, i tell people i'm broke ...80% of the time i still get girl.

Being that I'm money focused now, Id never buy a nice car. The nicer the car, the larger the liability.
However, a nice car couldn't hurt. You definitely don't need it to pull like a champ, but just like a good job, a nice car cant hurt a guy unless he's using it as his only value.
I'd get a BMW 1 series if I wanted to buy in the 30-40k range (the entry level price for legit "nice" I think). Its ironic that their sportiest car is their least expensive car. I love to drive, and so I couldn't spend money on something that was nice but wasn't the best that I could get in a driving experience. It also eliminates you buying a car just to impress people, and eliminates most other somewhat affordable luxury cars.
But, as oldnemesis would say, this is mental masturbation.

I don't think its worth it. (unless your rich and 40k-50k is nothing for you)
Better to work on your personality so you can pull girls in whatever car.
You will get looks and attention from girls but you still gotta be able to close them with game.
I have a friend that is too shy and too logical to get alot of girls. So he bought a nice BMW.
Now he is a shy, overly logical guy with a 500 dollar a month car payment. And, he doesn't get any more girls.
They notice him when he pulls into to the parking lot, but as soon as he gets out of his car and starts talking, the girls run away and laugh.
There are no shortcuts in learning Game.

I think having a nice car can be more of a deal closer than a girl attractor. Example, you pick up a couple girls and are walking out of a club, the valet pulls around a sweet ride. They automatically feel more comfortable than if you walk to self parking to get into a rape van. I paid 2500 for my Cougar and girls love to ride in it. I just got my FJ and it's the best vehicle I've ever owned. I love driving it. Get the car for you more than to impress girls, they're going to come and go anyway, but a nice ride can't hurt at all.

I'd definitely roll in that Cougar. The gas mileage on it probably sucks dick, though.

If you already have Game, then cars, clothes, jewelry, etc. are good for adding extra "spice" to your Game.
If you don't have any Game, then you got alot to work on besides just your car.
But having nice stuff never hurts I guess

Fisto-
"I paid 2500 for my Cougar "
Thing looks mint.
How much did you drop into it?
I think it was the '69 Cougar that I liked a lot. Detroit Muscle.
"I think having a nice car can be more of a deal closer than a girl attractor."
Agreed.
Same as a dope motorcycle.
Actually, it's kind of more "mid Game": you already have her opened, your ride shows that you are dope, now you need to close.
I never really stressed cars too much, because my "mid Game"/ "closing Game" have always been real strong.
For me, its all about "hook setting" ie Custom Suits, Smoking, Mastery of my Domain.
Once the hook is set, I am gaffing them in the boat no matter what.

The cougar is fun but you're right, the gas is something like 12 mpg right now, it's actually my daily driver.
The FJ is the best, those tires make it imo. I see them on the road with smaller tires and it just looks weird. I was unaware of it when I first started looking but, apparently they're made completely in Japan, every piece is assembled there as well so it's a very well built vehicle. I was kind of wondering what the implications of the tragedies in Japan will be since they can't manufacture them anymore. Seems like it will at least hold it's value....

G, the body was solid but the engine had an overheating problem that wound up costing a lot. I don't know shit mechanically so it took a while to find a mechanic I trusted. I just replaced the vinyl top and it looks great (350). A painter did the pin striping for 250 (he owned me a favor) but the base coat was fine. I've got documentation that the car has 36xxx original miles. My stepdad had one when I was a kid and I always wanted one since. The 69 thru 73 convertables were the best imo because they had sick styling with a cleveland motor. I had a 72 that I wrapped around a telephone poll in Newport Bch one drunken night.
But youre right, I think the car thing (and other material accessories) is good for mid game. Personally, I can't afford anything too expensive but, I probably wouldn't spend the money if I had it. Totally satisfied with my current rides.

If it runs as good as it looks that is a damn fine car. Not my style but, it's definately a head turner.

Fisto -
What year is yours? I am guessing a '76?
"I had a 72 that I wrapped around a telephone poll in Newport Bch one drunken night."
Worst place ever for drunk driving.
Surprised they didn't tar and feather you in that town for that.
Mixx-
Ha. That is some real Miami sh*t.
I could never roll a ride like that, too many rivals.
Dope though.
You sure you aren't moving powder?
"purchased this for a steal from a very desperate seller. Got this for $8,000USD"
Or loansharking?

Gman,
It's a 79 XR7
I actually got out of there and left the scene. No way was I sticking around. Minor slap on the wrist vs DUI.
