The infamous "I lost my cell phone line" - colombianas

I have noticed from x number of girls I have banged in Colombia, and x number of girls my buddies have banged in Colombia - there seems to be one common line that women use all the time - to keep you in check when they are with someone else.

"I lost my cell phone, that is why I have not called you, but I will call you back as soon as I have a new one"

Colombian women Live and die by their cell phone, ain't it funny that soooo many "lose" it...It's amazing how I counted the times I've heard that, and shared it with my buddies, and how many times they themselves heard the same shit...

Even Roosh recently posted a girl telling him this exact line in his latest thread.

Well, I got news for you; they haven't lost it at all!

You see, in Colombia, a market of 80% prepaid cell phone service - people do not have fancy call filtering applications like 'iblacklist' for the iphone, where you can filter exactly how your phones handles calls in just about any situation you can imagine, even text messages, and specific times or days of the week.

The few that do have iphones in Colombia, are too dumb to even use it.

What is really happening is that she has recently met a guy, or already has someone that holds first place, and you are just an orbiter/placeholder just in case he does not work out - your a standby in the wings!

Another scenario is that she recently slept with a guy, she regrets doing, and now - the needy guy has become a nightmare for her...

Or, she gave a guy her number, and had a change of heart, except that he has become a huge needy bastard who calls her 4x per day. Or last, but not least, she just slept with her x boyfriend one last time, and now feels like a total idiot, and needs to block him out again.

All of the above will immediately trigger an "I lost my cell phone" line as she gets a new sim card.

Another common tactic is her answering the phone and pretending to not hear you!

"hello, hello....hello - I cannot hear you...hellloooo"

Bullshit, she hears you screaming on the other line just fine!

A girl once tried that one me, and I immediately said (in spanish) "I said you're a fucking whore".....VOILA! "What did you call me?" Its a miracle, she suddenly has excellent reception and can hear me calling her out her name!

When a woman does the old "I cannot hear you" trick, it only means one thing - she is in a motel having sex at the exact moment you called (yeah, they actually pick up the phone to make sure its not her mother or family calling), or she is having a great date with someone that is about to lead into sex, and does not need you messing the vibe up.

I have busted many women doing these techniques to me...learn to get around them, or know where you stand when they are used on you - ......and they will be.

Women play the same game we do, but to them, they are doing it much better than we are....because we are dumb enough to believe (or so they think, and some men do) that in Colombia, a country that relies heavily on cell phone use, this can innocently happen.

Don't be fooled. Women guard their cell phones more than their own virginity and punani...so many cell phones are lost daily! I'm talking thousands!

I have yet to find a lost cell phone in my 7 years of walking the streets of Colombia.

Talk about things that make you go ..."hummmmm"

Food for thought :-)

armanid27,

Good data sheet. Funny too.

Question.

I have recently been experimenting with some old-school Game, that is swooping girls without my cell phone.

With all you said, I am going to Cartagena soon.

Do you think I can pull off "No Cell Phone Game" there, or do you think it will be too much of a handicap?

Gmanifesto - not having a cell phone in Colombia is a serious handicap.

You see, all women play the text messaging game in Colombia, and you will have to call them 100% of the time, because they NEVER have minutes available to call you - and they NEVER leave voice mails or check any voice mail that you leave them - its costs precious minutes. Unless, you are their primary cock.

Cell phones are cheap - you can take one from here to Cartagena, and just buy a sim card for 10 dollars, and fill it up with $30USD worth of minutes.

I recommend taking a razor V3 unlocked, do not walk around with an expensive iphone/blackberry or HTC Hero in plain sight.

Everyone has a v3 cell phone in Colombia, and its a very common phone.

For the little trouble it takes to get a sim card, I'd say - don't risk not having one.

hey, when are you in Cartagena? Love to meet up with you in May when I am in Colombia.

Shorts/T-shirts are the norm in Colombia during day/night game don't forget. It will be way too fucking hot to wear a suit, and sport the custom Armani suits....You'll be sweating like you just ran a 10 mile marathon in minutes!

Picture wearing a suit in 95 degrees with 100% humidity, and walking around in it.

Maybe I will get a phone then. I have been going old school No Cell Game lately to circumvent the whole text message thing which drives me crazy.

I pulled off No Cell Game back in Dec in Dominican Republic, so I was thinking I could pull it in Cartagena as well. Real artistic.

Yeah, I am not going suited down in Cartagena. Was thinking more: Formula for Resort Style http://www.thegmanifesto.com/2006/05/for...style.html

Basically, slacks, dope short sleeved shirts, dope shoes at night. Fresh tropical style. Thoughts?

(I would like to chop it up, but I will be in Spain I think in May. Side note: I have been working on my Salsa Game heavy).

armanid27,

"Keep at the salsa game, it will be a very powerful weapon of seduction in your already dangerous arsenal!"

