I think it is because of not compatible cultures. English love freedom and Greeks have had a 2000 years slave mentality so the open display of freedom as done by English annoys us.
Also Greeks are rude in general and not polite while English are overly polite and they may take natural rudeness as hostility.
Also the Anglosaxon excitement how to call that? There is nothing like this in Balkans.Slavs are neighbours and friends, Germans are understood and respected as reserved, following the rules etc but many Greeks dislike when English show their asses in public or piss in the open.It is regarded as lack of respect in a beat down region.

Religion plays important role.For example Russians,Serbs are very welcome in Greece as orthodox.Russians may be drunk, carry guns or behave aggressively but it does not bother us since they are orthodox slavic they can do whatever they want.
There are different standards imposed on other nationalities,history and wealth play role.

Mostly they like Americans although they consider them naive.
Many dislike American politicians like Bush, Klinton for the wars they caused.

With Italians it is a tricky situation.They are considered close in mentality warm Mediterraneans but not reliable.We and Italians say about ourselves "una faca una raca" which means one face one race.
About Spanish the opinion is neutral although some revolutionaries like them.Generally there is a distrust towards catholics caused by the hundreds of years stigmatization by orthodox church which described Pope as demon etc.

Not only it's a fake, it is completely unbelievable to anyone knowing the first thing about Russia. This quotation would be a criminal offense in Russia, since hate speech against minorities is prohibited by law. This is no way at all that Putin speaks. He'd only speak against "terrorists", never against minorities.

In fact, the russian skinheads always accuse Putin of being too accomodating to minorities.
