I met a girl 2 weekends ago at a happy hour that I honestly thought was going to go nowhere. She is a grad school dropout now starting a career in medical device sales (7 in looks, 6 in convo). She's 27, no kids, married and divorced at 24(red flag).

We exchanged #s at the bar and I didn't engage with her last week as I had a crazy week with deadlines for my job, and then I was heading out of town this past weekend. While out of town Saturday night, she randomly hits me up with small talk "Hey" "WYD tonight? Me and my girl are going back to that bar...." etc etc.

I told her we could catch up tonight (Monday) and she was non-comittal. It dawned on me that aside from the short convo at the bar, we haven't once spoken. I banged one brazilian girl who spoke English as her second language a year and a half ago who I never spoke to on the phone. That was great while it lasted haha

Most people hate answering calls nowadays and would rather text.

I use WhatsApp voice messages more than I text or call. I’ve often made women get WhatsApp just to communicate with me.

As far as texting. I can. But I sure hate reading “wyd” and “hbu”. Turns my stomach. I don’t know why people talk like they. Laziness I suppose.

Even texting probably is on the way out. in the future getting laid will depend on your ability to communicate only in emojis, gifs, memes and pictures.
