Okay, scratch that, they just rejected my press application lol. They stated they're changing their press policy since the shows are now "live" streamed. They won't be accepting any random press company that's willing to pay.

I could still try to just crash it, but not really worth the time and cost of driving and booking hotel there just to "try".

Yes, I think this could work in Berlin. I was actually considering coming to Berlin in July for their Fashion Week, it was only 20 euros for a press pass last time I checked. I might give that a shot instead.

Told ya. And if you really wanted in and you're in the area , just game a model and ask for a pass that way. Shouldn't be that hard.

That I didn't think about. Good approach!
How much time did you invest in gaming before you had one. In other words how easy is it to get a pass from the models. Since you said "Shouldn't be that hard.". Did you try it out or just an idea of yours?

I think some guys were hinting at it but don't think anyone addressed it directly.. you can achieve the same results, just in a smaller pool of people, e.g. "big fish small pond" if you just join some sort of social activity or recreational hobby and start inviting everyone you meet in it to an event you throw every week- whether it's bar night on Wednesdays or a dinner party every Sunday.

For example in my bartending class I had a "bartending" party at the end I invited everyone to, I banged the hottest girl in the class that night. A small group of friends I had (all pooahs) used throw a weekly dinner party we'd invite mostly girls we'd met during the week to. Because we were the ones putting together the event the girls were SUPER receptive to fucking us. I remember one of these dinner parties we had I was at a table with 3 girls, 2 of them had boyfriends with them but I'd hooked up with ALL of them haha. Was awkward as fuck for them haha. You can create and exploit local celebrity status pretty easily.

Being social with every person you meet is the easiest way to gain fame. Start locally and build outward.

My own experiences have taught me that you don't have to be anything more than friendly, outgoing, and likeable. I can't go anywhere in my town without running in to people that want to stop and say hey from nothing more than being that friendly person.

I've overheard people asking someone ," how do you know that guy,?" To which the response would be, " I don't really... Met them at so and so doing whatever and he was just a cool guy."

Its social proof, mystery, and fame/infamy rolled in to one. Its elegant in its simplicity.

When I started playing gigs in my town my exposure and recognition sky rocketed but it all started by talking to everyone and leaving them with a good impression.

I could give a detailed breakdown of steps if you'd like to build some fame for yourself and I promise if you try it you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I work in the finance industry but when girls ask what I do I say "I work in corporate finance"... It insinuates that I am successful, rich and powerful. My advice is throw the work corporate in front of your job title

"Girl flex, time to have sex..."

Holy Shit!!!

This is the same song I do when I do karaoke!!!

The classic!!!

This is hilarious, I didn't think anyone else knew this song.

No one my age does.

Me and some friends found it on "related videos" on YouTube...like six years ago...and listen to it all the time.

I still have it on my iPhone and will "randomly" have it play. Works wonders when you're with a chick, suns out, windows down, and you're going to your house.

Sure, it's a goofy song, but she WILL be thinking about banging you.

I'd be interested to hear if anyone got relative fame from party promotion.

I live in a medium sized suburb gang doesn't have huge organized parties, and think it'd be a good way to get fame if executed correctly.

Hire a PR firm for a few months. Could run you anywhere from $1,000 to 5,000 per month. But they will get you on tv/radio/print.

Maybe it seems obvious, but the only good answer is find something you love and do it well. If there was one or a few things we could recommend, we'd all be doing those things. Just choose something you do well that's conducive to sex. That's the thing to watch out for. You could be a really good chess player, but you're probably not going to pull chicks from it unless you're world class. You don't need to be a world class musician or DJ to get chicks from it. Something to do with music, sports, dancing, maybe spirituality. Few clothes, physical activity, bonding, tapping into emotions, you're dominant/a leader = good.

The important thing about doing something you like is there's more to life than women. You still probably need to do a lot of shit you hate to get what you want anyway, and doing something most people wouldn't like just to get women (like being a model) would just add to it. Also, the things you love are the things that make you seem the most attractive. Women like men who seem to be in the zone when they're doing something.

