Southern Poverty Law Center denounces me, manosphere

I remember reading about this organization when studying black civil rights in college.

Some sites you know are on the list. Here's a good response:

Seeing the SPLC denounce the manosphere makes me even happier to be a part of it.

Good job, Roosh. Fuck those people.

It's interesting that the SPLC would consider these "hate" groups. I'm not going to bash the organization because they for the most part are a solid organization that does admirable work, but this seems off base. AVfM's response was very measured and responsible. I hope they reconsider their attack on these sites.

These liberal echo chambers are a joke.

I remember a few years back a heinous murder -- a gang of immigrants, some legal some illegal, I think, raped and brutally murdered two 13-14 year old girls that were just walking through a park. The case was tried in TX, and, predictably, the jurors were disgusted and the thugs were given the death penalty. Then, in a move that can only be described as WTF, all of these liberal attorneys and agencies were rushing to the defense of these murderers, mostly on grounds of amnesty/whether TX can execute a foreign citizen.

Mind you there was no doubt that these guys were guilty. The whole thing was just a big publicity stunt for the attorneys. Flies directly in the face of their stated mission -- to defend the innocent, yada yada. They were all fighting over this case while actual potentially innocent people all over the country go without adequate legal representation.

This is really sad.

The SPLC was at the forefront of helping many people struggling to gain civil rights. I respected this organization for a long time.

I am not sure why they are taking a stance on the gender debate in America. It would be like the SPLC becoming an advocate for Palestinians when they are in no way connected to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

I am really tired of activists practicing umbrella issue advocacy. It seems many people feel the need to include feminist struggles, homosexual struggles, Arab struggles, etc, all into the African-American civil rights movement.

"Female is the new black." "Homosexual is the new black." "Arab is the new black."

Dude, not true.

The SPLC is nothing short of a money-making operation. They may have done some admirable work in the past, but all they do now is attack anyone right of Bill Clinton.

For christsake, the Boy Scouts are on the infamous "hate-watch list".

They've done fantastic work in the past, and I've admired their strategies so I'm really surprised to see them lump Roosh into such undesirable company. Really, really sloppy due-diligence on their behalf. Lol this is the first SPLC-denounced forum I've been a part of since Stormfront banned me for tagging too many white chicks.

WTF?? I guess the whole racism thing is over, all black kids have access to a quality education, safe streets are free of gang-related violence, living wage inner city jobs are plentiful, penitentiaries no longer have a disproportionate black population, kids aren't born into crushing poverty, and addictive drug issues are under control and no longer decimating communities...so the SPLC is free to move into more pressing issues. Good lord.

At any rate, this forum should expect to see an influx of members from progressive law schools.

The fact that this very liberal group is willing to mention you and others of the manosphere obviates the fact that the movement has arrived. Most men will still go through their lives unaware that their is a better way, but there is a growing minority of people who have seen the light.

I think it's great that the manosphere has reached young people, like myself and others here, before we had a chance to get truly fucked by marriage/slavimony.

Game has been lumped in with hate groups.

Something I wrote a few months ago:

This is the same organization that called the Ludwig von Mises Institute an anti-immigration hate group. There is no tolerance at the SPLC, only info-porn for paranoid schizophrenics with liberal arts degrees.

I think it is a sign of the times.

Rush Limbaugh is catching hell for calling a woman a slut. Limbaugh has said some very despicable things in the past. He is a shock jock of the right. It is expected. But what does him in? What causes him to lose the most money? What causes Limbaugh to have dead air at the ends of his shows?

He called a woman who wanted insurance to cover her birth control a slut.

Now, I am not getting into whether what he did was right or wrong. That is another debate. I do think that it is interesting when Rush called a woman a slut so much uproar ensued, more than he had ever previously seen compared to his other politically incorrect utterances.

This, along with the demonizing of the manosphere, is an interesting observation of post-feminist society.

Yep.

All my dating related testimony and commentary will be under "Commander Shepard."

No way would I bring this stuff or views on feminism to the public life.

I'd risk being black listed.

I've canned so many friendships (and missed out on feminist/protest pussy) because of my "sexist" commentary on facebook.

Then again, it was my fault. I should have known better. Many of my friends were green party activists at he time.

Only time you will see CS's mug is if you meet him in real life under covert circumstances (lol).

Good thing my handle is held by millions of video gamers.

That Roosh and the Game movement is being considered a hate movement by SPLC is not a minro issue.

These people are nothing short of thought police - as bad as anything the Nazis and Communists put out.

Roosh. You are officially a target of the "system". Any movement that encourages critical thought and shuns groupthink will be considered subversive.

take this seriously.

I just read the actual article at SPLC.

Are they serious? Did an actual lawyer write this? Are they really trying to use ManBoobz as a respectable news source?

Are they really mocking scientific information collected at these sites as "facts" without linking to citations for their assertions?

This is deplorable. I don't keep up-to-date on the doings of the SPLC, but I've read that they've done some good work for victims of racism in the past and I can't believe they would dilute their name with such an unprofessional and poorly researched article.

Congratulations Roosh!

Your success has drawn the attention of the establishment.

I love the smell of napalm in the morning.

The Southern Poverty Law Center is a politically correct organization who now operates well beyond the civil rights movement with the goal of the destruction of the western culture. Consider it a badge of honor to be attacked by those wing-nuts.

These are the kinds of groups they SPLC normally tracks - groups that practice and advocate hate in the true sense. What's going on in the manosphere doesn't begin to approach what these other groups do.
