Lets say you stay at the Cosmo, but then hit up XS. At 2am it doesn't matter if I'm staying at the motel 6 on tropicana, because it's probably only 120 seconds longer to get there than to cosmo, or to a place at MGM grand. Plus, you can technically "stay on the strip" just north of encore, and stay at a place for 30 dollars a night, but that's the ghetto part of the strip.

Where you stay is everything because of two words:

Cab line.

See, if you pulled a girl at 2 a.m., you'd know that the cab line (and traffic) can totally destroy momentum. You do not want to wait in that fucking line. You want to walk back to the room. "Hey, let's get out of here and go get a drink out of my room."

Since you're concerned about cost, you're not gonna skip the cab line to get a limo.

Sorry, bro, but you're just ignoring everything guys are telling you.

You have it in your mind that you know something about Vegas, when in fact you do not.

It's OK to be ignorant. We all start off ignorant.

But you are ignoring reality and refusing to listen.

I am only responding to you so that hopefully other guys learn from your mistakes.

Or, if you stay at the hotel with a club/bar you walk to the elevators and get your smash on.

Logistics.

That's Game 101 and not exclusive to Vegas.

Hell, even works in Mason City IA.

Not sure if Zanesville has a hotel bar....

Building rapport with a girl in Vegas:

"my car is right over here let's go to it and drive to my hotel off the strip"

Girl: Ummm... (Hamster runs "I don't know this guy...where is he taking me???")

OR

(Grabbing her hand) "I'm at Cosmo/Encore/Wynn/Insert nice strip hotel and I have the best room service"

Girl: "Ohhh I love Cosmo etc etc hotel!"

Walk out to cab line. It's 45 min wait. Because you took my advice in my Vegas Data Sheet Tax Tips section, you palm the bellman a $10 dollar bill. He smiles broadly and the next cab is yours. Your wait time? 30 seconds. The club slut feels special cutting in front of the other schmucks who's time is not worth an extra $10. Your DHV shoots even higher. She gets wetter.

Quick cab ride later in which you're fingering her soft wet tight smooth pussy, instead of worrying about a DUI, you've arrived at your strip hotel Cosmo, Wynn, Encore etc etc and take her up to your room for dirty Vegas sex.

Game, point, match.

so that's check and mate for McQueen?? [Image: smile.gif]

But seriously Tenerife, I understand where you are coming from, but sure seems like a lot of established Vegas guys are putting out some seriously good info and tips you should consider.

Vegas can be as cheap or expensive as you want to make it, but if you're looking to swoop some 7.5+ type ladies I think you're going to always have to put in the time and a little bit of money. Mabye not $500 a night, there are certain ways around that, but that to me is not a crazy amount of dough esp given it's Vegas and there are tons of suckers dropping thousands gambling there nightly anyway. When in Rome....

Is it Hakkasan on Wednesdays?

Don't think Hakkasan is open Wednesdays. Usually Surrender is the spot on Wednesdays, they have NE-YO performing so it may be more african american in there. I've only been in Vegas on a Wednesday once though and I went to Haze (private event for the SI Swimsuit issue launch!) and after I got loaded off the free drinks I ended up at Surrender which was packed (it was in the winter so a bit cold) for Lil Jon. Not sure anything else is really worth hitting up, PURE might be open, Lavo is open but might be empty.

Edit: Saw light has this tonight. http://thelightvegas.wantickets.com/Even...tId=140016 I've seen Nathan Scott before, he's not bad, just as an opener though. Light has an awesome sound system, large dance floor and a long bar area that wraps around the edge of the club. I don't know how crowded it gets on Wednesdays though.

Just saw this on Jack Colton. Clubs to go by day of the week:

I've read this thread over and over, and took the advice of mcqueen. The only thing I didn't do was stay in one of the 5 or six upscale hotels. Obviously if you're hitting up XS or surrender, then it's ideal to stay at encore. And if you're going to Marquee, then you want to be at Cosmo.

But I don't have the budget for that, and I'm here for a few weeks preparing for my next travel expedition overseas, so I'm in a short term apartment. I can't stay at the wynn for two weeks.

And if you have to stay at those hotels, then how do local guys hit the clubs, they stay at the wynn every time they want to get laid? That just doesn't make sense. Actually, Las Vegas is really easy for logistics. It's easy to get a cheap place close to the action, but like Mcqueen said, most of these girls care where you're staying. That's not logistics though, that's more of a status thing. My only argument is that vegas is not that easy, unless you're throwing money around, and I'm pretty much right about that. If it were easy, you wouldn't have to drain your bank to get action. That's the definition of a bad place, IMO.

@ Tenerife, try to spin your story off as "here living temporarily in Vegas for a work project, etc etc" to the ladies. Towards the end...once you have them hooked, just mention you're living off the strip, which is natural since you are "living" in Vegas after all right? Joke about how you have long work days as your employers want you focused "off the strip."

I got here super late Sat night as I needed to get my rental car, etc etc. Been busy with work appointments, a convention, and then a really bad cold/sinus issue. Finally finish my convention tonight though I have no idea of when I get off work (could be 10PM-12AM). Will try to hail mary one at Surrender or XS tonight by greasing a bouncer as you guys mentioned.