A friend of mine pulls a lot of chicks from photography. He's learned to take top pictures over many years, now he has pics hanging at bars and restaurants, photos get published by tourist sites, etc. He gets in touch with models from it who he screws some times (he doesn't pay them for modelling, they only get the pics), and he takes shots from nature. He lives in a pretty nationalistic country with nice scenery and few good photographers, so when he gets a chance to show people how nice it is and how much he appreciates it there, chicks really like it.

Not going to happen unless you have 1:1000 looks. Every girl wants to be a model, most do part time jobs for change or even pay just to fluff their egos. But still, female modelling is a big market with a lot of cash involved. With male models, the demands are just a lot higher, and salaries are a lot lower. If you happen to be extremely good looking and start as a model, it might increase your chances. But you really need to be very, very good looking to consider it. Unless maybe you live in a place where you're very exotic, say white guy in Asia. I can see the a lot of the white, male models they use here are more in the 1:10-1:20 looks department than 1:1000. It's easy to see these guys wouldn't have a chance in the West.

Bear in mind though, most people would probably think modelling sucks. It occured to me while I was doing some shoots for one of my companies. Do this, do that, smile, smile more, keep smiling forever, bend over, apply more makeup... Just posing for more than a few pics is a pain for me. Imagine doing it hour after hour, day after day, year after year, no way unless I was getting paid a fortune for it. Which only a few top male models in the world are.

Porn will get you laid, but porn stars talk about how it's impossible to maintain regular relationships all the time in interviews. The real challenge is having an 8 inch+ dick that you can keep hard for 2 hours while low lives right around you are picking their noses, ordering you around, taking breaks and so on. Again, the actual job which will be your life will probably not feel very glamorous. And yeah, also, unless you're one of a handfull of (hard working) stars, you only earn real money doing gay porn.

Fame typically equals money. Look at anyone who's ever been on a show like road rules or real world or jersey shore. You can basically spend the next 2 years of your life making bar appearances for 5k or 10k for a couple hours.

Granted it's easier to become a youtube sensation than it is Dwayne Wade but if it were that easy just to become famous almost everyone would do it.

To me this question is like how do I become a Hollywood movie star almost, its not something most people are going to be able to do.

One thing you could do fairly easily is get famous in a niche. Your not gonna be the next brad pitt, but say your into boating you could probably become a known name in the boating community on blogs. I know thats not very glamorous but you get the point you may be able to become a local star in your community as a party promoter or something.

Personally I wouldn't want fame. In my business my partner is the one who wants to be "the guy" wants to be known, wants his face out there. I'm happy sitting behind the scenes low pro and just making my money.

WHAT?! Fame is NOT better than game.
Kevin Federline banged one of the most famous chicks EVER!
Game will GET you fame!
Bro you gotta pick a scene be active, make friends.
The party scene is EASIEST!
get a good dj.
get a good location.(rent a warehouse, or an apartment)
Pay someone on Fiver to make a flyer with a hot chick on it. Put hundreds of em all over your city especially by the schools and campuses. Get a team of 3 people to help put them everywhere. You gotta get the school sports teams involved. Why? They got all the girls.
make sure the flyer has your Facebook info.
Give chicks a free before 11.
Everyone else $15 at the door.
If ur in canada 19+ on the flyer for drinking and get some wristbands for the people who want booze.
do this over and over again and eventually you'll be famous for your city. Eventually you'll meet people who do this for clubs.
how do I know?
Ex Club Promoter who used to throw wild house parties when I was 18.
I wasn't popular until after I'd do that stuff

Alonzo taking an isolated example to prove a general rule is not how logic works. Famous guys especially djs, rockstars and athletes regularly pull ungodly amounts of women. How many famous guys got to bang her before he did? Besides Britney Spears aint all that.

