Francis Underwood (Kevin Spacey) and Doug Stamper (far right, Michael Kelly) from House of Cards are both pretty awesome.
Great show. I'm about halfway through the season and yeah Spacey's character is definitely alpha. His wife is also alpha, but they make it work pretty well (she knows he has to sleep with people to secure certain power for them, etc).
I'm worried that that Zoe chick is going to end up fucking his life up somehow. She's definitely the feminist of the show (getting the paper editor fired for calling her a cunt and just being a bitch overall).
I'm hoping I won't see another alpha toppled by a "strong, independent female" on a show...like I said I'm only halfway through the season.
