Live on a resort in the Philippines for 6 months FREE

Why would I want to live in that sweaty shit hole? How could the constant crowding of people help me be creative?

The heat, the noise, the pollution, the loud and obnoxious people, the rudeness, the envious glances, the constant expression of disdain in micro communication by the natives.

This is why these people are breaking down the door to get into the West. They also hate their shit hole.

I am not looking to house someone for 6 months, feed them etc.
I am looking for someone that is looking for a short vacation. A few nights up to a month. I will give them a free place to stay and in exchange they promote my property.

I am open to all trades. Got a phone, computer that you aren't using. Got a place in Miami, that you aren't using. Lets trade.

Ben. I think that your post assumes too many details. I mean from what i understand about big cities in the Phils, then generally, you may be correct about things that you are asserting.

However, the description of this work/lodging "situation" is supposedly that you are on a quasi-deserted island to manage some "paradise" resort, but we don't know whether that includes air conditioning or not or how many young girls are in the area. I mean that from the information that we have received, so far, I don't think we could assume some of the details that you are suggesting, except from what i understand about my reading of the Phils, maybe the unrelentless heat for the most part is applicable in all parts of Phils?

Ben were you in the Phils and know the various parts of the islands?

Dan Andrews runs http://www.tropicalmba.com

You should listen to his podcast too: http://www.lifestylebusinesspodcast.com

He successfully built a $1M/year biz exporting cat/pet products to the US. He's based mostly out of Bali, Philippines, and other spots in SE Asia.

I've always wondered about this. I've had a couple of people tell me they are 100% legit, but from what I've seen of their cat furniture business, I don't see how they could make 100K per month. I have to be missing something.

Here is their website, as far as I know: http://www.moderncatdesigns.com/
They have 5 products. Now, you can definitely make a lot of money with only 5 products, but it seems in a niche like cat furniture, buyers would be looking for more options and more designs. Maybe they need scratching posts, etc. that they currently don't offer. Maybe I'm wrong.

Next, their main keywords are "modern cat furniture" and "cat furniture". Modern cat furniture only gets searched 1,000 globally per month on exact match. Cat furniture gets searched 8,100. They rank on the 1st page for modern cat furniture, but not seeing it for cat furniture. Not a lot of traffic for a 1M per year e-commerce site.

Now, there are quite a bit of long tail keywords which get 50 to a couple hundred searches per month. However, their blog only has a handful of posts, and don't seem to be targeting any long tail keywords. The blog hasn't been updated in a year, and appears to be an afterthought, not used for traffic generation.

Maybe they have explained it in more detail, but i've got to be missing something here if that is a 1M per year e-commerce site. Maybe their traffic generation comes from magazines/websites/wholesale/etc. as opposed to organic traffic?

Anyone know more about it and how they are generating so much revenue?

check follow.net (https://app.follow.net) for this data

You'll see they only get 20% of there traffic from search (both paid and organic)

40% from direct sources which would be media buys.

After doing some quick research, it seems they sell their product line all over the internet. Tons cat furniture retailers carry their line, as well as Walmart.com through Wayfair.com. Allmodern.com, Amazon, etc. all carry their line as well.

I assume they dropship for all of these retailers. Anyone know more about it? Seems a great strategy. I can see now how they do 100K per month.

Also cat furnitures is only one of their products. They also sell portable bars to clubs, lounges and events and these are not cheap. They have a very systemized biz with offices in California and Manila. They have sales people in the US. As well as a big team in the Phils taking care of the Seo, web designing, CSR etc. Along with manufacturing in China. All in all, its a very well oiled machine, highly scaled to reach high volume and high sales figures. A big chunk if the bizz is done the old fashion way, that is with phone calls and face to face hustling through their sales force in the US.

Plus other smaller businesses on the side. So its not just one 7 fig biz but 2. It doesnt get any more legit than these guys.
