As an aspiring Asian player, I'm starting to find Asian-specific thread redundant.

In my earlier days at RVF I asked a lot of questions about improving game as an Asian, but now I've realized that it's more about improving game and yourself in general.

I look at myself and I list all the weaknesses in my game: height, accent and a lack of experience and calibration in general. It's simply so easy to link height and accent to the fact of being Asian so that you have something to blame. Every time I thought I screwed up because I was Asian I could actually trace it back to me being not interesting enough, not attractive enough or shitty logistics.

While culturally there is a disadvantage of being Asian, that's simply because most Asian guys are either:

-short (this can hurt but not as much as you think)
-beta provider
-wimpy
-skinny fat
-have accent
-can't hold a conversation
-fuck-boring life
-shitty style
-culturally retarded

I've met many cool charming Asian players and they have no problem getting white girl. Actually some of the hottest white girls I've seen are with an Asian guy, one guy is a dentist and great conversationalist and a fencing champion. The other guy is tall, jacked and a dance god. Shit I myself am getting a lot better with white girls.

You will ALWAYS have to work harder as an Asian guy to get non-asian girls IF you are in a white country but that's simply how it is, people like to be with someone similar to them. Try going to Korea as a white guy to get some quality Korean girls, it's not as easy as you think. In Vietnam the top quality girls are always with their top quality Viet guys. Shit even in USA it's the same.

I’m not sure it’s worth bunching all Asians together – Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, Koreans etc are very different.

In Southern California, there’s a lot of Chinese immigrants, and in my experience the list above is the same for the average Chinese-American and Chinese FOB, except for the accent part. There’s a couple of alpha Chinese-Americans around, but the vast majority are not.

Some of this shit is self-inflicted – I work with a Chinese-American guy whose son is a few months old. One of my white colleagues asked him what kind of sports he would like his son to play at school – he said tennis because the other sports are too physical. I didn’t say anything but I thought “what a fucking idiot” on the inside. This guy was born and raised in a mostly Chinese area just east of LA. He doesn’t hang out with white people and the darkest his social circle gets is Filipino.

I also know a FOB Chinese couple who refuse to live in Chinese areas – they have 2 sons and they don’t want their sons growing up around only Chinese. They believe that because they live in America, their kids should be able to interact with all races.

We can already tell who whose kids will end up more alpha.

I'm not east-Asian, I'm Indian, but for some reason Indians get bunch together with East-Asians in the US - I think the issues faced are very different, so I'm not sure why they are grouped together.

I had a look around and I feel that the reddit is bit too whiny and negative. There’s guys complaining about Asian women dating non-Asian men. They shouldn’t complain about that and work on improving themselves.

It's not that these characteristics are shameful inherently, it's demeanor. An RVFer can change those traits into effective sniper/exotic game. Anybody can do anything as long as you say it with arrogance. It is an inferno that goes with a gusto. A girl who's attracted won't give head if I ask " Can you give this a sucky sucky?". But if you shove it in her face and pull her head down, she tingling not from the penis, but your audacity to demand it.

In general, Asians shouldn't self-segregate because these stereotypes perpetuate the process. It's Plato's Allegory: leave the cave to absorb the sun's essence, then return to the cave to liberate your fellow man.

Whether you choose to return and liberate is your choice. I've found most of my old friends refuse to see the sun, so I just monopolize the Asian market. My friend has been orbiting a girl for two years, bringing her food and Starbucks frequently for study sessions. She just blew me two nights ago, while she told him she was studying.
