Colombia's craigslist?

Anabody know of the best craigslit-esque site(s) in colombia? I know they do have Craigslist but it's not very popular. For apartments, I've had great luck with comparato-apto but I'm looking more to post an ad offering English classes, stuff for sale, etc.. Thanks! Probably doesn't make mch difference but I'm in Bogota.

There's none. You ask through your friends. But there's MercadoLibre but it's not really that popular, and is not really like craigslist.

Interesting that you ask. We tried something similar after my year in LA, and the biggest barrier was that the poverty rate is so high, and the tech illiteracy is to high as well, the solution we provided was always under used. Poor people who go to internet cafes only care about Facebook and porn, apparently. I would try again in a few years if the tech illiteracy goes down for sure, but I'm afraid that I'll be long gone by then.

Anyone know how to use MercadoLibre in Colombia without having a local national identity document?

It looks like you're out of luck if you're a gringo unless you have the Cédula de Extranjería, which a tourist wouldn't have.
