Final point. I think the Japanese culture has shown it's somewhat resistant to western narcissism and hookup culture as seen in Tinder etc. For one, many are just too damn modest to upload a decent face pic. That's not changing anytime soon. I'll admit it's annoying at times but it's for the best. You'd be amazed how many 8s have profile pics of kittens or some random scenic photo. Nowhere else in the world has modesty on that scale. It's also the only place I've ever lived where online dates show up usually better than their photos.

I know some girls (ie the groupies and some outliers) use Tinder and Instagram to find cock, but it's nowhere near the levels of whoredom I saw all over SEA and back home. Japan is not a puritan state full of virgins (and probably never was!), but I have asked a ton of girls about Tinder. Most think it sucks. Trust me, it's not going to gain critical mass in Japan. Facebook still struggles here on that front, where it's become more of a place to connect with workmates/classmates than anything else. Instagram is more popular but I don't see people using it to hookup at all. Japanese dating apps tend to be way more serious. All in all, things are good.

I was spending a few months in Tokyo last year. My stats were solid and I got laid a lot. and had a great time.
Meet a lot of awesome people and when it came to chicks many western guys recommended me to visit Osaka.
They often say something like :
"Hey man, you should go to Osaka, it's like Tokyo was for 10 years ago. Osaka is much better than Tokyo".

So this year I've spent one month in Osaka.
Day game is not really my thing and since I'm also working I wen't out about 4 nights a week.

Surprisingly I got to admit that Tokyo is so much easier.

In Japan, there are clubs "crowded" with Western people, and there are clubs that you won't see any, or few, foreigners. In the latter ones, English-speaking level will be even lower. It seems like you have mainly visited the gaijin bars.

I don't know whether you guys all look like Thor, but as a decent looking EA guy, Tinder is absolute joke. I'm getting almost less matches then back in the west, and maybe around 1/10th of SEA. This MakeApp has also started making me look closer at all these girls without their 10 outfit and 10 makeup. Went to a LE meetup got some prospects, and some of the girls were feeling me up (literally), then again there was ONE 7+ and maybe 2 6's.... so not that good quality either.

Verdict: Average quality higher on the streets. Much lower online. It has been said a zillion times. Don't use Tinder in Japan. Nothing more to say about that.

Love Fukuoka too, one of the nicest and cheapest cities in Japan with an unreal amount of hot girls around. Kyushu does it right.

Starting Sept of 2018, I will be in Japan for 4 years for college. I will also be there when the 2020 Tokyo Olympics hit and we all know its never good to be in an city where the Olympics run through: an influx of foreigners with overly aggressive game/no game hitting on every girl in sight sending the walls of girls way up. Haven't tried it, but word on the street is that its more of an LTR/marriage type of app. Apparently, the crowd on it is more in the 25+ range, so the foreigners who have used it find themselves going on more traditional type of dates, rather than the modern-day hit and quit like Tinder. Not to mention, you have to have a pretty solid level of the language to get good traction with it, as well as pay a fee or some sort.

Back from Japan after 8 days and managed to get 2 chicks.. one on tinder and one in the bar.. Tinder is a hit and miss and I only got a handful of matches out of which only 3 replied .. I tried to pipeline before I arrived in Tokyo but there was not much success. Then managed to match a girl who was 19 and could communicate a bit in english. She came to my room and then we went out for dinner after a good time.
Cold calling approach is better I guess but I didn't have the time and also the correct vibe to do that.There was ample opportunities as I was getting quite a good number of eye contacts and IOI's.

Based on your stats and shortness of stay. If I were you I would hop on the Toei line to Roppongi, hit up some of the international bars and play the numbers. Or find an international party to attend like this one (I personally haven't field tested the international party route). Wash rinse and repeat all 14 nights. Hell even get an airbnb in Roppongi for easier extraction. Quality may be dodgy but at least you don't leave Japan with your dick in hand.

I was just in Japan the end of last year and although I did see some Nigerians in Roppongi, it was nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be. One Nigerian even helped me find the bar I was looking for and on a separate occasion another one converted some American money I had into yen. There's even a Starbucks near the strip where you can post up in till the bars open up. Granted I only went a few times but my experiences were vastly different from the stories I was reading about of guys getting roofied and robbed etc.

Now lastly I will say I'm black so maybe being black there is like putting on the meat suit around zombies, but I didn't even see anything sketchy.
