It's not safe to use the internet any more.
People think that you can only get doxxed if you post personal information of yourself online. As long as you're just a pseudonym, you're safe, right? Well nowadays,
websites and companies share private information about you with each other, compile it into a database, and publish it publically online with all your social media handles and location without letting you remove it. When you give your real name, username or email address to a website, they share that information with other websites and companies, search that into google, and create a listing of every social media profile you have, so people can find out your name, address, and what you look like.
There was a cyberbullying group on Facebook called Facebeef that went on the national news four times for being notorious and in the newspapers, and they had the main page and the other pages for the individual members. One of them ran their own page posting offensive jokes and humorous content, and ran another page called Fucked Up Statuses where he'd post funny Facebook content without censoring the real names. When the people mentioned in the post started talking smack on his posts and inbox asking him to take it down, he'd say no, go to white pages, and post their address in the comments and everyone would laugh liking the comment finding it funny. You can try using Facebook under a fake name but they suspend your account if you do that. Thankfully you can remove yourself from white pages. When two of them trolled a national news show, the media stole a photo from their Facebook account and credited it as Facebook. You never know which one of your facebook friend requests are going to steal your photos.
When Mark Zuckerberg says he doesn't sell your information to companies, he is LYING! There's a website which I won't mention here, that lists a catalogue of every facebook page, every facebook group and every facebook profile. It you type in someone's name into it, you can see their photo and their facebook friends even if they'd set it to private. Now you know their facebook friends, you can befriend them to get dirt on them. Every facebook profile created in 2008 of before is on it because Mark Zuckerberg doesn't care about your privacy. He told the media that if he were to make Facebook again from scratch again, that everything would be public. Thankfully you can remove yourself from there too. If you've been on the site from 2008 or before, pm me for the link so you can remove yourself and your photo or change your name on the site to John Smith.
There's a company that I won't mention here that profiles internet users and shares that information with the public. All you do is upload your csv mailing list to it and it gives you a csv back with their interests and location, so you can make more money with your mailing list by segmenting your list. They give out people's age, gender, zip code and post code. I didn't consent Rapleaf to give out my location to anyone who asks.
There are websites that go through leaked, sold and gifted databases which use your username, name, email and name to list all your social media handles and they don't let you remove the information.
When you want to setup a business so you can pay tax if you're self employed, websites will list your name and address and won't let you remove the information. Some of them don't have an email form. If you change your company director's name and address on government records so that the scraper sites update it, some of them won't update it if they think you put fake information.
Tips to prevent this
- Never give out your real name, phone number or address to a website unless you're buying something you need delivered.
- When registering a domain name, use domain privacy.
- Use a fake name, address and phone number when registering a domain name. You can get your domain taken off you if you do this, so be careful.
- If you're registering to vote, get yourself off the Electoral Roll. If you're a child and your parents are registering you to vote, make sure they get you off it. Be careful what boxes you tick or untick. If in doubt, phone the council.
- Change your Facebook name to a fake name as Facebook doesn't let you hide your profile from appearing in Google.
- Hide your friend list on Facebook.
- Remove all Facebook friends you are not close with.
- Reverse search your photo on Google before you submit it to a dating site.
- On Facebook go through every photo you were tagged in and remove the tag if it's not appropriate.
- Go to the about section of your profile and make it so only you can see your employment information, location and websites. Facebook doesn't let you hide your location so use a fake one.
- Remove your phone number from facebook. Any one of your Facebook friends can find you via your phone number.
- Sign up to as little websites as possible. You never know which ones will share your information or hack you.
- Change the privacy settings on your Facebook photos and Facebook photo albums so that only friends can see them.
- You cannot change the privacy setting on your Facebook profile picture, so change it to something taken from Google images and hide the rest of your profile pictures so that only friends can see it. Do the same with your cover photo.
- If you own a business, get it registered with a PO box and a fake name. You don't need people knowing your home or office address or your name.
- Have two email addresses. One for social media, and one for everything else. If you can follow, subscribe or friend people, it's social media. People will use your social media email to spy on your life or ruin your life. Redirect all email fom your social media email to your proper email and never reveal your social media email to anyone. For a list of social media sites that people databases use so you can be doxxed, pm me. That way you'll know which social media sites not to give your real email/name/username to.
