Probably green flag because it sounds like its what he needed. If he had started out ultra assertive and convinced of his own superiority, her bigging him up would probably be more harmful.
Although, it does sound like she's trying to get power over him- everyone is an idiot, we're the only people who know what we're doing.

She doesn't even know that she's doing it. I would wager that the lady pictured is so close to her narcissistic mother that she never really developed her own unique identity. This dynamic is not hard to find with Boomer mothers and early Gen-Y daughters. The girl has never had any boundaries and isn't about to let him have any either.

Odds-on chance that she's been in therapy in some capacity during her teens and feels entitled to be homeboy's life-coach and mentor. The moment dude tries to assert himself with her (asserting himself in any other context is encouraged) is the moment he brings on the female hellfire. Going by the picture alone, he's not doing the hover hand and he's not leaning in at an awkward angle. I'm going to judge him as bit of a dork since he's wearing a triple breasted suit and he has a slight lean on him (doesn't mean I wouldn't like him, fellows dorks know a dork).

Regardless, he probably really likes her and she finds something endearing in him.

I agree. This guy has a very weak frame: The job thing, it might've been true, but was a shit-test. He was there for years and never realized he was getting a raw deal?
