I've played this on my phone before, and have few books on it. Basically you try to capture the most territory. Simple rules, very complex strategies.

I have always wanted to learn to play this game.

However I have never ever heard it mentioned offline in my entire life.

I feel it would, like chess, be better to learn and play in person rather than online.
