Was in Madrid recently, total shitshow. Short hairs and shitty piercing everywhere. City has gone downhill quick 10 years ago it was full of hot pijas and chulas de barrio, lots of feminine girls around.
Now its pretty bad getting to BCN level of trashiness in local girls (which funnily enough seems to have gotten a lot better thanks to all the foreigners raising the bar).

I also think Spain has plenty of good looking ladies post 30 yo, at least compared to other Euro countries. Boozing? Women in the UK, Ireland, Scandi, EE drink way more than Spanish women. While the sun might make some of them look bad, most will have a light tan, much better in my opinion than British and Irish girls who are too pale. Also, the sun and being outdoors makes them stay in decent shape for longer than in other countries where the weather is shit for most part of the year, exceptions here would be most CE and EE.

Still, I don't think going to Span for Spanish women is a good idea, I lost interest in them many years ago and I can't even remember the last time I was with one, even though I go back home every summer. Latinas, blacks and EE girls are much more appealing to me, not just looks wise but personalities, too.

Barcelona must be the worst city in Spain for Spanish girls, it's fucking disgraceful over there. Lots of tourists who make things much better, that's for sure.
Best place for Spanish girls must be the Canaries and Andalucia, in that order.

I have been in Madrid and Barcelona recently and I prefer Madrid. I recommend to stay in hostel (albergue) with your own room. This the place where you can play the girls that traveling alone. The problem is that the prices of these hostels are getting high..almost the prices of hotels..
In Madrid if you can dance salsa you should go to places like azucar (plenty of spanish girls that love dancing salsa). In there is easy to talk and dance with them while in another places they are very rude.

It seems like along with Italian women, Spanish women really hate their own men for casual sex and have a strong preference for Northern European men when it comes to that. I have had friends who were Dutch, Scandinavian and Anglo (usually all of them blondes) and they seemed to claim that they were shooting blanks at the end of their trip in Spain.

It almost seems like Spain and the Mediterranean are like Thailand and Brazil when it comes to the preference of women. Not to go down that route too much but do local women in Spain feel a bit insecure about their appearance compared to their sisters in Northern Europe and as a result want more Scandinavian looking babies?

Sadly, in Spain you do not get foreign factor unless you are handsome. Spanish women prefer spanish, italian and argentinian men because they are hugely lametacones and huelebragas (heels-sucking and panties-smellers). They jump to all the hooks women make, showering them with attention. Therefore, a normal german guy is too "soso" (not exciting). The effort you need to find a suitable spanish girl for something serious is so big, that I wouldn't advise to invest in that unless you plan to live here, love the culture, etc.

If you want to fuck spanish girls, best way to do it is during their Erasmus exchange outside spain. Or even better, if they live in your country (germany, uk, etc). They break the social norms there and convert in great whores, sadly.

You think so? I don't see this happen very often man. "Guiris" is what spaniards call the northern european tourists (somewhat despectively) , and its not a good look for a Spanish girl to be seen with a guiri unless he's very much part of the social group and peer-approved.

I don't really recall any situation where you had some guiris hanging out with a spanish group. Weird I know - but I'll let other spaniards chime in here too
