I removed them guys. A trusted and wise senior member of the Forum made the recommendation (even though he liked them). If you are interested send me an e-mail and I will attempt to get them to you if I am in port with a connection; otherwise it will be in 4-6 weeks when I return from being out to sea.

Cheers,

NTP

Needless fearmongering. You guys are starting to sound like false rape accusers. I've exchanged numerous PMs and emails with NTP (through a burner address), where he's never asked for personal information, but freely volunteered personal details about himself without being prompted.

I was initially skeptical about NTP months ago, but subsequent conversations have shown a consistent pattern of accuracy and a degree of knowledge that a layman would not have access to.

A while ago I raised a topic which only a high level officer would be aware of, and he responded in a way that showed both an awareness and a wider recognition of the topic at hand that only someone with direct experience could relay. This is not simply a case of leading questions or confirmation bias- I've been corrected on certain topics which I've had to concede.

I'm sure others have had similar confirmations of their experience when it comes to Surfing, Sailing, Geopolitics and Monetary connections, Flight Schools, Military operations, Venezuela experiences, and so on. Most people have not experienced a life that encompasses such a wide variety of topics. It is understandable for those to be skeptical about what they can't relate to, but unwise to dismiss it before further examination.

In my opinion, there are two ways to react to unfamiliar information. One can consider the information with an open mind, and attempt to educate themselves further with a perspective they had not explored before. Or, if it does not perfectly match their fragile worldview, to attack and resent it.

Adult men often do not like being told they are wrong, or that they have much to learn on topics which they have devoted many hours of their lives pursuing. We build up egos based on our perceptions of ourselves, and we invest a great deal of emotion in them. It is an understandable aspect of human nature, but nonetheless an inexcusable impediment towards our growth as men.

At the end of the day you can only take 1 mans opinion with a grain of salt. Almost all media and news is reporting that the country is about to shut down and default. There may/may not be a civil war or military coup coming up soon. The base facts are Venezuela is out of money/ can't pay for basic goods. They are jailing businesses/owners who can't even provide food anymore. The food storages are limited the money is toilet paper and the hospitals are shutting down.even before this past 2 year downturn Venezuela was known as one of the most violent places on earth, how do you think the violence is now? The government places the blame on the USA so they are not getting any help from us. Their closest allies are Brazil and Colombia and Colombia has had a falling out with them through out this past year and Brazil's government is going through a similar problem as Venezuela and its president/presidents party who were giving Venezuela money can no longer offer any support as they are struggling to stay in power themselves..

So the real question is after knowing all this shit about the country and its impending doom, is it really worth going there just to chase pussy?

One of the girls I know in Venezuela says they're likely going to close the airports soon. Not sure how accurate her claim is, but I wonder what will happen to the foreigners looking to get out right now.

The note says "RVF Forum Feb 2016" but was posted in April 2016. How can we trust this guy?!?!?!

And to resize images, just thrown in a =640x360 after img and before ].
It looks like this, without the spaces [ img =640x360 ] image url [ / img ]

ETA: To resize with proper ratio, right click image, inspect element or view properties, get the image size (808x606 in this case), and adjust the =640x360 accordingly. For this image that would mean 640x480

He posted that picture in February on another thread.

It lines up just fine with his timeline. See earlier post in this thread.

It took me over a year to figure out how to attach an image and over two years to figure out how to insert multiple ones into a single post.

I was in Venezuela for 3 days in January of this year. If you're a traveler looking for raw adventure in addition to chasing the poosy, would definitely recommend. Wasn't in a major city, from what I hear, crime isn't as common in small cities.

Couple of my friends supposedly had to deal with some shitty corruption, but the one time I did, it was awesome. Was out on the street at 3AM after clubbing. Cops pull us over and ask what we're up to, where we're going, etc. They end up being our taxi back to the hotel with full lights/sirens on for $3. A 10 minute cab ride would cost $1.50. Beer was $0.30. Majority of girls fine as hell, curvy just how I like them.

And the picture NTP posted, that's like $100. Fun at first, but gets really annoying after about an hour.

Is anyone brave enough to actually be in Venezuela right now? I saw what was going on with the currency this month and it reminded me of this thread.

The Venezuelan bolivar is tanking at insane rates against the dollar now. The black market rate is now almost 4000 Bolivar per US dollar. Inflation is out of control and shit is getting even worse with the food and medicine shortages.

