Condoms in UK

Cost of 12 condoms from supermarket in London AUD $16.77 / USD $16.14

Didn't even sell condoms at 3 supermarkets I went to (Food Coop, Iceland, Tesco Express) and at the SuperDrug store they didn't sell them either. The off-licence had run out, there were no condoms avaiable there. Sainsbury's hide their condoms next to cigarettes and booze behind a staff checkout as though it is tantamount to 18+ show us ID.

All I can say is no wonder there are so many teen pregnancies across the UK. Must be a teenage ganga rawdog epidemic of biblical proportions.

Cost of condoms was x2.5 what I am used to paying and availability was an afterthought. You would think given the huge cost of a pack of condoms that they would be available everywhere.

What is the explanation for this?

Try the store Boots. It's a Pharmacy that also sells ranging from toothbrushes, pads, condoms, and lube.

They should be a little cheaper there - and if not - they sell them in a variety of pack sizes and brands that vary in price.

You can get them for free from the Family Planning Association (FPA) office near Old Street.

I can't have sex with your personality, and I can't put my penis in your college degree, and I can't shove my fist in your childhood dreams, so why are you sharing all this information with me?

Maybe the UK government finally looked at their own data on fertility. Next thing you know they'll be having a National Start-A-Family Day like over in Russia.

A bit off-topic but I do like how British people pronounce the word "condom" differently compared to the US. Kind of funny. Usually makes me laugh a bit when I hear it on the BBC news.

If only you knew how bad things really are.
