This is another pic of his wife. I dunno, I have a hard to time judging her looks. Her style is so weird and funky that it I don't know what to make of her actual attractiveness. I can't even tell her ethnicity. In this photo she could be E. Indian, and in the ones from the wedding she could pass for Argentine. She's skinny as hell and that's a turnoff to me, but some guys actually dig that. I don't think her face is ugly per se, though nothing steller either. If she had normal long hair, without those pink tips, dressed in a style I dig, and had some more meat on her bones, I think she'd be ok.

does anyone know what ethnicity david d himself is? israeli/persian/armenian?

He's Jewish but that could be a lot of different ethnicities.

The article in the OP says he's "getting married". Would be funny if he was setting everyone up for an april fool's joke. Doubtful but you never know.

Oops, I obviously wrote this WAY too early in the morning. Was thinking april fool's was coming up soon, but obviously not.

Mixx, what's your rationale, if you don't mind me asking? What's your end game plan? What is appealing about being single at 70?

I tred the marriage thing and I didn't like it.

Some of the things I like on this board is the idea of going against the grain. Not allowing society to dictate what we do. I have always felt that way myself even though the pressure sometimes won.

Marriage is just another thing you are pressured to do. If you don't get married then there is something wrong with you. For some reason, people think it is better to get married and divorced.

Staying single doesn't not mean you will be lonely. Look at the divorce rate. I would bet it continues to rise if people continue to get married.

There are plenty of people that will be single for the rest of our lives. I enjoy spending time with people but get bored after awhile. I prefer to date and continue meeting new people to replace the old.

You won't be alone just because you're single. I found that a limiting belief that a lot of people have. I know I was one of them until I got married. Now I am saved! haha

Attractiveness matters very little in the long-term relationship. Those who use it as a main criteria in selecting their long-term partner usually split apart in the first two years of relationship. Check news, even those who married super-hot models still cheat on them.

What kind of attractiveness? Did you read this recent Roissy post

I am 36, and I do not see myself slowing down. If anything, I run 10 miles a day (5 days per week), and keep myself in shape to take-on the physical challenges of running game, and walking for miles approaching women on the street.

I am married to game, a legal wife would be my mistress!

Mixx, what's your rationale, if you don't mind me asking? What's your end game plan? What is appealing about being single at 70?

I just don't believe that you have to have a legal document to live with a woman and share a life, have kids, or man-up and raise your kids and put them through college without having the law involved in forcing you to do so. This whole marriage thing according to a documentary I saw many months ago on the History channel was used to PUNISH men for being bachelors. They had to pay more taxes for being unwed - umm..we still do today!

I can easily, if I wanted to, be dedicated to a woman by choice, but never because I have a contract that will severely punish me if I am not happy and decide to leave the relationship.

Hey, I saw my grandaddy die a VERY happy man in his 70's. He did what he wanted, when he wanted and with whom he pleased. He was also very healthy, and would go on camping trips. I never really saw or heard of him being lonely as he had plenty of friends, family and even lovers.

I think that David Deangelo might be gay. His wife looks like a dude and she looks like him. I'm not critical of guys taste in women provided that the women actually look female.

There have been rumors that a lot of guys in the PUA community are in fact closet homos. It makes sense if you think about it.

My prediction is that Mixx will get married when he is 40 very likely to a Hispanic woman..real talk..

My cousin was steady pimping all the way through and as he got older..he got tired and finally got married with a hand picked woman..of course she wasn't American..because he thinks american females (of any race) have crap values.

Some of the women on this thread http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-3335.html I find unacceptably unattractive. At least as far as being a "10" goes.

Its all about taste, as well as experience. Fuck enough attractive women and looks alone get boring for anything but one night stands. Whereas for a one night stand, that's all that matters. I would settle for a less than a perfectly attractive woman for an above average character/personality. IF I was getting married.

David D isn't gay. And he has the experience to know what he wants in a woman, and he has the skill to be able to then make a choice out of a wide range of them. I would look at his choice as an example of what an above average player chooses when he settles down. Although, its hard to know what her personality is; if she isn't from the west, she probably has a feminine personality and character which beats any western woman's by a mile.

And in that first pic, her body looks like its a 10. Smoking hot. A lot better than the average body of the big booty girl carrying extra weight who often gets fetishized in the west. And with a simple nose job she'd be a lot more competitive in the looks department.

I personally think that some of these PUA gurus, and apparently David Deangelo in particular, are like a lot of basketball coaches that are phenomenal when it comes to coaching................but are at the most, average players when it comes to actually playing.

If you are going to claim to be a Master PUA, you need to be able to atleast settle down with an 8. That woman is a 5 on her BEST day. lol

I agree with this part. That's the first thing I thought when I saw the pictures. She looks like a female version of him. In fact, if she was a guy, she would be quite good looking.

Can you elaborate? Used to punish men in what country / society?

What do you mean 'we still do today'?

Is this documentary online somewhere?

I am doing research on this for a book so it would be interesting to me.

I dunno if I buy the punish the bachelor theory. I think it has more to do with creating a sanctified family unit for rearing children. Because in all cultures, traditionally people are expected to start having children once married. That's why gay marriage doesn't exist in any traditional culture anywhere in the planet. It was the West that defined marriage as being primarily an expression of love and devotion, rather than creating families and children. It was also used(and still is in some places) as a way to bond different tribes/families/clans together in alliances.

The IRS goes easier on married couples than they do on singles today - that alone is punishment to me. I'm not a tax law expert, but I just filled out my taxes for last year, ,and immediately saw a dent when filing single not married.

Man, I wish I remembered the show...I'll dig around to see if I can find it. It was one of those late night, can't sleep type shows. Where they showed how people payed for wars and taxes to the throne in Roman eras.

It s true that laws favor marriages. This is because there was an epidemic of broken families in the early 1900s (particularily after the first world war). Men were sleeping with women all over the place and knocking them up at an incredible rate. This includes both men and women married and single. It became costly for the government, so they tightened up family laws and tax laws to make it more favorable to keep marriages in tact and children supported by parents instead of the state.

This is only if you make less than 100K a year and your wife doesn't make any significant money. If she does, you will lose money. Last year my accountant told me we're losing around $10K a year - around $4K we're paying extra in taxes (mostly state taxes) and $6K comes from being not eligible to various tax deduction/perks because the cutoff limit for deduction/perk for married couple is typically lower than doubled limit for a single person.

What if she's a 7 but is outstanding in bed, outstanding in the kitchen, is really cool, and has lots of dough?

Or would all the perks bump her to an 8?

While I would agree that the woman in question not attractive, has nobody given thought to the fact that she might be very agreeable and easy to get along with? I mean, legally married, once the looks (eventually) fade, you're stuck with the personality you married. Maybe DeAngelo married her in part because of her personality?

Food for thought.

I don't really care someone marries an ugly girl. That can be any man's choice. If it makes you haaaaappppy....

BUT, this guy, teaching others how to pick up girls, who himself only marries this dog... I can only think of all the men he's been scamming for years.

If you wanna be happy for the rest of your life
Never make a pretty woman your wife
So from my personal point of view
Get an ugly girl to marry you