I think the most surefire way is to take a ton of gear and become a presence in the fitness world. It requires no learnable skills or talents other than a willingness to inject shit ton of chemicals into your body and a knack for shameless self-promotion.

LOL dude it's an isolated example that proves the point I made. The only thing that matters was Kevin was not famous and became famousbecause he had game. Fame is nothing more than elevated social status to a Godlike level. Certain people like the ones you mentioned have Godlike social status BECAUSE they have Game bro. Game is nothing more than knowing how to get what you want. The original meaning came from when people would give you advice. They were "giving you game" or "putting you up on game". And think. The reason why it's referenced to the dating scene is because you NEED game to get laid aka get what you want from women.

I say all that to say this. The party example I provided was an awesome example of how to acquire higher social status. Why? Women love music. People love being around women. You create the scenario for women to come around, you become known for being cool man. Just consider what I'm saying bro. That's why rockstars and everyone else in the music biz gets so much sex!-They create cool scenarios.

I used to throw Parties all the time so I KNOW these dynamics lol

So it follows that all guys with sufficiently high game eventually become famous? Of course not and you know it. That's not how the world works.

Fame has more to do with luck and positioning than game. Though I will admit game is a factor. Kevin Federline was at the right place at the right time (i.e. one of Britney Spears dancers) and when she become available, he worked his game.

Blogging is certainly one of the easiest but it can take a long time and is never a guarantee. Of course, nothing in life is ever guaranteed.

If you want to become known for anything you have to become skilled (or relevant) at something people are interested in, and then market yourself well. No easy task and at minimum most people will only ever scrape the surface of temporary mediocrity.

We live in an age where more people than ever are trying to become "someone." It's not enough to just focus on fame anymore. Like a lot of other posters have mentioned, fame takes timing, skill, positioning, and a lot of luck.

In my opinion, it's always better to focus and develop a skill or something you enjoy as a hobby. Stay driven but don't have high expectations. Put yourself out there but avoid obsessing over the end goal. Have fun, work hard, enjoy life, stay disciplined and driven, and good things will come.

Let me explore this thought about "blogging."

I never considered myself going into blogging. Because I have nothing to write about. I'm 23...what fucking life experiences do I have? Not much.

Meanwhile here are my hobbies:

Reading
Sleeping
Exercise/weight lifting
Basketball (ball is life)
Eating
Drinking
Booty

Out of these...which could I take public and get some fame for? Eating. Food. What if I became a local food blogger? (For the people - I'm in a small city of maybe 120k people. There are no "food critiques" here).

Any thoughts? I would love to have some "Anthony Bourdain" fame.

Redbeard why not try going outside your comfort zone instead of just for the low hanging fruit? There's nothing special about any of those hobbies. If you ever mentioned those "hobbies" to a chick you'd come off as some basic, boring dude. Not a recipe for fame.

How can the average guy build some fame?

the best way i can think of to build fame is to start at a mico level

for example;

I go to the gym a lot. For me if to get "famous" i would need to start by making friends with regulars at the gym.

I'd have to get to the point of talking to everyone so that they knew me on a name basis. This way i could create my own small bubble of fame.

Everyone would know me at my gym. Thus, when I wanted to talk to a girl and someone i knew walked by id casually say whats up and continue talking to her

Im not famous in this example but to her I would appear to be famous or well known.

This is just an example though it can be applied in all walks of life.

Instead of trying to become widely know, focus on dominating small environments. This will create an illusion of grandeur.

Why not? Food (specifically cooking) is huge right now. I will tell you that becoming good at cooking and being able to talk about it goes a long way. Still, building a reputation and fanbase will still take a lot of effort and luck.

A couple of guys in my small city had a blog. All they did was go to nightclubs, bars, restaurants, and parties, get hammered as hell, take a lot of party pics, and do funny little write ups of the evening on the blog. They built some local fame pretty quick.

Weather it's getting paid, getting paid, or anything else in life.

But, if I could get some action by doing something I love (cooking eating and drinking), might as well collect my dividends.