Finally made it out to Wynn/Encore out last night as I played some slots. Lots of hoes around. I have the adrenalin rush of being in Vegas again.

Instead of say eating fast food, etc...find some good ethnic food like tacos or Korean off the strip to really enhance the Vegas experience. Once you're enjoying the vibe and overall experience in Vegas, let your game flow instead of setting super high expectations. Instead of trying to follow the data sheet, listen to their advice & try to execute your game plan.

Will have a more detailed report later this week (swamped @ home with work/school), but XS and the Wynn were just great in general. In hindsight, I passed up a sure thing solid layup in hopes of hitting a 3 pter (I rarely do that) at XS though it was an awesome experience nevertheless. Barely made it out there Fri night.

Thx for all the tips as I'm not sure how one can have a bad time if following this thread properly.

Get advanced tickets for Kaskade at XS. Wish I could be there for that.

McQueen's Las Vegas Data Sheet

I'm kicking myself for not getting the Hakkasan Calvin Harris tickets on Halloween. They were $30 presale now $100+. Its going to be the spot. Kaskade at XS is the next best thing, its only $35 still for presale I believe (act really fast). I've seen Kaskade before pretty up close so its not that big of a deal. Since we're doing Hak/XS on Friday/Saturday so we decided to do a "party bus club crawl" on Halloween, which I've done in the past. Lounge + several B/C list clubs with a party bus. Its really easy to hook up this way and we figured we'd have more fun in multiple venues on Halloween instead of just staying at one.

I was going to do the "Pubcrawls.com" Halloween Club Crawl as a pre-game as well. They go to absolutely horrible bars (Kahuna in Treasure Island, and 3 at Venetian/Palazzo). However, since I'll be at Palazzo, I'll have a logistical advantage, so we're just going to walk into the bars during the crawl without paying for the wristband.

Got a pretty sweet schedule. Staying at Palazzo.

Halloween: Fly in early afternoon. Put on costumes. Hit up Hofbrau Haus for a few beers and pics. Try to work the Pubcrawls.com crawl w/o paying for wristband ($50 bucks for crap). Party Bus Club Crawl at night.

Friday: Rest. Take a bunch of pictures for a Vegas tourist guide project. Dinner at Jaleo. Hakkasan for Tiesto

Saturday day: Lavo Brunch. XS for Fedde Le Grand. Might try to get walked into Light after XS for Alesso.

Sunday: Rest/take pics/ or Hyde Bellagio for XIV. Steak Dinner. Table at Lavo Sunday night.

Monday: Go back to LA on the morning flight and right to work.

Though I don't share the overall opinion of Vegas as Captain Power, I'm going to post a link to his review because many of his perceptions do mirror mine's. He didn't like Vegas overall with relation to other vacation destinations he's experienced in the US (I respect that) though I really enjoyed my limited night out during a busy business trip there couple weeks back -

http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-25379-...#pid482089

I was just in Vegas for about a week as nothing happened first five days (sickness, work sched, etc).

Thurs night, I spent an hour on the strip in Wynn as there were plenty of hotties around. Not too many people but plenty of stares going around & just about the right atmosphere for approaches. I was wearing shorts, a preppy orange polo, and scruffy hair in the casino as chicks were smiling and conversing. Nothing however came into fruition as I had to sleep early for a long shift next day.

Friday night, I finally got off work around 10:40 PM after breaking down some furniture as I needed to veg out in my hotel room only to figure out I left my dress shoes at the convention center after showering & dinner. So with a late arrival at XS in Wynn around 12:40 AM ($35.00 cover), had some really bad stiff sober approaches at around 1:30 because I was an idiot who didn't buy tickets in advance. Really cool place as I got in a zone after drink 2 chatting up a bunch of different gals with very few of them being American.

In XS alone, I got a chance to interact with females that were:
1) Canadians
2) Spanish
3) Mexicans from DF/Monterrey
4) Americans
5) Singaporeans
6) Belarussians
7) Russians

Perhaps there were other nationalities there that I didn't have a chance to interact with. Went cave man on a Russian gal after learning her ethnicity as her English was semi-intelligble. Got hard patting, dancing, grinding, and eventually a short makeout but her lack of English I think made her too shy to proceed further not to mention she didn't want to lose her other Russian friends (whom didn't speak English either). To cap things off, there was a butchy watch dog who arrived late & struggled to utter "no more."

The theme of my trip was seeing so many Russians around, which I found to be quite a surprise. I think the more liberal visa policy for tourism between Russia/US is giving partygoers or families (saw many) a reason to visit well known destinations in the States now.

The DJ that night was Will I Am. I didn't know he played DJ sets but perhaps he was just side experimenting. As my friend mentioned, it was essentially him plugging in an ipod and pressing play lol.