Yeah, my Game is wrapped so tight these days the drug dogs can't smell it.

These days I am all about improving my weapons. Your original salsa post had perfect timing. I had made up my mind to get better already, and your post pushed me over the edge. I owe you one.

What are your thoughts on my gear/clothes ideas for Cartagena? On target?

The gear you picked is definitely on point! Cartagena women are not used to seeing fly dressed men with tightly wrapped game, so you will have a huge advantage out the gate. You will stand out, and that will work for and against you at the same time. The pros are that women will see you as someone interesting to meet. The con is that you will also attract attention from annoying street hookers and vendors. They will be like mosquitoes on a horses ass that you just cannot get rid off.

I'll pm you my email addy in the event you need any help while there translating etc.

Remember, Cartagena is not what the rest of Colombia is like - far from it. It's the las Vegas of colombia without the MGM or huge city hotels. You are not a novelty, and rich tourists are everywhere. So, I recommend a second trip to Cali or Medellin fir the real deal.

"The con is that you will also attract attention from annoying street hookers and vendors."

I can handle them no problem. The only thing I worry about is 3 cats in the shadows with guns. But I have a style of dressing that is understated yet dope for these environments. It's an art really.

Yeah. Cali, Medellin and Bogota are all up on it. Like a Charlotte Hornet.

If figured Cartagena would be a good one for me since I have a predilection for beaches.

@G

I rocked no cell game fine in Medellin. It felt really old school planning stuff in advance, but you have the perfect reason not to have a cell phone-- you are traveling.

Plus making plans can be good. I did use some emails actually. And Facebook chat a bit. But no cell phone. I tipped one dude about a dollar so I could use their phone, when I wanted to find the chick, he was happy with it.

Of course you could cop a pre-paid pretty easily.

But I didn't think the lack of a cell hurt my game. Were I going long term I would have had one.

@Armanid

Damn straight. Women guard their cell phone more than anything else.

Getting a local cell phone number is the very first thing you should do when you arrive in a new country.

Before you even check into a hotel.

Even if you are only in the country for a day or two. Trust me I have banged girls that I would have not banged had I not had a local number.

don't expect crystal blue waters like you may have seen in Dominican Republic. Cartagena is a beach city, but the water is murky and extremely dark. People just tan, nobody really gets on the water because of rip currents, extremely deep and really dark waters.

The best waters and beaches are in Santa Marta. Cartagena beaches suck in my opinion.

G, if you MUST stay in Cartagena instead of hitting another part of the Colombian coast, I highly recommend taking one of the chicks you meet on a day trip on the Islas de Rosario. They have boats that go out there, its cool to just chill. The beaches there are WAY better than around the city. The difference is like night and day.

Oh and Armanid, I've had like 3 differnt chicks in Latin countries (Peru, Costa Rica) do the old "I cant hear you mi amor" to other guys when I was naked in bed next to them.

I just laughed inside.

Yeah, I am aware of that going in. I may hit up Santa Marta as well. Do you like Santa Marta nightlife?

"I highly recommend taking one of the chicks you meet on a day trip on the Islas de Rosario."

Thanks for the tip, I was thinking of hitting that up as well. Con chica.

yeah , it's fucking funny! I've been on both sides, and a girl actually had full fledged conversation with her mother as I was muff diving! Lol! Then as she could not take it, came the " I cannot hear you line, and hung up before screaming in pleasure" [Image: wink.gif]

Oh wait! Here's the MOTHER of them all! When you hear this one, she was no doubt getting Jack-hammered!

"I was at a finca with my family, and I had no signal all weekend".

Bullshit, if she was truly, and honestly with her family the first thing she would make sure of is communication with her girlfriends, and boyfriends or she would die of boredom!

She was at a finca allright (countryside home with a pool), but she was not with family.

Hilarious, especially:

I figured as much with the lost cell phone excuse. If I lost my cell phone I'd have another within 12 hours, yet they sure take a while.

Thanks - yup - just got an "i've been having phone isses" after a 4 day hiatus of responses from a Columbiana. Thought it was BS but gave her the benefit of the doubt until now. New to the South American game and looking to improve my craft...

I think that it was having fun to make it this basis. I've wanted to rock also this no cell game. It is because even I lost my cell phone I have a chance to find or get another one. This might be interesting for our old school.

Well you got that right, that is the first thing I do ask the driver to take me to a shop so I can get a sim card so I can start contacting naughty flames. Then no worries. Eidoos77. [Image: idea.gif][Image: sleepy.gif][Image: idea.gif]

Tell them that you found it LOL !!! Of course, you would've had to see it. Now watch her fumble. Maybe, it may backfire, but since she's lying, why don't you mess with her a bit for shits and giggles.
