I am thinking about moving to Lviv, Ukraine, but job opportunities are not as good and probably lower income than RUssia, but cheaper than Russia and very friendly, close to Europe and conveniently compact. Southern Russia would be good since it is near by where I live now and you get better paid. I'm thinking about Rostov-na-donu, Sochi, Vladikavkaz or Krasnodar. What do u guys think? Right now I working on a teaching gig. BTW I have never been to Russia, however I do speak some Russian, basic Ukrainian and Polish.
Russia or Ukraine(spec. Lviv or southern Russia)
you make more in Russia. If flat is provided it is a no brainer. Housing would be the major cost.
How receptive are Russians(males and females) to Foreigners(I Mean non-slav looking people)? I know they don't like people from Caucus and Central Asia. I hear cost of living is a lot of higher though. What worrying about thugs and drunks in clubs or streets in Russia, just keep low-key and be smart?
I have problems looking confused and lost all the time, even after living a place after weeks.

I went to a hair dressers in a plaza and had a woman from Lviv cut my hair. She is smoking hot and is 42. No kids but married for 4 years. Her husband, Italian-Canadian brought her over. Doesn't have the curves that I dig, but she dresses great, stylish, slim and has a gorgeous face.
They generally do nOt like non whites. Most even prefer Slavs. Xenophobia rules. If you get them away from social circle anything is possible