Had a chance to go home with a midwesterner from Kansas (really cute face and slim body) as she bragged about how everybody needs to try a small town midwest gal like herself. After some touching and escalation, she asked where I was staying as I mentioned "not too far off from here" with her replying "just south of Wynn." At the instant, I should have replied "let's share a cab out of here" as I just let the convo die wondering what other talent could be had totally unaware that the crowds were about to jet in 20 minutes. We then got lost after her drunk sister had to use the restroom, who btw was really cool with me.

While in a zone, I rarely let a sure thing like that pass while then opting to talk to gals of other nationalities so that was a BIG notch screw up on my part. Passing up a layup in search of a three pointer really. It also comes to no surprise that an American was probably the most DTF out of all the nationalities there at XS.

I'd say the Strip and high end casinos are overwhelmed with hotties on Fridays/Saturdays (though they're all in a rush) but a chill Wed or Thurs is probably perfect for gaming at a casino because there are fewer but just enough women to cold approach asking for directions or where you can cash money out playing aloof yet charming tourist game. If I didn't have such a screwed up work schedule my last day, I wanted to arrive earlier at the Wynn while having dinner there, drinking at the machines, & just soaking in the vibe before clubbing opposed to what I did, which was rush in to XS after midnight.

I gotta say Vegas is a great place to just mingle with an innocent or clever opener while asking people where they're from and why they're in LV. People from all over the place gathered in a single party setting affords tourists an opportunity to get even crazier away from home & I believe that is quite the common denominator for quality swooping opportunities.

There's also a lot more entertainment options in Vegas than say 2009/2010 when last there. In 2009, it was mainly all top 40's music at clubs but the tide turned in 2010 when they started bringing in more House DJ's and live performers period with the scene building off that quickly.

In conclusion, wouldn't mind coming back to Vegas for vacation even alone as that gives me an opportunity to do all the things I want on my own agenda while having better logistics. I mean yeah there are a lot of dude packs who come all dressed alike but as Captain Power mentioned in his report...they have no game and rarely approach too. I have a friend who is running a race near Hoover Dam sometime in March so might try to return with him in a quest to preserve my fitness & game hoes.

so I'm tentatively planning on hitting up Vegas right after New Year's over the weekend of January 3rd - 5th.

But wondering how dead it might be this time of year given it's right after the holidays and everyone might be pretty partied out at this time - especially the weekend Cali crowd.

Also, I saw Mandalay has a good deal for The Hotel. I've stayed there a couple times for bachelor parties, and it was pretty nice. But even though it's technically 'on-Strip' wondering how the logistics really work there for swoop-ability given how its really way down the Strip away from the more central clubs at Wynn, Cosmo, etc. Just wondering - thinking Wynn or Venetian otherwise, but my buddies are trying to do it a little cheaper.

Thanks man. Yeah sorta what I figured - everyone will be partied out and it will be kinda slow. Still think I'll go - $117/night at THE Hotel is a pretty nice rate.

If it were me, I'd rather stay on the other side of the strip at the Wynn/Palazzo/Venetian. Mandalay is the very last hotel on the strip.
I stayed at the Palazzo last time and it was just about perfect. Got to use their Canyon Ranch Spa gym and its just more convenient of a location.

Oh, by the way, did Lavo Champagne Brunch a few weeks back. It was easily the best time I've ever had in a venue in Vegas. The quality and ratios of girls was about as good as you get. It was basically all rich ballers and super hot skinny girls dancing on tables and couches just crazy confetti, etc. It was pretty expensive though (ended up being over $400pp and that was the low end of things), but it was worth it. Saturdays 2pm-6pm in the winter..

You're kind of at the mercy of your location as it is basically only all tables with no dance floor and barely any room just to stand around, and most girls came there in mixed groups or comped at their own table. But we just made friends with the tables around us and we were all sharing the booze and women all afternoon.

The doors at the clubs in Vegas are so much looser than the clubs in Miami. It's good and bad.

Regarding hustler, the reasons you mention McQueen are part of the reason we like it. Since it's off the strip it doesn't get too crowded and you get a little more attention from the dancers. If you aren't dropping dough at sapphire or the rhino, they won't waist a second on you. Though sapphire and the rhino have better quality, it's top notch. But the talent at hustler isn't bad either. That and we have people who work there so were paying $5 for our drinks and free entry. I was there last Friday, we had a hell of a time. We brought our own girls. A couple ended up getting on stage and strutting their stuff.

I'm having a fucking blast here in Vegas. It's gonna suck to leave Sunday. My friends out here are fucking off the wall insane. One of my boys said he could get me an interview at one of the hotels and it would pay pretty good. Pretty sure I'd get the job, my resumes great and I speak 3 languages, plus I interview well. That was what I had planned to do for a while, but when it comes down to it, I think Miami is where I want to be. I think I'd die if I ended up in Vegas. My people out here go way too hard. Plus I don't like the desert, I need the beach.

My conclusion is Vegas goes harder, Miami does it classier. For me Vegas may have been better when I was 21-25, but now I prefer more laid back nights out than what I'm used to in Vegas, though Miami nights tend to get crazy as well. I want to bust out a Vegas vs. Miami data sheet but I'm still waiting to get a computer. Don't want to bust it out on my iPhone. I should have a computer lined up in the next couple weeks though.
