Being approached for the first time

Being approached for the first time

I am pretty new to this, have had some great success and am hanging around a lot more women than I could have imaged a few years ago. I have also started dressing a lot nicer, tighter clothes, etc. I am comfortable approaching women and initiating conversations but in all the time I've ever gone out, I have never been approached by a woman until recently.

I was at a bar with some friends and a 9 at the other end of he bar came over and complimented a hat I was wearing. I was more shocked at the fact that she approached me than how good looking she was. I was at a loss for what to say, and don't want to be in that situation again, but as I've said, I have never actually been approached. In hindsight I was thinking about joking with her and then putting it on her just to take it away saying it looked better on me. Or saying something like "Do you always compliment strangers?" Any thoughts?

First of all you should not be surprised. Personally I am used to it by now and you should get used to it too.

Just smile, say "thanks" and start gaming as normal. You can move into qualifying her pretty quickly if she opens you.

Did your hat look something like this:

As time has gone on I've learned to just say 'thanks' when a girl says I'm good looking, nice eyes, arms, etc, then begin raising the stakes because they are already interested.

The putting the hat on her/taking it away would be a strong move too.

Just make sure it doesn't smell beforehand. That sorta happened to me once...

When a girl approaches me I tone down the game because she's already into me. All you have to do is have a good conversation, tease her a little, and you're there.
