Where are RVF'ers going to spend New Year's? I still haven't planned what to do but I'm open to just about anywhere international or domestic. Help me out if you have ideas. Give me the low down on the hotspots in different countries/continents. I will go wherever.
New Years Destinations
I'm going to Thailand, paying far too much for everything, as I always do for the holidays.
I'll be in Poland through the new year. Right now I'm in Krakow and it's very nice...but leaving for Wroclaw on Tuesday.
I think Krakow and Warsaw (big cities) will definitely be hot spots for New Years, but I have some of the second-tier cities on my radar too.
Not sure if the cold Polish weather suits you, but if so, let me know and we'll see if Roosh and some of the others are interested in the Poland forum meet-up he mentioned a few months back.
Also, I'm here from DC (your city) and the difference with women is just unbelievable. Much more feminine and overall just more pleasant.

Snowboarding in Austria!
Nothing special, at home with my family in the Austrian Alps.
To be honest, I couldn´t care less about New Year´s Eve, never understood why people make such a fuss about it. I would often spend it at home with my dog, sitting in the bath, reading a good book and trying to calm the poor guy down, haha. (Seriously, New Year is a horror for animals. Some of my friends have to spend it in the stables to calm the animals down. It´s usually the horses which are most anxious about it.)

New Orleans
I'm thinking I'll be making a move to NYC with a few friends, but if that falls through probably hit a local party or cross the bridge to Canada.
Nice. I know a bunch of guys going to Thailand. Logistically that isn't feasible for me off jump but maybe I can work around that. Thing is, that's just too much damn time to be on a plane for a short trip.... My main considerations right now are Barcelona, Lisbon, Playa del Carmen, or north coast of DR. So far one homeboy is in.
I might go to Kaunas for New Years. Perhaps I take the train or hitchhike there.
Book - Around the World in 80 Girls - The Epic 3 Year Trip of a Backpacking Casanova
My new book Famles - Fables and Fairytales for Men is out now on Amazon.

Much the same. NYE is, IMO, way overblown in the U.S. People that normally don't drink are out getting drunk and showing their asses. Cops are out in brute force. Forget about taxi's. Back home I avoid that night like a case of hyper African Black Label Butt Herpes.
I have never thought it was a good night to pull either.
I've found that big international holidays or events in popular locales (I.e. New Years or Oktoberfest), tend to ruin the environment and are best avoided. If you have to travel somewhere on New Years, think of smaller lesser known spots. Try Lebanon or Israel for the beach, or the French Alps for the mountains.
I'm trying to think of something to do, but travel around this time is just crazy expensive, as is the price of everything else. I'm heading to FL near Xmas, and car rental prices are jacked up through the roof. After New Years they are down 50% from what I'm paying.
My main gripe with traveling for NYE is any major "destination" spot is going to be taaaaaxed, prices can easily go up 20-50% compared to other times of year. Rio de Janeiro has got to be the worst, as counterintuitive as it seems I try to avoid Brazil during NYE and Carnival just due to the prices, wanted to go this year, but the time between NYE and Carnival was too short, and didn't wanted to be required to book one week stays at insane prices for those holidays.
Edit: Damn Menace posted close to the exact same thing, while I was typing this up.

I've had fun usually for New Years. You spend money but that's pretty much expected. It's good to do something, whether a little or a lot.
My most epic NYE was in Buenos Aires ringing in 2010. Met an Australian chick and immediately got her to leave the venue. Went to a love hotel and I splattered her face after some great sex. That memory continues to inspire me to make NY's plans every year.
I prefer to be overseas this time. I think Playa del Carmen/Cancun is the move.

Maybe you should go to Sydney. You seem to have a thing with Aussie girls that works for you.
I'm banging Iceland. Tix were not that expensive, lodging was very cheap, go figure.

Yeah man. Australian chicks have consistently shown me love. I will make a run in 2013 but for NYE I don't want to be on a plane for too long if I'm only going to have a few days to play. I would have to fly from East to West and then a marathon flight across the Pacific. Not ideal right now.
Mexico is close and there's girls from all over in Playa del Carmen (Aussies, EU and Scandinavian, as well as nice Mexican rich girls). I have talked my boy into it. I will drop a data sheet when I get back.
Me and about three RVF members have decided on Montreal. Hencredible... what you think about Montreal on NYE. Im still alittle bit skeptical, just alittle bit.

Oh man, I would love a data sheet on Mexican beaches that attract cream of the crop women actually from Mexico and other foreigners besides just American couples!
Next weekend, heading to Mexico City, then to Madrid through Christmas and then Barcelona before I head back home to TX for NYE. NYE...I just sleep, haha.

I think Montreal has lots of girls year round. I've never been there outside of the May-September time frame, but from my friends who have been in winter there are still plenty of girls in the city. Roosh was just there in like November. He said the talent was strong. If you can stomach what will undoubtedly be cold weather, I say might as well. There will be chicks.

I'm trying to connect with Roosh in Europe next year. Won't have much time but a long weekend could do. You guys just staying in Poland? Would like to check out Berlin or something.
I just booked a ticket to Taiwan. It seems to get pretty good reviews and is sufficiently off the beaten path that the prices are sane.
Nice. I know a cute girl in Taiwan. Met her in SF two years ago. I'm heading to Playa del Carmen. David Guetta is performing there for NYE. There's also a BPM Festival from Jan 4 - 13 so I'm sure some of those folks will be around as well. Looking forward to it based on InternationalSwagger's success there. He ran through a few chicks in a short span of time.
Much thanks to Kava for his intel on Mexico, en especial Playa del Carmen.
I'll be in PDC in two weeks, but I'm not sure how long I'll stay, since I don't want to spend too much time heavily surrounded by tourists, but I'll have a whole month to explore Mexico.
While in PDC, I'll probably do one night out on the town.
Found this site which does a multi-club, all you can drink tour.

There's also a pretty good PDC forum that has a wealth of information on it, I need to find the link.
Hope the OP has a good time in PDC.
