This is 2018 guys. Not 2016. Try going outside once in awhile.

How many of you are local? Case closed.

So you're trying to tell us that the black population went up by 500% in 2 years? Don't know why you are so adamant on claiming there is a lot of black people in Vancouver when there really isn't.

It sounds like you saw three black guys at a club and you think being black is common.

I date people from Vancouver quite all the time because I am currently in East Asia and they gravitate toward English speakers, and they all say there are no black people there (one as recently just moved from Vancouver within the past month). That's the census from my personal experience, from this boards experience and from actual statistics. Vancouver is the least black major city in North America, if you got some better argument than you see some black guys every once in a while feel free to share it.

Next you're going to tell me Australia is filled with black guys because a couple of Sudanese people go to school there, the ratio is about the same. I don't think what I am saying is all that controversial.

Why are you guys getting your panties in a bunch?

I keep asking the question: how many are you are local now and have been in and out of the city over the last 10+ years?

Instead I'm hearing a bunch of autists quote me 2 year old stats, and 2nd hand info. But hey, enjoy your denial on the latest data point.

I've spent a lot of time in Vancouver over the last 10+ years.

Black people are definitely more common in the area than than they were 10yrs ago but they're also definitely still rare. I still feel a little surprised every time I meet one in Van. Even my friends who are black frequently comment on how few of them there are in the city.

If you go to some parts of downtown you'll encounter relatively more (still not many), but there's also large parts of the city where they're probably less than 1% of residents in those areas.

Ya black people are rarer in Vancouver, much fewer than Tdot and Mtl. Why has this taken up an entire page on here?

He kept hassling Cobra and other Indian posters about how they act around white people, it looks like it eventually got him banned. Too bad, he was a good poster and I met up with him a couple of times in Toronto last summer, he’s a very down to earth guy and told it like it is.

Most of the black guys I've met in Vancouver and the surrounding area are American, either coming up from Seattle or whatever to party or they knocked up some white woman and decided to stay in Canada.
