How would I go about getting a radio server up so I can start broadcasting?
Assistance appreciated, thanks.

You need to get an FCC license first, don't you? Unless you want to do pirate radio -- I DJed for one back when. Some of those transmitters broadcast just a couple blocks. Might've been from Radio Shack.
These days it's probably cheaper and more effective doing a podcast.

where are you now? If you're in the US or Canada you need a license to broadcast.

He was thinking broadcast like as in bolting a giant antenna on top of your place and powering it up so people can tune in on the radio.

If you are just broadcasting online then you all you need is a server. Depending on your internet upstream speed and how much bandwidth you allocate to each stream you could probably set it up at home and host 5, 10, 20 listeners or more.
If broadcasting on FM then you need a license. I've looked into it and even after you obtain the license it is a huge pain in the ass and pretty expensive. A bare minimum station in a small area will be at least $3,000 a month.
