Hello people. This is not a question, I just feel down about what happened yesterday and I have no one to share it with but the interwebs.
So I read "Bang" two weeks ago and it opened my eyes to a few things. I have been pretty much a "lame dick", for about half a year now. I havent been available to girls from my country since pretty much middle school, since I have been to Asia for a long time and I have been in a long relationship that ended 6 months ago.
Anyway I started at uni and we had an intro party yesterday. It was boring and fake as fuck. I mean I told the same boring bull shit story about myself a million times and I listened to a million boring bullshit stories from people whose names I already forgot. I talked to all the hottest girls, at different random times, but I only actually got the attention of one. It only lasted for like an hour and then all of a sudden her attraction faded. I was teasing her a bit (like the good student I am), but I think I might have over done it. We are both going to study economy, so with a smile on my face I said that one day I was going to put on a shirt and work for an evil corporate machine, holding down the little man while cashing in a big fat paycheck. She said I should help her get a job there then and I said that she could be my secretary. It might have been to much, because she started getting defensive or something like that (there were other people). Maybe it was like saying "your my bitch"?
Anyway shortly thereafter we ran out of things to talk about and silence ensued. I know, I should maybe just have asked her if she liked dogs or cats or something, but the momentum felt lost.
I feel kind of powerless, because I actually used to be pretty good at this in Asia. And I know you will say western edge, but I was way better than any of my friends and I didn't even speak the language.
Anyway, I think I need to think through some "off the shelf" stories about family, work and other generic stuff. Maybe even some interesting questions. Any suggestions? And also I will try to stay confident and snappy, but without boasting too much.
Thanks a bunch if you took the time to read the ramble all the way to this point. Any suggestions on why I cant get, or hold a girls attention would be nice.

Did at any point in time the girl thought to herself: "Hey, this guy actually could get me into trouble if I am ever alone with him"?

You told a hyperfeminist Danish woman that she should be your secretary? You should tell her she should be your boss at least if not the CEO.And that she should carry a whip everyday to punish you for not wearing stockings.(just kidding).

For example I would talk to a Danish woman like that:
-Are you from Denmark?
-Yes.
-Good choice.
-Ha ha.Why is this a good choice?
-Because Denmark is very nice country. The state cares for everything for you.
-Not exactly accurate.
-But it is.You have everything for free there.Education etc.And also very nice herrings.
-Have you been to Denmark?
-Yes,one time.I noticed evey salad you have is with herring.
-It is true. Our fish is delicious.
-I know.Are you from Aarhus?
-No,I am from Copenhagen.
-I was there.Nice theatre.I stayed near Nyhavn. You have Tivoli there.
-Oh yes.
-Tivoli very nice. And all the museums. Can you tell me why all Danish girls look like the mermaid?
-No no.This is not true.
-But they do.I looked at the mermaid and she looked Danish.
-There are many kinds of Danish people.
-But mermaids look Danish.
-Yes.
-I knew that. What is your favourite story of Hans Kristian Andersen?
-I read this when I was little.
-Do you like Kirkergaard?
-Are you interested in philosophy?
-Sometimes.Now Danish films have become popular. They talk a lot about Lars von Trier.
-I know.
-There are some interesting dialogues there.Although mostly I do not understand.
-Ha ha.
-Yes.Do you like swimming?
-I do.
-Have you been to Greece?
etc

There are too many cases here of guys going out one time, not hitting a home run, and then getting frustrated.
If you want to start a business, do you get upset and quit after your first day of work?
If you want to get big muscles, do you give up after one workout in the gym that left you sore?
You gotta have a 10 times thicker skin than what you're showing here, and that will come from going out every week, repeatedly, and grinding it out. I don't care if you repeat the same line 1,000 times, but this is what it takes until you become good at it and achieve your goals.

Spend less time thinking and more time doing. Then you can reflect. I got paralysis by analysis for a long time back when I was overthinking shit. I still do it to some degree, but it happens less and less because I'm putting on muscle.
Heartiste had a post about how the ectomorph was most commonly associated with the ectotonic personality type. I'm not saying that you are some skinny bastard (I don't know), but you sound a lot like how I was when I was overthinking shit.
It's a good way to look at things. Here's some links that you can read.

I used to be a real skinny bastard and I always had that thing where I would overanalyze every situation (probably because I thought someone was going to kick my ass or something, who knows). That's actually what brought me to game, I observed my friends getting with these women and I wanted to know how. Since I started lifting weights, I'm much more confident because I intimidate the average sized guy. People are much, much friendlier if you are friendly to them and you look like you could kick the shit out of them if you felt like it.
“I have a very simple rule when it comes to management: hire the best people from your competitors, pay them more than they were earning, and give them bonuses and incentives based on their performance. That’s how you build a first-class operation.”