What a sad waste of a country full of hot chicks.

A shit ton of them moved to the bordertowns in Colombia so I guess you might find them there. Lawyers turned into dishwashers, and so on. It should not be hard to pull a bitch who fell from grace. I'd assume things are worse off inside Venezuela, some folks say it's quite dangerous but there's only one way to know

I have been a few times to Venezuela over the past year. It's getting worse, food selection is crap unless your a foreigner with USD to exchange to a high rate of BSF in order to pay for the top restaurants. Right now Colombia is so much better on every level, (except beaches and water-sports...Venezuela wins on this point)

Interestingly enough I just returned from a long weekend in Panama City and was blown away by the amount of Hot young Venezuelans working there in hotels, restaurants, and bars....all replied it's due to the fact they can earn dollars in Panama.

My take is the hot, smart, and more moneyed up Venezuelans got the fuck out to Miami, NYC, while they could and the Venezuelans with less money migrated into countries like Mexico, Panama, and Colombia that do not require visas. I am noticing more and more Venezuelans in Bogota....have a date tomorrow with one who arrived a few months ago shockingly also looking for work and living with 3 girls in one room......

I hooked up with a gorgeous Venezuelana when I was in Panama in May. I went back to visit her in October. Easily one of the most beautiful and feminine women I have ever been with.

She is working in Panama and trying to get Panamanian citizenship. She was frustrated because the attorneys she was working with in Venezuela are not getting things to her in a timely fashion.

The problems she is running into is that the Venezuelan government offices are often times not open. She is worried about meeting deadlines for the Panamanians.

She was planning on heading home in a few weeks for Christmas to see family and try to get the paperwork straightened out. She has been sending money to her family and her sister just had another child. She hasn't been back for over a year.

She told me things are very bad there now.

A friend who came with hooked up with a Venezuelan as well. He flew her up to Playa del Carmen last month.

She told him how bad things are getting in her town: if people catch you stealing, they don't wait for the police. They douse you in gasoline and set you on fire!

Like Baron Rothschild said "Buy when there is blood in the streets." Somebody is going to make a lot of money when Venezuela goes from bad to less bad.

"Buy when there is blood in the streets."

This whole inflation thing is really testing me. On the one hand, I´ve been living in Latin America for three years, speak fluent Spanish, got some spare cash, know a bunch of Venezuelans and am experienced in going into ´dangerous´ countries.

On the other hand, every Venezuelan I know tells me it´s too dangerous.

Nevertheless, what are the risks of going into Caracas or Valencia, buying a sweet loft for 1/10th of the price in the West, getting the fuck out and wait till times are better. Off course worst case scenario is that the government takes your property or that you get harmed in some way during the visit. But best case scenario is you take huge profit in an investment and will soon have a solid base in the next pussy paradise.

We should make a RVF Venezuela squad and have power in numbers for our safety and do a quick scouting mission.

One Venezuelan I know from Miami told me people price their real estate in USD because they know the Bolivar is so fucked. I don't know how true or widespread that is, but that's what I've heard and one reason we potentially haven't heard about dirt cheap real estate in Caracas.

Edit: Seems like bullshit though because Century21's Caracas site has all the places priced in Bolivar. Who knows if the shown asking prices would be jacked up though based on the new/rapidly changing exchange rates....

I'm in! I remember seeing a You Tube video a few months back. The guys travel all over and he was talking about how he got robbed inside the airport!

Another thing I do remember, he said things were so bad that women were prostituting themselves for things like soap and toothpaste.

As long as they send all their big tittes and ass bishes, we're all good homie.

I sure as hell won't complain about that.

But once they hit American soil, within months they'll have adopted the culture, bad attitudes, and lack of femininity as western women.

They are not faking anything - the media and people on this board who have never been in Venezuela are making things more dramatic than they are!

I read somewhere that real estate values, especially high end and luxury are actually holding up - at least in USD. They're seen as one of the only in-country hedges against rampant hyperinflation. I wish I could find the link to that, but it's one of those weird ironies you find in weird economic situations.

My friends in Argentina made a killing off RE buying during the 1999-2002 debacle and selling in 2007-2008. Not doing so great this time around when they bought after the whole Kirchner mess but they're hoping for a similar turnaround.
