NZ leader of the opposition: I'm sorry for being a man

It's election year in New Zealand. The National party is polling at 56% while the Labour party is at 23%. What's the solution for the leader of the Labour party? Apologise for being a man.

Here are his opening words at a feminist forum.

"Can I begin by saying I'm sorry," he said.

"I don't often say it. I'm sorry for being a man right now, because family and sexual violence is perpetrated overwhelmingly by men against women and children.

"So the first message to the men out there is: wake up, stand up and man up and stop this bullshit!"

Of course, he fails to mention that women hit their male children twice as much as their female children based on US studies. He fails to mention that mothers are twice as likely to hit their children compared to men.

Dickhead.

Just another WK. If he had any idea how some sort of apology would go down with women he wouldn't have apologised. The men of the country now see him as a problem and will vote for someone else.

Its a good way to kill your political aspirations.
