record heat wave in America, OMG!

doesn't help that I live in a southern state but man this is getting out of hand

hardly anyone is even going outside of their house right now, everyone is staying inside where there is air conditioning, hot and humid where I am at, since it is summer I am staying with my parents for two months until I go back to college in the fall. Stuck at home for now, and yes, as you can tell by the posting, I have been spending an unusually long time on forums.

Usually my friends and I would play outside but no one wants to play soccer or flag football in "heatstroke" weather.

Looks like Southern states may not even get much of a winter now!

They need to cut off power to dumb-ass stores and restaurants first. Under a Tuthmosis regime, H&M, McDonald's, and those stupid cupcake stores would be the first to get shut off whenever there was increased demand.

We should have national Fat-Melt day where all the places that fatties visit get their AC shutdown.

There will be beached land-whales strewn across the yards and streets of middle America.

Nashville hit an all-time record of 109 last week. That's Vegas type weather. The climate is definitely becoming hotter.

It's great here in New England! Last winter we had no snow, and this summer has been absolutely gorgeous!

It has been 93º every day in the shade at my house. Not much to do but embrace the heat - dress lightly and swim often

That could be dangerous. I can already imagine a fat cow not getting her daily Mcdonalds and going into a rage with her suv.

Friday afternoon, a buddy of mine wanted to hang out - picks me up at my house at 2:30, we drive to his crib. On the way there the thermometer in his car says 101F. Huge storm, heavy winds blows through. We leave his place around 4:00 to go chill with other people, thermometer says 76F. 25 degree temperature drop in under two hours. A cousin of mine in Zanesville, OH, was told the power won't be back on until this coming weekend.

Saturday afternoon, I'm pretty sure there were blackouts planned. Power went off at 1 p.m., didn't come back on till almost 5 p.m. The minute the power went off police are setting up stop signs where traffic lights aren't working.

Crazy fucking weather, though. I hate stepping outside to smoke a cigarette this time of day (don't smoke inside my own home).

People shouldn't complain unless it's humid. Dry, desert heat ain't shit. I barely even break a sweat in that and I sweat like a pig.

I am in Maryland and the humidity is exactly what makes this hot weather unbearable. Maryland is bad when it is just 88-92 degrees so 100+ is hard to deal with because we then get 110-120 heat indexes.

Basically, I have been a vampire during this heatwave....only come out at night.

Cincinnati, OH at the moment: 98F, 39% humidity.

Probably the least humid it's been all week. A lot of times during the summer it's 80-90% humidity.

Hah! I've lived all of my life without an AC (in a country where summer temperatures routinely reach 105 Fahrenheit) and I've been fine. Pussies [Image: tongue.gif]

It's changing.

This is absolutely the truth and some friends and I were talking about this last night.

While it's outrageous heat in one part of the world, you should see how unbelievably cool it has been so far this summer in Hawaii. Last night the low broke 60 at my house. I've been to Tokyo a few times in the last couple months and it was extremely cool there.

20 years ago we never had thunderstorms in Hawaii either. Maybe one every other year. This past spring we had one a month at least.

Damn Republicans.

Aloha!

One side note: Bitches love air conditioning. Since they either don't have it, are too cheap to pay for the higher electric bill, or live with tons of roommates who keep turning it down, I make it part of my summer pitch.

Probably increases my take-home potential 15 percent.

What country is that? By the way, Toronto is hotter than a muthafcuka and not only do I not have AC but I don't even use a fan either, beta boy!
