(Legal) Drugs Around the World

Marijuana use is tolerated in the Netherlands, indeed. You are allowed to keep up to five plants at home, while you can carry as much as five grams.
Coffee shops, the stores that sell weed and hash, do not abide these laws though.

The previously mentioned 80 euros/gram is bullshit. Tourist prices in Holland are around 12 euros per gram, while local coffeeshops have prices of around 7 euros per gram. Pre-rolled joints are about 3 euros.

What most people don't know, is that xtc is also somewhat tolerated in the Netherlands. For example, you can carry up to one pill and the government runs agencies which will test your xtc pills for you. After you bring in some pills at for example, a desk at a festival, they will then report ti you the contents and strength of the pill and return it to you.

Tourists are still allowed in coffeeshops. Only in border towns people have to apply for a coffeeshop pass in order to prevent European drug trafficking.

Mushrooms are legal in the gili islands (Indonesia). I didn't try them but if you're interested and you see anything that offers a trip to the moon, that's what it means.

Don't know about other parts of indo, and definitely wouldn't recommend traveling with anything.

In Singapore I went looking for OTC sleeping pills for my flight out of there, and it was a no go. Need a script for anything.

Definitely do not mess around with drugs in Asia.

What's the deal with mushrooms in Amsterdam? I've heard everything from legal or legal in certain forms (tea?), to completely illegial

Thanks for the info.

Anyone know the deal with peyote in Mexico? Apparently there's a big "peyote tourism" scene but I'm curious how difficult it actually is to come by.

Mushrooms are illegal when dried. Fresh mushrooms are still legal though, as are magic truffles.

What about Hydrocodone (The Precious)? Is there anywhere that's legal?

Never mind, I don't want to know.

Not trying to derail the thread, but this is too crazy to believe. Arizona had a state law (just struck down by the courts) that anyone who tested positive for trace amounts of inactive marijuana metabolites — which can stay in one’s system for up to six weeks after the last use of marijuana — was automatically guilty of Driving Under the Influence.

Meanwhile . . . . in California, Democratic Assemblymember Jim Frazier introduced a bill this year to criminalize sober driving based on trace amounts. You just can't make this stuff up. One can only ask: "Are these legislators on drugs?"

On a serious note dudes, if you do happen to be in Colorado and want to take some souvenirs home, here's some things to know:

* It is illegal to possess marijuana at DIA. However, DIA has made 0 arrests for possession since legalization on January 1, 2014. I believe that they give you ample chance to surrender your contraband.
* Other airports may be OK with it. I've heard that for example, Aspen doesn't care. However, most flights connect through DIA, so then you're under DIAs juridstiction.
* Neighboring states routinely run checkpoints at the border, stopping cars looking for marijuana contraband. I've heard Nebraska is particularly aggressive, but every state bordering CO is known to do this.
* If you're in Colorado, you can't smoke anything in any public venue (Pepsi Center, Mile High, Red Rocks, Fiddler's Green, or even a bar).
* Most of the action is in edibles and especially vaporizers. I don't know for sure, but I think the MJ oil might be easier to get past a checkpoint / TSA screening, since you can't tell the difference from the legal nicotine versions.

There's khat (also called miraa) in Kenya. Quite a pleasant stimulant, kind of like Modanafil but more gradual because you chew it. Good for late night partying. Sold in kiosks, usually a banana leaf hanging in front of the kiosk means they have it.

Also available in Ethiopia.

I really can't speak highly enough of a drug from Asia called "Kratom".

Kratom is a member of the coffee family and in small amounts it acts kind of like a stimulant. Think of having several cups of coffee without the jitters and zero comedown.

In larger amounts Kratom feels almost EXACTLY like a mid-level opioid painkiller. Think hydrocodone or oxys - just not as powerful as oxys. I've been using the stuff for several years now and I absolutely love it. Quite euphoric and dreamy.

I have no affiliation with this site but they have the best product in my opinion. http://www.musynergetics.com

I like Kratom so much I've been considering starting an online company selling the stuff.

Good Looking Loser (this month's sponser at Return of Kings) also runs a Kratom website and did a very detailed, in depth article about Kratom over at his website. He talks about all the various strains, Red, Green, White Leaf, etc.

If anyone has any questions, let me know. Kratom is great and I think it would definitely help with one's game because, to me at least, it reduces anxiety and puts you at ease and in a great mood.

I hope the Good Looking Loser guy will chime in and verify everything I am saying.

Your first question, where mushrooms are legal. I believe they are legal in the Netherlands. I've also heard that they are pretty much legal in Laos, and can be bought at any shop, along with opium, weed, and meth.

In Cambodia, marijuana is basically legal and you can buy it at many shops. They have "Happy Pizza" places where you can get pizzas that are topped with weed.

As for where modafinil is legal, I heard you can buy it in India pretty easily. Just download the Tor browser, get a bitcoin, and buy modafinil from Silk Road. Silk Road is the most reliable place to get Modafinil, unless you're living in America and you can get it easily with a prescription.

I just got my Modafinil order in the mail a week ago and the stuff is over-rated. It gives you somewhat of a feeling of nausea and if you take the full 200mg pill, you can get somewhat of an anxiety attack. It also makes you feel numb, like you can't feel normal emotion. I threw the stuff out.

^Yeah, I've done the online thing with modafinil. Not through the Silk Road though, there are plenty of vendors out there that are reputable.

It affects everyone differently. I think the stuff is great. I usually only take a half a pill, then maybe the other half later in the day. Theanine can help if it's giving you anxiety.

I just prefer to live as natural a lifestyle as possible. There have been no long term studies done on Modafinil, so we don't really know what the long term usage does to a person.
