More female attention whoring at it's finest.

I'm not posting any pics of these fat whales, you're welcome.

I'm a bit on the fence about feeding buzzfeed more views but:

"Thanks to the universal popularity of selfies and the body-positive community’s use of social media, a new hashtag has real women sharing their bikini bodies in a bold and beautiful new way: #Fatkini"

The more our culture perpetuates this fat acceptance and ultra-PC bullshit, the more my brain just turns into pudding and it all just goes in one ear and out the other.

Get out of America.
At least in Europe, even if fat acceptance exists, fatties do not have as much arrogance.

Right ? This is literally the stupidest thing I've seen today, and I've only been up for 3 hours.

Seriously ? This isn't even about weight....once again it's about attention whoring, just like the #feministsareugly tag.

But my god, when will people stand up and say, no, you're fucking fat, it isn't healthy and you need to lose weight ?

Like you said it's PC BS I can't fucking stand it.

Losing weight is hard.

Self delusion is easy.

Guess which option appeals more to fatties?

No. GOD NO. OH GOD MY EYES. IT'S LIKE LOOKING INTO THE EYE OF MARA ("your destiny now lies beyond the Gates of Doom"); I love Disneyland, so sue me.

Barely anything worth doing is ever easy. They've gotten so ingrained with this fat acceptance bullshit that they pretty much say "Why should I have to do anything? The WORLD should change to accommodate WHO I AM!" It sickens me. I don't particularly want to look at your cellulite flappin' in the breeze!

Chris Pratt nailed the weight loss and healthy mentality vs fat, in this interview.

Quote:Quote:

How his life has improved:
"I like clothes now. I have more energy. I sleep better. My sex drive is up. Blood’s flowing. I’m less susceptible to impulse. I’m in a different mode. When I was way out of shape, the idea of using whitening strips on my teeth seemed terrible. I have to do that every day? I’ll never do it. What you want is instant results when you’re out of shape. You want your teeth whitened in 45 minutes with the use of lasers. But when you’re in shape, you know it’s the result of doing a little bit every day. Moments aren’t just moments. A moment might be a week or a month. So instead of ‘Boy, I’d love to eat this hamburger right now,’ I’m considering a little further into the future. I’m thinking, I eat that hamburger and that’s 1,200 calories, and I’m gonna work out tomorrow and lose 800 calories. I may as well eat a salad here, still do that workout, and then I’m actually making progress.”

More new realities:
“You have to eat protein. You can’t have hashbrowns, or burgers, or anything fried. You can’t have carbs. You have to work out five times a week. But I can do 40-inch box jumps now. Action-hero physical stuff. Jumping that high feels really good. You see a giant hillside, and you think, I wanna get up that. You see a building, you think, I could climb that. When you get in shape, the world around you becomes things you wanna jump on and climb up.”

The photog tells him to pose like James Bond:
"Bond. Gary Bond. No relation to James. I own a family plumbing company.”

The headline: "Women Are Sharing Gorgeous Pictures Of Their Real Bodies With The #Fatkini Hashtag."

As many commenters point out, calling these chubsters "real women" is an insult to all other women -- you know, the ones that are in shape.

But there is a bigger problem, I think. Using that term gives the impression that obesity is somehow the default position for women. In other words, women may go through a period of thinness, but eventually their "real bodies" will shine through. Or that women who get in shape are somehow phony, or faking it, or pulling the wool over everyone's eyes.

He who controls the language controls the way we think, and this is Orwell's "newspeak" in its worst form. It's a way to redefine the argument by perverting what words mean.

I think this wording is more insidious and damaging than those pics. Anyone can see the pics and go "ew." But a lot of people will swallow (no pun intended) the "real bodies" message unwittingly.

And don't get me started on the word "gorgeous" in the headline. If any headline ever defined everything that's wrong with new media, this is it.

^^^I'm always five minutes behind you.

I saw that and what immediately stood out was "real women" and "gorgeous".

I bet they all have a thyroid problem too.

There's got to be a way to troll these people.

As I said yesterday (yes, I'm quoting myself):

Quote:Quote:

It really irritates me because it is trying to force a beauty aesthetic on society that no one really wants through demonization. But it further promotes an outright lie that it is healthy. These people are no better than those who lie about a product being safe even if it contains a hazardous materials. Asbestos and lead are fine, otherwise you are an asbestos/lead shamer!

Either we could promote something that is dangerous as healthy, and attack anyone who criticizes us as a shamer.

Or posting dick pics, and anyone who criticizes us is just a misandrist who is body shaming us.

I'm sure someone far more clever than me can come up with something that will get the point across that obesity is unattractive and unhealthy, because logic and facts (not to mention the power of sight) don't seem to be working.

I really dig the way the popular mindset equates fat with real.

"Oh, real women" like "fit women" are all fake.

So this broad posted this in the comments:

Quote:Quote:

You can accept how your body looks like right now without saying that it is or isn't healthy or that you don't wish to change it. You don't know everyone's medical diagnoses and everyone that is severely obese does not have diabetes, high cholesterol and etc. You're making a whole lot of assumptions based off looks is the point.

That cognitive dissonance tho.

Every woman I know that lost 30+ lbs turned into a nympho with one solitary purpose of making up for all the sex they were missing.
Our country is being destroyed by obesity and stupidity.

Can good looking women troll effectively? I am sure there are some good looking women on those news sites and women-only places that look at these women and think; "what a fucking hog". I do not believe for one minute every woman looks at these people and think, "oh my she is gorgeous as her rolls cover the one below it, like an ice cream sundae".

Empowering these women to be hogs via these sites would lead to less women for competition of the men they desire.

Not outraged. I have nothing but sympathy and pity for these girls. They are perennial losers in the female competition for top cock.

Look, will these whales be able to find a husband one day? Probably. But it'll be some John Goodman-looking motherfucker, with the rolls of fat to match hers. Fat girls are, for the large part (ha), invisible to the top 5% of men. Fuck em.

The problem though is that these women think they deserve a 6ft tall, jacked, 6 figure income man.

Women want to hold men to such a high standard but they think they're own mediocrity is perfectly acceptable. The disillusionment keeps getting worse and worse.

Think? Yes. Will they actually get that 6ft, good-looking dude who has his shit together? My money says no. The fat girls I've come across in the US have typically hooked up with similar guys: out of shape, bad hygiene, and average in looks/personality.

I think we tend to exaggerate how well these girls do with men. There are outliers here and there but for the most part they're getting what they deserve.

Who the fuck is making money off this? I hate sounding like some left-wing conspiracy theorist but I really can't help but wonder if the big food and sugar companies are behind some of this.

We could care less about if they will find a husband.
The problem is their cockblocking. The fact that they will increase the attitude of thinner, healthier girls. Their bad influence on younger and fitter women
