Unlinking Youtube and Gmail accounts?

A few months ago Google force linked Your Gmail and Youtube accounts. I have attempted to unlink them unsuccessfully. It seems that you have to delete your entire Google account for this to happen. I need my gmail but want a separate youtube account not linked to my real life identity at all.

Personally this linking pissed me off big time. I dont want Google knowing i Bricks (not i IP address) pretty much only enjoy watching twerk and fight vids.

I have done my google work to try and unlink but i still cant figure it out. Any Roosh forum computer wizzes have an idea?

This went around on the Web about a year ago. You can Google it. Early on some people found a way to do this, but I don't think you can anymore. I tried and tried and could not unlink.

After YouTube stopped letting you unlink with Google, they started in with demands that you use your "real name." I got so pissed I killed my account, which dated back to 2006 (before Google bought it). And it gets worse. Years ago, you could shut off your Google Web history* if you didn't want them cataloging all your searches. Last month, they made it so if you want to track your stocks in Google Finance, you need to turn on your Web history -- in other words, they get access to everything: what videos you watch, what stocks you track, every search you make. So I shut that down too and switched to Yahoo Finance.

I'm really sorry at this point I opted for a GMail account in '05. As soon as it's convenient, I'm shutting it down too. Between this and deliberately hiding politically incorrect search results, Google has turned into an invasive, controlling corporate pig.

* You may want to research Google's "Web history" feature since it's integral to what you're talking about.

Yeah, I just really hope that Google doesn't get invaded by something like feminism.

Google Glass would be the all seeing all knowing eyes of Big Brother once that comes out.

“I have a very simple rule when it comes to management: hire the best people from your competitors, pay them more than they were earning, and give them bonuses and incentives based on their performance. That’s how you build a first-class operation.”
― Donald J. Trump

Power corrupts... People supported Google initially because they were the new kid on the block, appeared to have a healthy disrespect for corporate nonsense, and had the better products. Nowadays, they still have good products, but they invade your privacy in ways that Microsoft never dreamed of back in the day.

There's no way in hell I'm going for Google Glass. Google already knows everything I search for, every video I watch, and every email I get, I don't need to give them the ability to monitor, record, or catalogue everything I see and hear, too. Increasingly with technology, there is no such thing as secrecy or privacy. As the Internet invades more and more aspects of everyday life, those ideals become more and more difficult to achieve.

Also for Easter they had a picture of a young Hugo Chavez on the search engine rather than mutant bunny that can lay eggs. So apparently Hugo Chavez is the Easter Bunny.

I hate that they did this. Such bad branding. It's making a lot of assumptions about the users.

That's like buying "Hanes-Cola"

or "Toyota-Burgers"

"McDonald's Panties"

"Victoria's Secret Jock-Straps"

"Hershey's Diapers"

"Chips Ahoy Engagement Rings"

Considering how fat this country is that'd probably be a hit product.

What is "Google Glass"?

Sounds like some new drug.

You can watch the uncensored youtube videos on the forum. Click New Reply, put the youtube link in the code box and Preview your reply. I have to do that since I don't have a youtube account.

The move towards making people use their real name probably has something to do with the comments. There are lots of people complaining that people troll YouTube, because it's anonymous. That's true, but so what? I'd rather know what sort of stupid shit people are really thinking than have everything sanitized.

It also pisses me off the way that Google does it. I watch a video and it asks me if I want to use my real name. I say no and it goes to a "Are you sure?" screen with no obvious way of dismissing it. What type of Orwellian shot is that. Of course I am fucking sure!
