Cuba: Internationplayboy's Experience

Got my first lay, no pay. It was some girl who grew up on an island off the coast. It was only her and her friends 3rd time off the island. We got pulled over 4 times by the cops that night. Long, crazy story I'll get into once I'm in the DR and Internet isn't $8 an hour. I also got a number last night. It's my last day in Cuba today, gonna miss a lot of things and am also looking forward to having a access to a lot of other things. Life isn't easy in Cuba. I'm gonna retract my first statement saying that getting laid in cuba isn't easy unless you pay. What I should say is it's not easy to find the right places to get laid when you first get here.

The trick to getting laid in Cuba is to stay away from the bars and clubs to meet girls who are not pay for play, hang out in the main squares or malecons well away from the tourists and, when you are walking back to your place or her place, walk at least 5 metres apart.

That's somewhat accurate, but certain clubs and music venues are fine for meeting girls who aren't p-4-p. The first girl I banged I met on the malicon, but it was just luck of the draw. From what I hear casa de la music in centro has a big p4p scene, but the one in marimar didnt appear to. Another good spot I went was called something like cafe cantant. It was right by plaza de revelucion. There were no hookers there. Really great locals scene. Also, if you travel to smaller towns (like viñales) there isn't really p4p because it's so small, the girls would get caught.

My buddy went back to the states before me and he insisted they didnt stamp his passport on the way out but they did anyways. He never declared that he went to cuba, they never looked at any of his stamps and got through just fine. I'm wondering if I should not declare I went. Only thing is if they do see, you're breaking the law by not declaring where you went. I spoke with my mom earlier, she thinks I should declare I went there.

Sorry for not mentioning this earlier. My passport wasn't stamped upon entry. I don't know whether its due to a different in entry points or not being an American.
The place you mentioned is Cafe Cantante. 10 CUC entrance for tourists on certain nights and 1-2 CUC for students with dollar beers. However, its a matinee place and only popular on afternoons. You'd have to have someone tell you when to go. Casa de la musica miramar by contrast is fine perhaps in the afternoon and when theres an operation guard in affect but I wouldn't recommend it typically for night time.
It's nice to see a poster recognize that theres a ton of normal people here. It's a small minority who aren't. You seem to be just breaking the surface now. Personally I see JJ Roberts is correct in certain places. For Habana though i'd beg to differ as it's very gay-centric on the malecon. Cienfuegos though is different.
It's good to here you enjoyed Cafe Cantante, I've found it okay on Tuesday / Wednesday afternoons depending on the week but quality is very low compared to elsewhere.
Where did you end up locating? In Vedado?

Yeah, I went for a special event to cantante. It went on all night til 3 in the morning (pretty sure it was a Tuesday night). I met some locals while I was in Havana and they took me there. One is living in the states now, was in Havana to make some music. The guys are big into the music scene there so they showed me a good time. I was at casa de musica in marimar for the 6-9 show. Those guys showed me a great time out there. The last night they hooked me up with a friend of theirs. Super cool chick. They also introduced my friend to a hot ballerina chick. These dudes knew their shit. When we went to cantante, everyone was saying what's up to them. They seemed to be pretty well known around Havana. One of them had a different girl every night, and he was in Havana with a German girl that was visiting him. The German didn't party, so he'd chill with her during the day and early night. Then when she went to sleep he'd get other girls.
If anyone needs a place to stay when they go to Havana (casa particular), I have a great recommendation. It's the same kid I'm talking abouts sister. She could probably put you in touch with my boy too, he'll show you a good time. Her brother probably won't be there though, but his friend is just as cool.
I'll probably write a little bit about my story in a few after I get some food. Think I'll take it easy here in santo Domingo for the night, I walked around all day, feeling kind of tired. But Havana is a great city. It's just hard to figure out.

No, just left yesterday. Havana is great man. 4 days there will be tough though. It's not an easy city. I highly recommend you stay at this girls house. It's right in the middle of centro and she's mad cool. Bringing back girls is no problem at all. It's $25 a night. Nice house, but small.

Rcraig33hb, are you American? There's a good chance they'll stamp your passport. My friend got by it going in but out they wouldn't let him through without the stamp. He said he made it very clear and asked a bunch of times but no luck.
On my way out of customs I asked. "Why are you stamping American passports?" The girl said, "we stamp everyone's passport." I replied, "I have plenty of American friends who have been to cuba and they've never had their passports stamped up until April. You know it's illegal for us to come here, now I'm gonna have problems when I get back." She just looked at me, shrugged, and said nothing. I look at her, "so you just don't care." "Nope." Fucking bitch. I didn't even bother asking her not to stamp it as it had already been stamped. The only thing I did ask is that she'd put the stamp on the same page as the entry stamp.

For sure. I spent 3 nights in guanabo when I was there. The casa we stayed at was alright, but we pissed the owner off because we brought a bunch of girls back with some of our cuban buddies and they smoked some weed there and she knew. I probably won't go back to that casa needless to say. But playa del este is legit. What part are you staying in?
Sounds like you know your way around out there though. But definitely let me know if you want her number for when you're in Havana. She lives right down the street from casa de la musica. For a newbie in Havana it's a win win because you help her out and she will show you a good time. Even though you sound like you know what's up, it's not a bad option as it's in a good location, clean house (though small), and zero problems with bringing girls back. Shit, she tells me she even finds some of her clients girls if they're into p4p. Also, she cooked free dinner for me two nights in a row. Not sure if that's something she usually does, but it was cool.

Alright fellas, sorry for no substantial updates yet. I intend on giving a full breakdown on the DR and Cuba this week.
Regarding my stamp. I went through customs and immigration. I didn't declare that I went to Cuba, and they never checked my passport for stamps. It was easy, no problems at all. Though I have seen them flip through before. Same with my buddy. He got stamped leaving the country. He didn't declare he went, they never checked his stamps.

Damn! you were in Cuba? You should have said something. I'm here bored out of my mind myself with some lame study abroad people who don't like gaming girls. My experience with the stamp was different since I went with a "study" I'll update my experiences also once I get back to the states.

I left cuba the 22nd of May and spent a few weeks in the DR. I liked cuba, but only for short term. It's a strange place.
