with wing at bar: open groups solo, or together?

with wing at bar: open groups solo, or together?

I doubt it matters much, but does anyone have thoughts or data on this?

If you're with a solid wing and there are two+ girls, does one of you begin the interaction with the other sliding in momentarily? Or do you both charge in simultaneously?

For the simple reason that usually one guy works up the gumption and a decent line in a given instant, I've only experience with the former. I suspect, however, that interrupting with a line that involves both of you together would command their attention better.

It depends on who my wing is, but when I'm with my most solid wingmen - it's usually the later - we both charge in simultaneously.

Honestly though, I don't think it matters much, but I'm interested to see others comments on this.

I doubt it matters, so long as it looks natural. Don't want to look like it's some orchestrated effort with canned material.

I've watched some clips of Mystery's boot camps online, he strongly advises against "tandem hunting", stating that it makes you look beta in the eyes of women. I think there is something to that, but he made a big deal out of it, I'm not sure it is that important. He did say that it is best to open solo, mention you are with a friend, have the wing approach a minute or so later, and then introduce your wingman to the set.

I like opening solo.

I recently opened a 3 set, solo. Basically went up to the least good looking one and asked her what is deal with the band (had terrible live music at the bar...so bad). She seemed chilled out and then I asked her how she knows the other girls, so she introduced them both. After a few minutes of vibing with all three by engaging in a conversation about how women feel about turning 30, I got the hottest girls number RIGHT in FRONT of the 3 set, with the least good looking one and her other friends ENCOURAGEMENT.

Now I am not saying that this happens all the time, but when it works, it's so sweet [Image: smile.gif]

If it is a somewhat "synthetic" swoop I like to roll in Dolo. But I usually roll Dolo anyways.

If you are with a super strong running partner, none of it matters.

If you are with a solid running partner, a good move is to roll in solo and have him come by to say whats up.

Here is a great move for racetracks called "I Knew it", that I invented:

In closing, here is a great custom move to use on girls at the track (and I have used this move so many times with success, I don’t mind giving it up): Spot two fly socialite girls like a Cheetah. Have your running partner roll over to them (suited down of course) and sprack up a conversation. Doesn’t really matter, could be about anything, just be charming, witty, and hold their attention. Next you “roll up” on them like sleeves, ignore the girls and say to your Running Partner “Remember we have ten Grand riding on this race” right before the announcer says “And there off!” Follow the Race and ignore the girls completely. This is very important. Become a little more animated as the horses are coming down the final stretch, remember, and don’t specify which horse or horses you are pulling for. As the horses come Thru the Wire (and I don’t mean that Kanye track with that dope Chaka Kahn sample, Through The Fire), say “I knew it!” and give your running partner a Pound. Maybe throw something else in there like “I told you….that’s three races in a row now!” Girls will already be completely sold on you. If you want to torture them, wait for them to introduce themselves. If you don’t want to punish them too much, Introduce yourself, and invite them for a drink at the bar. Ignore all questions about which horses you had or who you have on the next race, or greet there questions with your index finger up to your lips, like you would “shhhhh”. No need to make the sound. Invite them to your table at the finish line.
