Queers now cutest couples in yearbooks

Reading Huffpo (clicked link in another thread, I don't read the thing), saw this hillarity:

Quote:Quote:

"Two of my best friends won Cutest Couple of our senior class. First time in my school history a same sex couple has even been able to run for this category, not to mention winning it. So proud of them, and my school."

I know a great deal of you fancy yourselves real liberal or libertarian, and think I sound like a cracker redneck, but I can't take this celebration of mental illness too much longer.

Yeah, its more like only gay couple. Yearbook should also have stuff like:

Most Likely to Switch Genders

Most Likely to take a Strapon up the Ass

Most Likely To Get A Masters in Philospophy before becoming a professional barrista.

The girl is right to be proud of these guys and her school. There's nothing more beautiful than when people come together to celebrate one guy's love for another guy's cock and ass. And it is a lot easier than - you know - actually accomplishing something that would justify pride.

The problem for me isn't that they are gay and won. It's that they won BECAUSE they were gay. In my high school, those guys would have been either an afterthought or ostracized (but not for BEING gay in and of itself, just because they would be rightfully viewed as pussies) and went on to come out after school and live their gay lives. Unfortunately, since we live in a PC Liberal Feminine Anti-Alpha-Trait World™, they are actually guaranteed to win a prize and be viewed as important simply because they are gay. No coincidence that they won even though it was the first year they were allowed to be considered in that catagory...

This is equivalent to protecting my rights because I take a piss on chicks. It's a preference of mine related to my sexual habits...should I be given special rights simply because I piss on chicks? So long as they associate homosexuals with "progressive" and "trendy" and "famous people" and all that shit, it's basically turning into an advantage. Without the checks and balances that the shamed "bullies" and "alpha males" (not that they are always one in the same), we're going to watch homosexuality and being female/castrated beta make being male more of a black mark than it already is.

Side note: This has to do with the elimination of bullying in schools. "Bullying" is part of social hierarchies in human society and is something that either teaches kids to toughen up or weeds out weakness in those who can't adapt. If you eliminate so-called "bullies", society will rapidly lose what we have for generations considered "normal" and weirdos will be given full control (because weirdos can't be bullies). Don't mean to keep raising new points as I try to wrap this up, but it's condescending too if you think about it: the reason people protect homosexuals is because they think they can't protect themselves. The reason why white superlibs fight for black rights and deride their own race is because they are implying that blacks can't do it for themselves. It's a ridiculous paradox.
