Widely touted is the flawed survey that returned a statistic that 1 in 5 college women will be sexually assaulted.
A freshly released DOJ study puts the number at not 20% but 0.61%.
Not one in 5 but closer to one in 200.

Note these are "sexual assaults", not rapes - a far broader category.
Another highlight: The sexual assault rate is LOWER for college students than the general population!
And one more comforting highlight: Like other rape statistics, the trend is downward. So much for an "epidemic".
