'You know what it is? I think it’s confidence,' the hitmaker argued. 'I do not lack confidence. I’ve been able to do what I do for many years and I think I’m good at it.

'And that confidence and just being a good person overall, I don’t rely on my looks to stand out.'

'It’s all in the details,' he added.

Anthony was previously married to Jennifer Lopez - they wed in 2004 and divorced in 2012.

The former couple share six-year-old twins Emme Maribel and Maximillian, in addition to Anthony's three other children from previous relationships.

Why do guys still insist that looks enables you to get top lizards? As long as he is not deformed facially (and even that is a toss up still favouring the man), a man can get any lizard. The bottom line is, social status enables men to get the top lizards. His confidence might stem from the fact that he knows he can move well in bed and other places and at the bottom line, lizards are sexually attracted to men who they believe can fcuk them very well. Primarily being attracted to man for his face is a fleeting teenage thing. Women want men. I hate to be a pessimist, but let's not overreach here. I'm certainly not hating. But Marc Anthony's confidence comes from being in the top 0.0001% of what he does, and being a living legend. I think this is a very interesting topic to discuss/ debate. I wonder the samee thing, if I was a mega rich latin hearthrob with millions of dollars and notches of top celebs I'd walk around like I was the shit as well.

That said its kind of a what came first chicken or the egg type deal. Is Marc Anthony confident because he's rich, dresses well, has everything money can buy and has notches of top celebs or did he get to be where he is because he as a natural confidence?

I suppose it can't hurt to be rich and accomplished, that has to give you a bit of extra ego and confidence. That said I don't think you could ever rise to that level of fame without having some natural confidence.

I thhink people disover tehmselves and their confidence at different points in their lives. We hear about models and celebs who were dorky before becomming famous however at the same time we often see videos of celebs as kids and many of them even as like 3yo or 5 yo kids had that natural charisma, confidence and showmanship that others dont possess even at such a young age.

Why do you guys take what celebrities say at face value? They could piss on your leg and tell you it's rain. Everything they say to the media is a calculated act. when it's not, you have a shitshow like Myley Cyrus, and most celebrities know they're not famous enough to pull that off. Marc Anthony is not a good-looking guy, but at this point of his life, he has the resources to look good.

The outfit he has on in the interview is completely tailored, he also has a professionally done haircut that fits the shape of his face -- he's also shaved the beard off which gives him a "younger" look.

Looks are incredibly important in pickup, but other factors come into play when it's about being in relationships, he's rich and can provide for any woman, so the fact that he's not a naturally good-looking guy is completely irrelevant because of his other characteristics.

Small example: This dude I work with is in his mid 40s, balding in a really unflattering way, and has the facial features of a hairless rodent.
