What Are Your Weekly Dietary Habits?

Admitting, if there is one thing I need to change in my life, it is my eating habits. I eat out too much and has resulted in me developing a gut.

While this thread isn't necessarily about completely healthy eating habits, what are your weekly eating habits? What dishes do you habitually cook? Any foods you couldn't do without?

I find myself making tacos, spaghetti, chicken stew in my crockpot and chili frequently. Also, Tuna Helper, but I should probably cut that out.

What about you?

Not more eating out.

Stay out of the center of the supermarket.

Lift or swim. One or the other.

Fuel your life with meat, eggs, fish, veggies and fruits.

I eat lots of flap steak, it's cheap with good taste. I get avocados as gifts and eat those when available.

I eat eggs and make shakes with Muscle Milk.

Eat fat. It generates satiety with fewer calories than carbs. I eat nuts as a snack, the fattier the better.

I changed my attitude toward food. Saying I can't live without a particular food is like saying my car needs Exxon and can't do without Chevron.

It's just fuel. I don't miss it.

What Are Your Weekly Dietary Habits?

I eat out for breakfast/lunch just about every day of the week, then usually eat in for dinner, but sometimes get lazy and get take out. I'm a creature of habit so I pretty much order the same dish at the same cafes and rotate to a different one each day.

Here is roughly what I eat during the week for breakfast/lunch:

Mon: Homefries topped with 3 eggs sunny side up, diced tomato, onion, and peppers, cheddar cheese, guacamole, with 4 pieces of chicken apple sausage.

Tues: Savory crepe filled with organic chicken, jack and feta cheese, spinach, tomato, onion, topped with avocado

Weds: Wild caught tuna salad on whole wheat with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a mixed fruit smooth

Thurs: Organic bagel, low fat cream cheese, salmon lox, red and green onion

Fri: Toasted Focaccia bread with organic roast beef, gruyere cheese, 2 scrambled eggs, and tomato, onion, red pepper, and argula

Sat: Toasted Focaccia bread topped with 3 eggs, cheddar cheese, ham, tomtato, red onion, and avocado, side salad

Sun: Focaccia panini, smoked turkey, 2 types of cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado

I literally eat this same schedule week in and week out, is that strange? I spend a shit ton of money on food, probably my number one expense, but I love eating out, getting coffee and breakfast and lunch, chilling and reading a book, while everyone is slaving away in their cubicles.

I eat pretty healthy, but maybe you noticed I get too much carbs, shit tons of bread in my diet, but fortunately I cut more of it out at night time, still probably way more than I should be eating. For dinner I usually eat a mix of Mexican food (burittos), sushi, Viet food (grilled meat/rice/veggies), lasagne, salads, etc.

Yup to what Jim Norton said. Paleo pretty much.

Don't really have any set habits.

I buy food in the fridge and cook it, things come up and it spoils, so I usually eat out every meal. I am trying though, grilled a bunch of chicken breasts yesterday, but today I had a breakfast burrito from a roach coach. Had some Ramen for lunch and I'm about to hang out at a bar for a date so I'll have beer and whatever is on the menu.

What Are Your Weekly Dietary Habits?

My parents are out for the weekend so I had to make my meals, Here is my day:
Woke up at 6 and worked out
Broke my fast at 12:30 with fish, egg whites, sausage, cheese and one yogurt
Ate again at 4, had 2 yogurts
Ate again at 6, had a beef patty.
Calorie wise that was about 2300 calories of mostly Protein, significant fat and minimal carbs. About 1800 of those calories came from my 12:30 breakfast.
I consider this one of my better days, variety wise, as most of the days I just have lunchmeats or something like that. I posted my usual meal plan on fret's IF journey.
Notice that I didn't add any liquids, except for water, in this diet, nor did I add any grains. And even though I call it a diet it really should be a lifestyle, a habit. It shouldn't be "I am on a diet so I can't eat that" it should be "This is what I don't eat".I ate so much yogurt because I wanted to observe the effects of minimal carbs and not simply just cut all carbs out, as I am taking the SAT in 2 days and I want to be in peak condition. Don't want to mess with my body just yet. Anyways I am done rambling, hope that helped.

Workday breakfasts' are pretty regular. - 4oz steak and 2 boiled eggs

Workday lunches are pretty regular - Sliced chicken breast and salad sandwich with mustard, 1 carrot, half red capsicum (pepper), 1 apple and 1 handful of mixed nuts.

I mix up my dinners they tend to be high in protein and I try to limit carbs, this week has been

Ground pork pasta with a wine and herb tomato base
Seared salmon with blanched vegetables in garlic and butter sauce
Flour coated seafood mix, shallow fried with steamed vegetables
Chicken curry with spicy cabbage and carrot on white rice

Tonight will be pipi-piri chicken and salad, mixed with mayonaise stufed into a pita pouch.

Weekends I tend to have a big brunch on saturdays, I have planned bacon and olive gnocchi, probably a ham and mushroom pizza for a late lunch and pumpkin soup for dinner

Sunday, bacon, poached eggs and baked beans for breakfast, haven't decided lunch yet, and lamb roast and roast vegetables with gravy for dinner.

Bacon, pasta (though I can make my own fresh pasta) and any breads are the only processed foods I tend to eat

My breakfast usually consists of that as well. I make sure to buy the bacon that doesn't have any preservatives, and always whole wheat bread. Occasionally I'll eat a whole egg with the yellow.

Lunch and dinner are pretty random for me. I think I eat a bit too much red meat though.

Between meals I often take a Greek yogurt for the protein, and lots of peanuts.

I was thinking to make a similar thread for this- directed at skinny guys in particular with a high metabolism, what are some of the staples in your diet after lifting to gain some mass?

I've been eating 6 eggs, Sardines, rice, and a spinach salad, with tomato juice for breakfast all this week. Will roast a whole chicken in the next few days and fest on that for a while. I have habits also of eating one thing daily until I get sick of it or run out.

eggs, cheese, whey protein powder, veggies (spinach, broccoli & cauliflower), fruits (apples, bananas, blueberries), & bagels.

i'm cutting, i have a slow metabolism, i don't care about taste and variety, and i don't have time to cook, so that's it, day in and day out, save the occasional fast food cheat meal.

I've been doing 16 hour fasts mon-fri.

So I usually eat a huge meal at 12 for example: 150g pasta, lots of veggies, 5 eggs scrambled, 100g chicken, mayo and more if I can take out.

Diet staples are eggs, chicken, mince, spinach, cheese, tuna and then vary it up with brown rice, pasta, new potatoes, wholemeal bread.

I eat a meal at 12 and a meal at 6. Then a small meal before bed.

Didn't exactly work out the other day. I ate at the normal times, but I ate an extra dinner meal, and a late night meal at waffle house. All star special baby.

Lots of mexican food. I've been working out hard- high rep, medium weight gym sessions- and I eat lots of burritos.

Meat, cheese, guac, beans, rice and tortillas. Portions are huge. Wash it all down w/salsa!
