Protesters are mainly in these zones:

Downtown (centro):
stock exchange, embassies (USA, Canada, Spain), zocalo. Pretty much anything close to reforma.

Airport

Presidential House (los pinos)
Congress (near metro "congreso de la union")

Most of the game sites like Polanco don't have many protesters, if any, from what I've heard.

Well, actually the city is boiling right now. Demonstrations everywhere, anytime, also around the place you are going to stay. Besides, this is Independence weekend, so the city is going to be a royal mess. I'd be your host, problem is I am already hosting some Brazilians in a business trip.
