Feminism is a misnomer

Feminism is a misnomer

I come from the school that believes language matters. Language is a perceptual filter with words standing in as symbols for something in external reality.

Unfortunately, in the mouths of those with limited awareness it often begins to define reality. The word 'Feminism' is a case in point. In reality the term describes what I would call female masculinism. I'm not aware of any aspect of 'Feminism' that speaks to a woman's feminine nature. The closest it seems to get is around discussions of reproductive choice where biology is taken as a stand in for femininity.

In my view, the consequences of masculine women appropriating the term Feminism have been enormous. If the women who held this view acknowledged openly they were advocating moving women toward increased masculinity does anyone think the sophistry of their arguments would not have been plainer to the average silly girl?

Masculine and feminine energy lie on a spectrum and as you move toward one you naturally move away from the other. The term Feminism implies a woman can adopt masculine ways and not correspondingly give up an aspect of their female identity.

This is false, of course, as the entire western culture is discovering. Part of the corrective is to call things what they are and in this case what masquerades as 'Feminism' is actually 'Female Masculinism' and should be called out as such.

Yes, feminism is really about how a woman should be masculine in the world. The rub is that women have no idea what it means to be a well developed masculine. Like a cat has no idea how to be a good dog. So women run around acting like undeveloped adolescent boys.

Living in America is like bieng in a monster movie. Funny thing is, so few men in this country even notice and that absolutely amazes me.
