I'm not sure how I arrived to this site but after just reading a few post/messages, I felt at home. I went and signed up. I like how there are Black and White folks here and we all seem to be getting along. I read one post where some white guy tried to flame a racist debate but both white and black guys told him to chill out. That's the type of place I want to be. I notice there are too many members either which exclusivity make it even more worth my effort. I love that you guys have travel destinations and other things I'm interested in.

I've noticed racism on some PUA sites. Particularly with white PUAs. A lot of PUAs seem to be into evo-biology, which leads them to social darwinism, then libertarianism, and then to HBD. Some white PUA blogs(such as Roissy) have blogroll links to HBD sites like half-sigma where many people post that are openly racist.

Hey Speakeasy: I believe (as far as i know) into evolution and biology too. Am I missing something? Also Darwinism can be taken a couple of ways too (depends on who's teaching it), Libertarianism I have to look into, a lot more, before I can comment on it but your mention of HBD just made me do a little bit of research on it just now. I've got to say thank god Tariq Nasheed is making that movie. Some white people are starting to go really hard with racism lately and I can't even stand being on almost any site on the internet right now. I hope I have a better experience with this one.

"Human Bio-Diversity". I think the term came from the blog Half-Sigma which Roissy links to. Basically they are all into trying to scientifically prove that certain races are inferior and what not.

I'm gonna be super honest here. I think its needed, and that my feelings are as valid as anyone's.

I feel you if you guys if you run into racism on other sites. It's a hard thing to deal with. I think racism breeds racism. That is, if you catch some racism somewhere, that reinforces racist feeling against the people who were racist against you. Its a natural human response to want to devalue those who devalue us, judge us, or exclude us based on our race.

That's why racism is so insidious and nasty. Its self sustaining and even builds energy as it's disseminated. Also, racism tends to cut deep, and the wounds can take a long time to heal, if ever.

However, as a white guy, its also hard to hear complaints on this site. That's because as a white guy who never had a problem with any non-white people (except those that have been openly racist against me), I constantly observe socially acceptable racism against white people that is so accepted, that non-whites and even whites don't realize when its occurring. They've been trained to dismiss it as somehow acceptable, perhaps because they still have slavery guilt or some BS such as that. But if we want to live in a less racist world, then none of it can be accepted, for the self perpetuating dynamic that I explained above.

Its commonly dismissed when its complained about. Think about it. Anything that is race related and not racist, should be able to be talked about in the context of either race. If you say something about race that would sound offensive if it were to be applied in the context of the other race, than its a negative thing to discuss in terms of race.

My point:

A good example on this site is when threads are started about the best place for "brothas" to get laid. What if we had a thread dedicated solely to the best places for white guys to get laid, or talked openly about where only the white forum members could get special attention? Like it or not, those threads have a strong color of race exclusion.

So welcome to the site. I'm glad its a refuge for you. It should be. But don't think us white guys won't notice if you hold a double standard. The difference is we bite our tongues, but if we had white race themed or race exclusionary threads then they would come under heavy fire. Least of all, darker skinned guys would catch some feelings about it. Even if they claim otherwise.

Cultural examples:

Black and latino comedians making fun of white people. This is a huge problem that goes a long way to perpetuate tension. Also, the same holds true for the same dynamic in any media.
Other races referring to white guys as "whiteboys", and not being admonished for it.
Any other public devaluation of white people by other races.

Of course, the same holds true for white people doing this to other races. The difference is that not many white people can get away with it without it being deemed socially unacceptable.

The web is a free speech zone. But everyone needs to chill the fuck out if you want real tension relief. I don't know much about the HBD stuff. You guys shouldn't read it. I don't go on anti-white sites.