- Never use a personal email address to reply to someone regarding your website or something you've posted on the internet. Have an email address that ends with a domain you own.
- Don't use your real name on Amazon as all your wish lists are public.
- Become self employed so you don't have to worry about getting fired.
- Get off social media. Social media is shithouse and it's full of narcissists taking selfies or showing off how swag their life is. Only Reddit, Voat and Twitter provide anonymity as hackers and terrorists are allowed to have profiles on those sites. The only people who should social media are public figures who rely on it for exposure.
- Be careful who you email. A gamergate supporter got doxxed after he emailed Github.
- Only use VPN's where you can buy in bitcoin so there's no paper trail. At least then you can say someone else used your computer to post it and not you as an IP address doesn't provide a name and billing address.
- Websites like Stack Exchange still keep your old details when you update your profile with new details, so if you've used personally identifiable information you'd like to wipe, you can still get fucked.
- Use a VPN so websites don't get your IP address. My friend tried to prank me by typing in scary stuff in my shoutbox. I edited the database of my shoutbox to something ambiguous that he was going to "get me" then emailed his ISP saying that I want his IP address. Because the words "get me" are ambiguous, they told me to get a court order. He then emailed me to say the prank was over as he didn't want me to know where he lived.
- Never make threats of rape and violence to feminists on Twitter. Thanks to psycho people like Elliot Rodger and the feminists who gave Protein World a bomb threat, the police have reason from past events to not take it as a joke.
- Be careful what you tweet on Twitter. There's a search engine that catalogues every tweet ever made from the time Twitter was created. It lets you go back in time, search people's tweets, even if they're deleted.
- If you use Windows, run HijackThis on your computer regularly to find out if you have any keyloggers giving hackers your passwords. Antivirus won't cut it because of rootkits and hidden files.
All those tips are needed because the situation is getting worse every year and the
anti-male government that is giving 82% of the income tax men contribute to fund women is doing absolutely nothing about it.
There's a website where you type in someone's email address or username and it tells you if their data has appeared on a pastebin dump or leaked database. If you're listed on that site, you should change your email password.
I typed in Roosh's gmail address, and it said his personal information got leaked on a database of a famous software company. If he paid for this software and used his real address, I could find out where he lives and what his phone number is.
Kids should be taught this stuff in schools. It's ironic how Silk Road gets shut down despite the fact that you can't buy weapons or hacked paypal and credit cards on it, just because the government can't tax it, where there's websites on the dark net that list social security, address and phone numbers of celebrities and ordinary people that don't get shut down, and websites that list similar information on the clearnet that don't get shut down.
And if your account gets suspended on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, YouTube or any other PC SJW site, you'll need to provide a copy of your ID to them to get your account back, so they'll have a photo of you, your address and name,
Social media is shithouse. It's full of narcissists taking selfies talking about how swag their life is. Create your own social media site. When I get paid I'll launch two social media sites. One I've already finished coding and designing that just needs advertising, and the other is so simple and basic that everyone will copy the idea because it'll be the easiest money I'll ever make whilst being easy to code.
You don't have to be offensive or controversial to be spied upon. I have a relative who got his university degree, and a couple of years later his university rang his workplace asking them to hire more graduates from the uni. They said they had plenty of graphic designers, web developers and IT people. He doesn't know how they found out where he worked as it's not on Facebook. He listed his employer on LinkedIn and forgot about it. He doesn't know how they know what his job is. His job is "general IT person". Internet marketer slash web developer slash technician slash network administrator slash accessing the company's CCTV, emails and files slash I forgot my Windows password and want to login to my computer person. Nobody at the work place told the uni what his job entailed, but they still found out somehow. If a university can find out what he does in his job when he never said what his job entails on the internet, imagine what someone else can do, like when sluth
Tuthmosis found lots of Jessica Valenti gossip.
But hey, at least we don't have
SJW search engine like they do in China.
Even
the government gives out personal information about you.
A porn star got someone's deetz in exchange for nudes on 4chan and the collective were so l337 that she got half his social security number.
