inner game issues.

Most guys have something that they are insecure about that affects their inner game. Although i am tall, work out and dress pretty well, i resemble a certain undesirable celebrity and it fucks with my inner game. a lot of the times people especially girls who are average or below point and giggle or outright laugh at me. usually i think fuck these cunts and put it out of my mind but it affects my social value as im in uni. How would you guys handle it if you were me?

I store a large majority of my body fat around my abdomen.

That means unless I work hard to get under 15%, I will always have a small gut.

I'm in the high teens right now and eating more to maximize muscle gains, and because the rest of my body is lean, it's harder to give a look that shows I'm getting fat as I gain. However, the gut is still there.

Oddly enough it's just me and critical parents that view this as a negative. Not that I care about what they say. My friends tell me I should put on muscle and not worry about more weight and I do get compliments on my body from girls.

Also, I'd like to add that these 'inner game' issues aren't necessarily weaknesses. It's just about adaption. For me, it's about accepting my body type and maybe calibrating how I maintain my body composition. I've gone a long way towards acceptance.

For the OP, maybe it's about realizing certain things about your appearance that aren't as bad as you think. It's your self-image creating negative thoughts in your head. The book Psycho-Cybernetics covers self-image extensively and is a great read if you are interested. It's the foundation for a lot of modern self-help psychology that borrowed concepts from it.

i do get looks from broads, look at today i was in an elective class it had a few dudes and a lot of girls. As i looked around i saw a couple of girls look at me and give some IOI's, the other dudes were not even competition. A couple of average girls saw this, whispered to each other, one of them pointed and they started to laugh really loudly. it just pissed me off, i looked at them like a serial killer and they stopped. i remember arnold saying when a girl used to grimace at him he used to flex for her and laugh. i'm looking for something like that.

OK, you think the girls were laughing at you because you look like rowan atkinson(mr bean)?

The best thing I can think of is that you actually develop a mister bean impersonation and when someone says "HEY you look like mr bean"(or whoever it is) just respond in full character. If you can pull it off, you will definitely score some points.

Change the look if needed. Change the haircut, change the beard style (or lack of)... and then basically ignore it. Plow through. Just ignore comments. Someone says, "Hey, has anyone told you you look like [some dude]?" reply with nonchalance. Say yes, no, whatever you'd like. Just say it like you don't really care. Ignore it and continue on with whatever other conversation you'd like. Don't give the subject the time of day.

Hey man, everybody has issues. Lots of them. You've just got to change what you can (sooner rather than later), accept what you can't, and do your best.

Somewhere out there, there's a guy who has a lot of handicaps working against him, and he's wrastling up a lot more ass than a lot of guys with no such issues.

"Cool" works well, too. The important thing is not the word in of itself, but the tone and body language presented. You have to give the impression that you don't care at all.

When you react with emotion, people will try to provoke that emotion. When you react with nonchalance, it may be funny to a some people at first, but without emotion to tie it too, it'll die a very quick death and shortly no one will bring it up again.

1) You gotta be OI. It's the only way.
2) Change your look completely. Plus that's fun to try out something new, and you'll get new kinds of girls which is also fun. Change hair from long to short or vice versa. Color it [something normal]. Wear more/less jewelry. Wear jeans/suits. Boots/wingtips/neon Nikes.