The one country I've been to where a guy can get laid for just being white (but not like Bill Gates nerdy white) is Peru. BUT!! The girls who will go out of their way to hook up with you won't necessarily be the hot ones. If you're down for 6s Peru is the place to be if you're a white guy. Hydrogonian. There are A LOT of black people who feel the same way that you do. I never felt right saying "white boys" when referring to you guys so I never did. I have however, partaken in some very hateful back and forth rhetoric with white guys who attacked me first. Honesty, I have and probably always will feel that there are pieces of shit in every race. And looking at a guys skin color could never help me determine who is who. But when degraded, I have been know to fight fire with napalm and the feeling i get afterward is the feeling of winning, not the feeling that I'm now racist. I considered it a battle of wits.
When it comes to things like NAACP or Historically Black Colleges and BET, I honestly believe they were introduced to let Black people know that its a safe place to be yourself and feel comfortable. Those places are historically place not many Blacks were historically allowed (TV, Politics, Education.) Being "white-own, watched or attended" is usually a given. There would be no need to mention it. It's a slap in the face because the signs "white-owned" were used on stores that promoted separation, not equal opportunity.

Lastly and to end it off, the only people me and any of my friends have problems with is ASSHOLES, and assholes come in all shapes and sizes and they prejudge things because they are too lazy to understand the other person. But as a lot of people are saying these days, There is great hope for the future when it comes to these issues unless the parents are instilling the BS in their kids.

I agree with Hydro almost 100% except I don't really care about "white boy" thing...I think the term is childish when people say it, but it just never really bothered me.

The one thing I want to add, is that if you take everyone as they present themselves to you ie Face Value, you can have friends of all backgrounds. It's about mutual respect. As a white guy who grew up around black people in the South I know from my experiences there were plenty of black folks hating on me for endless number of reasons that weren't really valid. I know that many of the black members here can tell similar stories of discremenation just from a different view point . I'm not saying my experience is special or unique, but just because I'm a white guy doesn't mean my POV on race relations is any less valuable than anyone elses, though some like to make that conclusion.

Normally I agree with you but, in your example I don't think you're right. A white guy could easily post a reply advising some "brothas" where he thinks they'd get laid and vice versa. I do see where your intent lies and in that respect you are right however, There are no exclusionary threads. I think a large problem is that most people don't even really know what is actually racist.

On cinco de mayo in CA a group of kids wore shirts that had portions of the American Flag on it. They got sent home from school for the day and the Mexican student population collectively threatened them (some of the American flag wearers were of Mexican decent) etc. The principle who's name ended with "ez" sided with mob rule in the incident and embarrassed the school. Now I remember posting a comment saying something along the lines of "Is anyone else wondering what all these Mexicans are so proud about?" and a black guy was like "wow". I asked him what he meant and he said "That's racist."

1st off, no it isn't racist. Mexicans aren't a "race" they're people from Mexico. There's every color of Mexican people so the comment is already inaccurate.
2nd, Cinco de Mayo is a Joke. It's some insignificant little battle that took place in some puny little town in Mexico and all these people who seem to be so proud of their heritage don't even realize that they're celebrating a non-event.

To bring the issue to more current events, the law passed in Arizona for non citizens to carry their identification is not racist. It doesn't say non-black and non-white and non-asian people have to carry identification. It says non citizens. The law itself is therefore not racist, however, if an officer soley arrests someone because they are Latino (or whatever the current term is) then that is racist.

I'm pretty tired of the overly sensitive race card throwers. This is 2010, Give me a break. If you want to get real about it, look at how many black people voted for Obama without even knowing where he stood on a single issue. They voted for him because he was black and that's all. That's racist. It's racist when you make a decision for or against a person(s) when your only reason is because of race.

Before everyone starts jumping down my throat, I'm only pointing out these topics because they go largely unmentioned. But the days of Mississippi Burning are long gone and frankly, I'm tired of hearing about it. It's boring.

Rocco, it doesn't bother me either, most of the time. There are different ways of saying it. You can tell when someone is being derogatory with it. In that case, I don't think its acceptable. But then I can have a girl say it to me playfully. Its definitely a strange term that can take on different meaning in different contexts.