@Greek kamaki
Yeah this was too "sassy" for denmark... But that conversation sounds way to boring for me to actually be able to do it for more than 10 minutes.
@Roosh I am actually reading "Dont bang Denmark" right now. The part where you show how many girls you had to open to get a lay was another eye opener, I thought that count would have been far less. I think you are spot on about Denmark and especially the part about the bitch shield yilding ultra femitards.
Also I have always said that Asian girls are a lot more feminine, not knowing that it was actually the rest of the world. There is a kind of situation that just dawned on me might just be a local problem. Sometimes when I am having a conversation with my friend(s) and my friend's girlfriend says some really retarded shit, I have to change the subject, because if I point out that she is factually incorrect and actually dumb as fuck, she would bitch out and ruin the evening.
The problem is that male-female equality is almost as politically delicate a subject as I imagine black-white equality is in the states. This means that all girls are basically red hot feminists for as long as they are prime meat, and only when they start getting saggy do they wake up to reality. Its a tragedy really. And at the time when they are still feminists, they love nothing more than to put a man down for showing any sign of superiority.
The jante lov thing is more complex than you make it out to be though (and I dont think anyone can be expected to completely "grasp" it in two months). The laws you sited were written down by a writer to point out how much the jante lov sucks. But it has its good sides also really.
The best way I can describe it is that Denmark is a big kindergarden where the only things you have to worry about in life are social. So basically if someone is better than you at something you just decide that you are not even competing with them, because that competition is for nerds and those competing are lame. So if they have a shit load of money, money is not everything in life, its just possessions and brings only superficial happiness. If someone is way more buff than you, you can choose to think that they are meat heads and steroid junkies etc.
This means that people generally do not brag, because it will make them seem lame. Bragging indirectly when people know that that is what you are doing, will make you seem even lamer. But if people ask you about a side of you that is genuinely awesome you can of course tell them about it and people will compliment you for it. One upside though, is that the CEO of a really big company and the garbage man who comes to pic up his garbage every Sunday, can the best of friends and share beers etc. So yes, Denmark is a total pacifist nanny state and its a great place to have been born because it is safe and money hangs on the trees, but then its great place to the fuck away from. And Copenhagen is even worse, because people who live there think its possibly the best city in the world and hates everyone else for not recognizing this.
But yeah, that was way off topic. I will get out there and open a ton more girls before coming back here to whine. And thanks for the links! Will read them when I finish this book.

Jante Law is not that bad because it gives a chance. It is an equalizer. For example when you approach you do not get rejected ASAP because she needs to repect the Jante Law.But if you overdo and display Balkan superioirity and machism you will be rejected immediately because you break the law.Of course her friens will warn her ''this is a dirty foreigner from the south,he likely does not repect our law in many ways'' but she has to give you chance till you make that crucial mistake.Sometimes the Scandinavians lose patience and instead of waiting they just grab their friends from the hand and out of you.Community works there.

About economy you may ask:
Do you like more macro- or microeconomics?(Girl thinks a bit and then answers macroeconomics)
Do you want to be an accountant?(meaning are you manly enough to handle the job,are you good with numbers or are you just another weak female only interested in appearance?Girl will say yes,I like accounting)
Do you like marketing?(meaning are you presentable, attractive,do you have people skills?Girl will say no if she regards marketing as not important or yes if she thinks she is attractive and can get people interested in products)
Do you want to work in bank?(meaning do you like security, disciplined work, detailed stuff,do you like handling with money?) or do you want to work in enterpise?(meaning do you prefer freedom, are you ambitious, innovative, daring etc)
I think Denamrk has very good economy(giving her the opportunity to talk about Denamrk and explain to you all the strengths of the system as well as its weaknesses)
Pity that in Greece economy goes from bad to worse.Maybe we need more economists from Scandinavia.Or
I am sure when you graduate you will manage to boost the Danish economy(she will laugh by that although she believes in her strengths)
What is your opinion about the Danish banking sector?(if she takes economics too seriously)Or do you think the stockmarket will rise?Or do you think ECB is going to finance the loans of the South?
More generic questions(if the girl behaves very Germanic):What do you think about the euro?I think it is good that Denmark rejected the euro.
What did you vote in the vote for European constitution?(Denamrk rejected it)
Scandinavian countries seem to do rather good inside the EU.Do you think Scandinavian model is the best?
What is your opinion about Germany?Merkel?Does EU help or harm Scandinavia?
or
Are you in favour of rough capitalism or do you support welfare state?
Do you think the south of Europe will go banrupt?
Etc you need to calibrate how deeply interested the girl is in economics. If she hates economics then all of the above are a non go.
For example you ask:
Do you like more micro- or macroeconomics?
She answers:I do not know.We just started learning about that.
This is a no go answer. You have to stop discussing about economics immediately.
If she answers ;;I prefer macroeconomics. It is more true.'' then you may tell her:Macroeconomics are rather interesting.I.Some theories etc...
Generally northern women(especially German) like to be intellectually engaged in a degree.(of course it is nice also when you talk about interest bonds and simultaneously you grab her butt and touch her legs. The more the interest increases the more the temperature heightens.)
Danish economy does very well(touching her butt).I am sure you are going to buy the whole of Greece(touching and caressing her legs). How much will you invest(grabbing her breast) etc.

Stay positive. That's the most important thing. Visualize success constantly. Everyone gets better with practice.
And though I know nothing about Danish women, that secretary remark said with a smile and laugh isn't that controversial or rude. Maybe after teasing a bit, you continue the conversation down a more serious path so you don't alienate her.
Always be trolling

I've only being going out for about a month or so with game principles in mind, and let me tell you man don't expect to become don juan over night. This stuff takes a long time to become ingrained in your personality. It happens approach by approach, date by date, text by text, literally minute by minute.
I was doing great with a cute blonde i met two weeks ago and ended up blowing it with negs that weren't refined enough (too much of a direct insult, not the backhanded compliment they're supposed to be) and bad logistics. The old me would have been upset about it for days. The new one is not. I went home thinking "ok, what did I learn from this event" not thinking "damn i'm depressed, fuck life."
Abundance mentality is hard to fake, but the more you approach and the more leads you get you'll start to not value any one particular number over the others which will help you develop your inner game.
This stuff is work. Incorporating these ideas into your personality is a very difficult, but worthwhile goal. I'm a total newb, but even my best friend (who is a natural) says he can see some change in me.
So keep at it. It's natural to get down. I found this stuff very depressing at first because the red pill shattered my illusions about "romance" and how the world does not reward the honorable man when it comes to women (or anything really). The truth is depressing, but it will set you free.
