Single Men In This Turkish Village Are Protesting

A single men have had a protest at a village in Turkey where women have refused all marriage proposals.

Over in a Turkish village named Uzumlu, the male population has taken to the streets in order to protest the fact that the females there refuse to marry them. The village only has a population of 233 and there are 25 single men aged between 25 and 45.

They can't get girlfriends because all of the girls who live there currently refuse to entertain the idea of settling down with them as they don't want to live in the village for the rest of their lives and would instead prefer to get out of it and head to the big city.

What's your opinion of this OP?

I can't really blame the women wanting to get as far away from Islamic slavery in some shithole village in Turkey.

Whatever the consequences.

What I find objectionable is that this recent women behaviour applies almost everywhere around the world. You can find a similar situation in Germany, where cities are full of slutty women.

Instead of MGTOW it seems we are witnessing WGTOW on a massive scale. There is a real crisis for Beta man around the world. Not everyone can become Alpha.

I bet this kind of protest will be coming to America and the western world.

Well most of the human population is forecast to live in cities very soon.

These guys are just gonna have to go there too.

Actions are worthy of my respect, not protests.

Not quite the "west," but in the advanced economic world:

Anti-Christmas protesters calling themselves “Losers with Women” marched through Tokyo’s streets Saturday, bashing the upcoming holiday as a capitalist ploy that also discriminates against singletons.

The group of about 20 people — part of the communist-inspired group that routinely protests Western holidays — marched under angry banners that read “Smash Christmas!” in Tokyo’s Shibuya district, where couples and families were engaged in holiday shopping.

The participants — mostly single men — said they were against capitalism and were opposed to the commercialization of Christmas.

“In this world, money is extracted from people in love, and happy people support capitalism,” said the head of the organization, formally called Kakumeiteki Hi-mote Domei, or the Revolutionary Losers’ League.

“Christmas is the most symbolic event for this,” he added.

The man, who identified himself only by the pseudonym MarkWater, said the rally was also in support of unloved men.

“Unpopular men, who don’t have a girlfriend or are not married, are overly discriminated (against). We want to break this barrier,” he said amid the shouting protesters.

On one hand, you can't blame anyone for wanting what they perceive as a better life. On the other, if you look at the social, economic and cultural problems faced by the West, it is being caused by women choosing to live a childless existence or having just having a single child.

Right, the dilution of the labor pool was created by the huge influx of women into the labor force starting in the 1970s/80s. It resulted in depression of wages and structural unemployment.

Prior to that in the middle of the 20th century, men could support their families on their salaries alone. Today, dual income families barely achieve the level of purchasing power that households with stay-at-home moms had in the 1950s.

Also the dissolution of the nuclear family created the scarcity in real estate. When a woman divorces her husband, she keeps the house and the husband must get his own place >>> demand for housing doubles. This raises the cost of housing.

Just wow. Really. Look at the people in the back of the protest march. These guys are so lame, they couldn’t stage a protest without their moms. OR — their mothers made them do this. Paraphrasing: “The women move away for better prospects, the men stay behind to manage inherited land.” Hasn’t every society dealt with this? These obviously wealthy landowners with solid family values (says mom) can’t lie enough to trick Russian mail-order brides or Syrian refugees into visiting exotic Turkey? I bet they’d jump at the chance to pump out three kids for the Prime Minister too — win win!

The fact is, and has always been, that womens value is granted whilst mens value is earnt. The result is that the best thing in life to be is a successful man, the next best thing is to be a woman, and the worst thing to be is an unsuccessful man.

Not even knowing them, I can guess that these men are unsuccessful, and have zero shit going on in their lives. The world grows, and capitalism advances into new stages, and men either keep up or are left behind. My guess is that their views on business and careers are stuck about 30-50 years in the past, and this is the cause of their poverty. The solution is that they need to bring some money in, like real men.

I have no respect for men that complain to politicians that women won't marry them, it's pathetic effeminate behaviour. In my opinion they deserve their situation.

You just know Erdoğan will sort this, it's right up his street.

In Britain there was a similar situation (in terms of people wanting to leave villages) after the first world war. The men who had fought had seen the world, and wanted more than a simple village lifestyle. The women followed.

That's how it used to be, and still is in some countries. You'd be born, raised, educated, work and die in your village. I suspect the same exodus to the cities occurred in America after the second or first world war too.

I completely disagree with you here and having this kind of mindset is only going to hurt you in the end. The whole purpose of game is to become "alpha" or to display/have qualities that are attractive to the opposite sex. In our quest to have better game, we learn there's much more to it, thereby becoming better men in the process. "Alpha" can be considered a state of mind/being that can be achieved with hard work & drive. Saying that everyone can't be "alpha" is defending people that have no interest in bettering themselves and becoming more than they are. Barring some horrifying disability or learning deficiency, any man can have the qualities of an "alpha" with the drive to do so.
