OK... so didn't get a chance to hook up with the boys which was probably a mistake but the hostel i stayed at turned out to be a great laugh and the owners there were really helpful in getting us into all the best clubs going on that night. I really liked this town and to begin with was rather hopeful. I will probably never see so many hot women in such a concentrated area again in all my life. But I can now see the mistake was going to probably the younger bars were the girls were more interested in dancing than hooking up. The ones I did manage to talk to were actually pretty cold and the other guys from the hostel had the same experience. Which was a total shock to me having never had problems with chatting up girls before. Should have gone to Cruz instead of Mitre without a doubt. They have no concept of overcapacity in this country. It was unbearable inside that club!
Still had a great time only wish I could do it all over again with the knowledge I now have! However I only had time for a one nighter which i quickly realised was going to be a very tough call and I don't like to to have to work too hard. If I'm not on the same wavelength as a girl then to be honest she ain't worth it and the Argentinean approach to women just isn't my style. I have to keep my dignity in tact. Off to Brazil now.. Lets hope I have more success there....

Oh man I know what you mean! I went there once and will never go again. Its a big club, but they cram them in like sardines. Plus its a cockfest.

Yeah, there is a big learning curve in any city. Thats why I think its best to stay in a city for at least 2 weeks.

But to be honest, the chance of getting laid in Cordoba in 2 weeks is not very high. It will take just as much luck as game.

It doesn't matter how good your game is, Argentine girls are just harder to lay. Thats just the way it is. Amarid said it well: I bang 1 chick in Argentina for every 3 I bang in Colombia.

Some countries are easier, some countries are harder. Argentina is harder. Thats ok, I'm in it for the long run. I'm gonna figure these girls out. Wow a lot of Argentina bashing going on!

As many of you know I live in Cordoba by choice. I could just pack up and leave anytime but I don't because it's just a wonderful city overall.

It's just conducive to a fun, laid back, and healthy lifestyle where you also happened to be surrounded by gorgeous and I mean GORGEOUS women constantly.

Now, having said that I wouldnt recommend visiting here for only a short time if you travel to get laid. You have to put in the time to learn the language, build multiple social circles, and calibrate your game.

But if you are going to live somewhere outside the USA, Cordoba is a solid choice. It's the best (not "most") bang for your buck!

By the way, I've been here for 5 weeks now and I plan to start posting some guides about getting girls here. PartyTime and I are starting to finally see some decent success.

Good point. Even after figuring them out, the quantity of pussy you get in Argentina will always be significantly less than you can get in other south American countries. Its taken a long time for this realization to sink in for me. This is definitely true. But the thing is I really like living here. If I didn't like the lifestyle I have here I would just leave now, cause I'm definitely getting way less pussy here than i could be getting elsewhere.

Cordoba (and probably Argentina as a whole) is not place to get laid on a short trip. The strategy here is get yourself a girlfriend that's a true 9, and stick with her. Of course, game on the side to keep your options open, but your not going to get much casual sex and one night stands. In Cordoba you gotta get yourself a girlfriend if you want consistent sex.

Actually Mango hostel IS in Nueva Cordoba. GringoEd's previous reply was based on us looking up the Tango hostel on google maps which had the wrong address for it.

I passed by the Tango hostel yesterday, and its in a good spot. It looked clean from the outside too, but i didnt go inside. Le Gran Hostel is also in a good location

A good strategy in any country, but the girls here drink way, way less
than the US

Another couple good strategies to increase your chance of SNL are targeting chicks above 23 years old, and also avoiding the large groups. target groups of 2 girls.

Oh man, we've had 2 large parties, and a few smaller ones, and they were really awesome. I'm talking 65% girls, 35 % guys (cause we invited mostly just girls). Alright, I've gotton myself in the mood to talk about the girls, so Im gonna roll with it.

So why are the girls here is Nuevo Cordoba so damn hot? Here are my toughts:

1) Youth: The average age here is low. Students & young perfessionals. Its a university town, and after the students graduate many of them are not going back to their small towns. They stay here to work.

2) Rich Genetics: Its not cheap to send your kids off to college and support their living expenses. Many of the girls here come from [relatively] well off families. And as our good friend Gmanifesto can attest to, rich men marry hot women, and have hot daughters.

3) More money = better dressed, and better groomed.

4) Small town girls = good attitudes. Many of the girls here are from the smaller farmtowns out in the provinces (contrary to the US, the majority of the wealthy in AR are land owners and own large farms). So richer does not mean bitchier. The girls here are very sweet, not bitches at all (most of them). But not easy either. As I am better understanding this "histerica" shit, I am learning that it does not come from a "bitchy" place. They are just protecting themselves and their emotions.

5) Lack of a lower class = few ugly girls. No lower class people really live in Nueva Cordoba. and the only jobs for lower class girls are really just waitressing, nothing else really.

Its the best we could find in our limited time. There is better available in some other parts of town, but really you gotta be here in nueva cordoba. Cordoba isnt like BA with as many high end luxury condos.

Our place is 75 square meters (about 700 square feet), granite in the kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedroom, nice balcony, decent view. And is costing us about $1150 a month. This is the short term furnished rate, which is almost a 2x markup from the 2 year lease, unfurnished price. I'd call it average by US standards. Definately nothing too luxury. But everyone who visits our place comments on how nice it is. I guess its pretty nice for Cordoba standards.

Its really funny. The guys here have SHIT looking apartments. The apartment it self might be decent, but they furnish it with CRAP furniture, and dont keep it clean. I'm talking guys in their late 20's who have decent jobs and can afford better. Its frat style living well into your thirties. Here the guys game with their mouth piece, not their possessions .
