Being in DC, I've noticed there is a fine line that separates actual hookers from the "kept" women that powerful DC men often pair off with. It's almost more like they're exchanging commodities than marrying.

So this makes sense in a weird way.

I once saw ad advertisement for what seemed like a semi-call-girl situation on Craiglist DC. No incentive to behave, and no sanction for misbehavior, makes for a toxic mix.

That's why this culture is in the straits that it's in now. Because when female behavior becomes totally unrestricted, the sexual impulse rages out of control.