Let me also say that I really don't care about exclusionary threads on this board. I was just making a point.

However, "exclusionary" discussions in society do lead to behavior which leads to more insidious racism.

But using the microcosm of the exclusionary thread on this board as an example, for now:

For instance, lets say that in an "exclusionary discussion", I start going on about how I'm going to go and take my creamy white skin to Africa, and do some damage over there based on my status as a white man. How does that sit? Some guys won't care, some will feel a twinge of discomfort, and some will outright call me out.

As a matter fact, we recently had a thread about Somalia in which no one explicitly said anything about being white, but we nevertheless had some random Somali girl come on here and jump down our throat about white men going to Somalia to use girls for sex. We didn't even say that we were white. However, she made it clear that this is what she assumed. Where the fuck did she even come from? And she stuck around a while to make sure that no one was going to further speak about going to tear up Africa, based on the status of being white. She killed the thread nicely.

However, in the explicitly "where can black/brown men get laid" threads here, we've got guys explicitly saying "I'm gonna take my black/brown ass down there (insert white EE country), ASAP, and do some damage" (paraphrasing). And that is accepted, without anyone flinching. That's par for the course in society. We can talk about how nice it is to be brown/black, and the advantages thereof, but there can be no celebration of being white without admonishment.

Again, I don't care within the context of anything said on this forum. I don't mind that thread at all, as I like most people here and want them to get laid, wherever that may take them. I'm making a larger point. That's that the hypocrisy, in society as a whole, gets to me just a little bit. Especially when we are all out there dealing with the same problems and going for that same piece of pie, fur or dollars.

If white guys can't get away with talking about the advantages or superiority of our skin color in certain contexts, then neither should anyone else.

What also happens is society makes a habit out of it, and then when it comes time for some real racism, its as easy as can be. People don't even realize that its occurring. See: comedians, media, and pissed off people in general when they want to make themselves feel superior.

Its especially apparent to us white guys when dating outside of our race. As soon as anything goes a little bit wrong, its tends to go to the race card if she is latina or black. When was the last time a white woman played the race card against you fellas of other races, for some trivial shit? Probably not often, if ever, as she's too politically correct to do so. You would probably have to really fuck her over to get some of that treatment, unless she's complete white trash.

Anyway, that's my only point. I really didn't mean to turn this thread all heavy.

I think there is nothing wrong with talking about physical advantages in gaming when it comes to racial preferences and which countries you might be more popular in for bieng a certain race. White boys with blue eyes stand out in South America, brothers stand out in Sweden...ok we got it. Nothing wrong with sharing that, but like Hydro's example, its another thing when you push the limits and become insulting to a race or culture which I have seen plenty of and its not normally from 'white boys'.

If someone gives me that I try to explain the difference but, I usually just wind up telling them to fuck off. If someone is that obtuse and bent towards climbing up on the cross then no amount of rational argument will change their minds. As far as the comedians and other media outlets that spew out all that garbage I just won't watch it.

Wow, I can't believe you wrote this, Roissy fan boys are going to in the words of Clarence Thomas "Hi-Tech Lynch" you. But I digress, Roissy is not just guilty by association, he frequently takes passive aggressive pot shots at Black people which ironically is not very "Alpha." The racists are more realistic really. Race does matter in many cases when trying to pick up. Of course, racism is a part of game too. They use race to cockblock and elevate themselves.

Dating pretty much is darwinism. Girls are going to go for the most desirable men that they can get by their own standards. Most of the time, this does mean the tall white guy.

For those that complain about racism (and trust me, as a Black guy into Asian girls, I've dealt with it a TON, and it nearly infests my entire life), I advise separating from other races. The only real solution to the race problem is to separate the races and stick to our own. It seems that Blacks are generally looked down upon just about everywhere, so the only solution is to love ourselves, do it ourselves, and optionally, hate those that hate us in return (I know I'm doing the latter, since I personally have nothing to lose).
