Scammers and crazy internet chicks.

I wanted to share 3 experiences with girls I have meet thru the internet, and to see if anyone has any similar experiences.

Girl 1: I meet her off a regular internet dating site. She says she is 22 and in college. We dated several times, including going to bars that are 21+. She shows a drivers license and gets in. On about the 3-4 date, we end up having sex. She then tells me she is really 17, and that if she tells the cops it is statutory rape. I am shocked by this. I ask her about the bars, and she claims to be using a fake ID. She then tells me to send her $500 via western union or she will go to the cops. At this point, I am pretty sure that she is just a scammer, but it does have me a little freaked out since there is no defense to statutory rape, even if she showed me a birth certificate, her mom vouched for her age, anything. I ended up blocking her calls and emails and never heard from her again.

Girl 2: I meet a girl online from Brazil. She tells me she is single. I google her and find her Facebook page where I learn she has a boyfriend and lives in a different city than she claimed. When I confronted her with this, she goes psycho. She actually calls my workplace and tells them I am harassing her. She notifies the dating site and makes the same claim. A representative from the dating site actually calls me! I convinced them the girl was crazy and told them I was going to file a police report if you doesn't stop slandering me. Fortunately, she stopped soon thereafter.

Girl 3: After 4 months of FB chat, I meet a 19 yo girl in Krakow Poland. We have one date, when I meet her and 2 friends at a club. Everything is cool. At the end of the night, the girl asks me to walk her home, which I did. We had a 30 sec mutual kiss at the end of the date, and I leave. She posts some pics of us on FB from the evening. The next day we are supposed to meet to sushi for dinner. When she never calls, I ask her why and she says I am deviant for kissing her on the first date. I told her she was crazy. The next day, she tells me she has contacted the Police and that they would be coming after me for treating her so bad. She then threatens to call my employee to complain too. At this point, I just block online and offline, convinced that she is just emotionally unstable, and so far nothing else has occurred.

Has anyone else had similar experiences with scammers and crazy chicks from the internet?

Which country did you meet girl 1? It's so funny cause nearly all the scammers I met use western union to extort money from their victims

I had a couple of friends that asked me for advice about scammers. Both guys met women, and had sex with them. The women later told them to either pay them $500 or they would tell the cops that they were raped. Friend #1 payed up because he was married. He only told me after she came back for more money. I gave both friends the same advice. Tell these girls that you went to the police and confessed because you were afraid of being arrested at home or work, and that the detectives that they assigned to the case wants you ("the victim") to come in and give a statement. I even went as far as to get the number for the Special Victims Unit (sex crimes). The female scammers played dumb, and acted like they didn't know who was calling or texting them, and they never heard from these bitches again.

I think part of that is to avoid the US Postal service, which is then a federal crime.

I had a girl from POF come over and we fuck for a few hours.
Turns out she was 16 not 22 like her profile said. Over text she threatens me by saying i'm going to jail for statutory rape because she's not 18.

I tell her to get lost and fuck off or i'm going to the cops.

The bitch was so fucking dumb.
In Canada, the entire country, the age of consent is 16. Lying about her age will win her no points in court.

Send her $500 by WU? She is probably from Nigeria or the Phillies.

It's often a good practice to have the girl tell you her age by written form (chat, email, message, etc.)

She told me her age (over 21). In the USA, that is no defense to statutory rape. There is absolutely no defense to statutory rape in the USA. Even though I thought she was lying and trying to scam me, it did freak me out for a while.

Wait, even if you go to a bar, she uses her fake ID to get in, and you have no reason to suspect otherwise? Realistically at that point there is no reason for you to think that she is under 21.

Statutory rape is a funny one. I'd contact a lawyer for his 2 cents. It's different by state.

OP, how did the second girl find out where you work before you even met? It looks like you share too much information about yourself.

^this.

I don't even tell my real name to my dates before I meet them. This avoids the FB drama, etc.

Yes - i have learned my lesson and trying not reveal too much info. I am sort of well know and easy to google if you know a few things about me, so it isnt difficult. I just recently got a second cell phone to use exclusively for internet dating and set up alternative FB, whatsapp and other accounts to try to protect myself more.

Quick answer is no. Never had ANY experiences like that and have met quite a few girls off CL - CL of all places. Don't say so much about yourself. And if you don't want to outright lie about your name make up a new nickname - like my friends call me Viper (LOL - or something ). Don't divulge the things that lead via search to your identity.

This all assumes you are only looking to fuck, not date with goal being LTR. Harder to not tell thing to somebody who you actually want to date....

Yeah it's fucked up, but the only defense to statutory rape is that it never happened. The law in my state specifically says that not knowing her age, or the victim lying to you about her age is not a defense.

Which means even if you have texts of her saying that she's 21, you have proof that you looked at her drivers license which happened to be fake, or she used a fake id to get into the 21+ club you met her at; the judge won't even let you present that evidence to the jury,

I say let both sides present the jury whatever evidence they have, and then let the jury decide. That's what they're there for.

Politicians passed laws like this because they're afraid of jury nullification. Eg the fact that juries will find men innocent even though they technically broke the law, because the law as currently written is unjust. God forbid a jury of your peers decides your fate instead of pandering politicians and lobbyists. No we can't have that!

Other crimes where minors show such kind of forethought and intent - the court will see them as an adult. Funny how they won't do that for statutory rape allegations.

If a girl has the malice and forethought to construct an environment where she is presented and easily believed to be of-age of consent (fake ID's, documented correspondence, etc.), and then turn around and press charges of rape after-the fact then she should be seen as an adult, charges should be dropped on the defendant, and she should be charged with slander and fraud (if suing for damages).
