Hi guys. This is not a what should I text next thread but more like a review and what could I have done better thread. For the newbies that are just starting out we tend to make a lot of mistakes, sometimes over and over again. It would be really helpful if people with similar experience in the past can give some pointer and reduce the number of mistakes we'll be repeating.

Background: okc, 22 y.o. Got the number today and text her after an hour

Below is my personal epic trial and error message exchanges:

Me: Can't just call you alien. What's your name

Her: I began my walk and I'm carrying a lot of ahit so I can't look at my phone that often
Me: lol what? I hope you're not gonna just stay at home on a Friday night

Gonna paint
Me: Cool. You'll do better if drunk though?
Her: I'm drinking and wandering around china town
Me: let's meet for drink then
Her: I'm just walking over bridge now
Me: so? Bk has bars
Her: why so persistent
Me: why not?
Her: Because I am not up for it tonight

Me: For what you're already drinking
Her: Bars and being social
Me: we drink under moonlight
Me: let's go to LES
Me: stop being a hermit
Her: I feel very depressed
I can't help it
Me: so let's drink
Her: I'm broke
And in Brooklyn
Me: sure lets drink
Her: so like 8 reasons there
Me: sure
Her: lol
Me: where
Her: wat
Me: meet

Her: no

General rule of thumb is to look for green lights. A girl that doesn't want to hang, doesn't want to hang. Don't push it because it makes you seem desperate. Game other girls and aim for weeknight first dates to make it happen.

You pushed it to much and came off sounding needy, i would've just texted her hey its that handsome devil kaotic, save this number

Then gamed her later, not an hour after you texted her. What is the delay between your response and hers? that's very important.

This is a lost cause, next her or put her on ice for a bit.

kaotic: Yes I agree with you, she's probably a lost cause. I've used both methods (meeting up few days later and same night) and have experienced surprising results. The delay time was pretty even between both of us, hence I really wanted to push for a meet up. The conversation after me getting her name to her saying no lasted about 30 minutes.

Will text her again in a month and see if she's still interested.

It seems to me that you came off as a little needy and thus blew the interaction.

If you're trying to do something, try to frame it in a manner so that you are inviting her to join you to do whatever awesome shit you were going to do anyways. Doesn't matter if it's a dive bar, a rooftop lounge, a walk in the park, a hike, the mall or whatever. If you set yourself up like you're a cool guy doing cool things all the time, people will be drawn to you.

If you take your approach, trying to get her to go to drinks with you, you sound needy. In her mind she's going "why does he want to have drinks with me?" followed closely by "Is he just going to stay at home if I say no?". On that last question, because in all likelyhood the answer, when you are trying to get her to go get drinks with you actively, is no. High value males don't sit around at home very often. Losers often do.

By being a busy man doing the things you want to do, you can often draw women into your life far easier than if you try to jump into a girl's life. If you have a strong frame and do what you enjoy, chicks love that. How many girls do you know who love the 'puppy dog boyfriend', the one who follows them around everywhere, doesn't have many of his own friends, and just hangs around waiting for her commands. That guy seldom exists as a boyfriend, but often as an orbiter.

The biggest difference between an alpha playboy and a beta orbiter is that betas are attracted to girls, and sucked into their world. Alphas, on the other hand, attract girls and suck them into their own world.

Go on Instagram and search for Dan Bilzerian. Yeah, the fact that he's worth $100MM doesn't hurt, but still all of those girls come hang out with/bang him because he is doing whatever it is that he wants to do, they're all just hanging on for the ride.
