I am getting convinced that body weight training is best. And weights are best light with more reps. Heavy weights minimal. And hit the sauna, steam room on a regular basis.
Best Youtube Fitness Channels?
I've been checking out Ric Drasin's show pretty regularly. Really interesting spectrum of guests, but I find it's tough to find where he himself stands on some of the issues. I figure he's almost "too gracious" of a host, seein' as, say, Doug Brignole will come on and dispute the role of the big compound lifts, and Ric will agree with him, but on a John Heart episode that discusses how those lifts are an essential foundation . . . Ric will agree with him.
Check out it this guy, The Golden One aka Latsbrah.
I think he was mentioned somewhere on the forum before, in the migrant invasion of Europe thread.
Cool guy with good input about lifting, martial arts and fitness in general, but also about political topics.
He´s from Sweden, but is the antithesis of a typical SJW beta leftist for sure

Other than that, i can definitely recommend Elliott Hulse, he was mentioned before. Be sure to check him out if you don´t know him.

Is his info legit? I only ask because I am trying to boost my weightlifting performance (I have lifted for years but not in a scientific way). I hear alot about splits and one set of muscle groups a day, etc. Here is saying no.

@Samsamsam:
I think he is saying here to hit each muscle group more than only once a week.
I find most of his advice legit.

I'm interested in finding out which channels you folks subscribe to for finding good workout regiments.
For example, I just discovered TeeMajorFitness and he seems to be a beast

My body is my life. I'd trade it in for a better head, tho'

I frequent the forums on BodyBuilding.com and look up the videos for specific exercises once I've decided on the type of workout I'm planning on carrying out on that day.
One thing almost all these dudes have: a small hole in the wall gym. Dudes only; no distraction by hot yoga pants wearing fitness honeys walking around.
I don't want a clean 3-story fitness center with zumba rooms, a fleet of ellipticals, and tons of traffic and distracting females.
I want a grungy warehouse with a garage door on the side. Tons of weight and a handful of dudes who know their shit. Where do I find these places.

Been watching Athlean-X. Good stuff
I started my workout plan following this older guy, but obviously well trained throughout his life named Scooby. His website lists what exercises to do for what day and what muscle group. It is very helpful to start off with, and later on as I did, you can add in new exercises and alter the plan any way you want. I also recommend watching pro bodybuilders such as Victor Martinez, Kai Green, Phil Heath and Dennis Wolf. They have a lot of free videos on YouTube explaining how they work out a specific muscle group, for example Dennis Wolf is very fun to watch and has a video for every muscle group.
