So after the whole abandoning my wife thing, pretty much every single one of my friends going back to college have stopped speaking to me. Even my sister won't take my calls. And she didn't even like my ex that much. All I've got left are my two buds from high school who don't live anywhere near me.

Outside of work the only real human contact I have right now is my ex, the girls I try to pick up, and the one I sleep with about once a week. And I'm trying to resist the temptation to see her more often, since it saps my motivation to sarge.

But what I really need are a few guys in my corner. Not even to go sarging with. I'm starting to get comfortable going out by myself, so I don't need that. Just some buds to go out drinking with etc.

Feels like making new friends when you're an adult is way harder than trying to game chicks.

So any ideas on what I can do? Work isn't a viable option by the way.

I haven't made a new "friend" in 10 years. The only people I trust/roll with I met in childhood through college.

Roll out Dolo, or move to where your crew is.

If you can find some neighborhood poker games, those are usually a good place to start. It really becomes something related to the activities you take part in. If you want to learn how to sail, take a class, and meet some people there. Play some pick up basketball at the Gym. These are just a few ideas.

Taking dancing lessons you can make friends pretty fast. Stuff like tango, salsa, rock, etc

That's an interesting observation - and one that's generally true. It makes me contemplate Internet initiated "lairs" where those linked by pua interests can conduct productive work based on their common interests.

It's been my experience that it doesn't work.

I'm curious myself for the answer to this. The only new friends i've made the past couple years have been other bloggers.

I actually did meet one cat who was super smooth, just like me at the horse races.

Sharp dresser with heaps of Game.

We were a good duo.

I split southern ca and spent the winter in miami beach.

I got back for the racetrack in summer and ran into one of his friends.

I said, "where is XXX?"

He said, "you didn't hear? He died."

Crazy.

Well you could always use my insta-wing techique.

If I am out by myself sometimes I just ask a radmon guy in the bar if there are any cute girls there that he is interested in and, if he says yes then tell him I am going to help him pick her up. Then just roll from there.

If he turns out to be a cool guy you could well end up with both a friend and wing.

I actually use a similar move sometimes.

Or you can always sniff out the local drug dealer and roll with him.
